Coffee, Notices, and Blood

■ - Violent headcanon

((Though Dana has a relatively mellow attitude she is actually very, very violent and is pretty happy when she can do something violent or destructive. (Like in the extermination drabble I wrote.) But she doesn’t lash out against people or animals unless she has good motive. But if she does-you know they dead.))

♦ - Emotional headcanon

((Dana is not the most emotional person in the world, having her emotional reaction dulled by the weirdness of Night Vale and being an intern. How ever she is not an emotionless person-it just takes a lot to get a strong reaction out of her.))

✿ - Happy headcanon

((U h…frick this is a hard one. Idk if this is a happy headcanon but when ever she gets a chance Dana goes to the animal shelter and plays with the dogs. It makes her really happy to be around them. (Her apartment doesn’t allow pets or else she’d adopt one or two))) 

● - Sad headcanon

((Again-Idk if this constitutes as sad. Dana doesn’t take all that great care of herself in order to get more work done. This is a reason she is rather skinny (other than being naturally slender). Some days all she eats is coffee and maybe a doughnut or biscuit. She honestly doesn’t see the point of trying to take care of herself at the moment because the way she sees it-the chances of her dying before finishing the internship are extremely high. So she figures she should get as much done as possible.))

((I’m not too sure what a painful headcanon is…if someone could clarify I’ll give you one.))

♒ - Family headcanon

((Dana is the only child of a single mother and never had much contact with her father. She never really minded that though-as her mother loves her dearly.))

☮ - Friendship headcanon

((Dana doesn’t consider herself friends with people very quickly. It takes a while for her to completely warm up to people (which is hard to tell considering she’s pretty friendly in general), but once she does she is fiercely loyal.))

▼ - Childhood headcanon

((She played by herself a lot when she was younger. Drawing in the sand or exploring Night Vale. She’d often wander off and nearly give her mother a heart attack if she was out too long.))

∇ - Old age headcanon

((She’d be an action grandma. “What’s that pumpkin  That Jimmy asshole took your lunch. Where is he I’ll show him what’s what!” *loads shotgun* “Granny Dana no!”))

☄ - Food headcanon

((Though coffee is her favorite thing ever-she really enjoys caramel dishes and Mediterranean foods. She’s also a pretty good cook in general.))

★ - Education headcanon

The small store room was stuffy and hot, the young intern could feel the sweat begin to soak into her sports bra and shirt. Her brown eyes were constantly dodging around-looking. Looking for something.

Her hoodie was tied around her waist as her grip on the kitchen knife tightened. Her eyes still darting around. A mad grin on her face. Suddenly-an ill timed shadow moved and she lunged.

The blade sunk into the flesh and through the bone of the large rat as the creature let out a pained monstrous noise before quiting for good. 

Dana stood up, her smile even wider as she held up the rat that rested soundly on her blade. Oooo-this was a big one! She pulled it off and tossed it into the basket with the other dead rats as she began to look for more.
