Turkesa sat down as he looked at the two, Nero, and Hallie. Heās never really met the two, and has seen them on occasion, but now that death threats were being thrown around; he had decided now might be a time to step in and figure out just what is going on. Which was why he had asked Hallie and Nero to the place they are now.
āNowā¦ Iām relatively new hereā¦ and, I havenāt exactly meet either of you formerly yet; but the Super Robot doesnāt exactly have thin walls soā¦ Iām Turkesa, and I donāt want a fight, or arguement, or any of that drama. I just wanna sit down and ask; what is going on? What happened? I can assume it might have something to do with a past relationship you two have or had, but to threaten to kill each other? Weāre suppose to be a family here, and families donāt try to kill each other no matter what. So tell me why is it that you seem to hate each other so much?ā He had asked, his voice was calm, quiet, yet commanding and firm, like nothing could convinced him to leave this subject alone unless he decided to, which was the case.
To answer your question in the shortest way possible, we did have a relationship in which we produced a child, but things were getting tense in the relationship. The issues were not caused by the kid in any way, rather they were caused by Neroās family (who all are half-demons), mostly Neil. At one point in his life, Neil, who was evil at the time, nearly killed Nero and I, being the loving and caring girlfriend I was, fought off Neil for this. I havenāt forgave him since, despite the fact that Neil tries to make amends with me and Nero tries to assure me that Neil has changed. This, along with other issues, made me think that I was responsible for all of the problems and I called off the relationship in hopes of trying to make things better. It clearly didnāt work.
Turkesa gave a nod, looking down as he thought about what was said before looking over at Nero.
āNero? Are there any objections or things you want to say?ā The turquoise monkey asked raising an eyebrow at the other monkey.
Nero sat back in the chair and crossed his arms āLook. My brother and I did things..ā he trailed off and looked down. āThat we both arenāt proud of. We both werent good people and we made bad decisions. But that doesnt mean that we havenāt bettered ourselves. Neil did hurt both of us, but heās changed just as much as I have. Hes become one person I can confide in. Hes part of my world and she still continues to treat him like dirt.ā Nero didnt look at Hallie when he spoke āIāve changed in the last few years. Im not as impulsive and reckless as I used to be. Im trying to forgive those that have hurt me and move on. I just feel like I cant forgive herā
Turkesa watched Nero, feeling a sense of familiarity when the other monkey spoke of past unjust deeds and how he, and his brother, are trying to better themselves now, as is his son. It was then Turkesa remembered Ottoās descripsion of Mandarin, and the relationship the mechanic had with the former leader. Sighing, Turkesa knew this situation was going to be tricky. Glancing at Nero for a moment, Turkesa gave a nod before looking at Hallie.
āAnd do you treat Neil that way Hallie? If so why?ā Came the psychokineticās question.
I treat Neil the way he has first treated me. I go by peopleās first impressions. I Neilās case, he hurt Nero when I first met them and I will never be able to forgive Neil for doing that to Nero.

Turkesa sighed as he thought of his response, and the answer didnāt take long to come to his head, the psychokinetic then planted his hand on the table in front of him hard enough to gain both monkeyās attention. A firm and serious expression on his face.
āThis is going to be a little difficultā¦ fuck it, this is going to be hard. Drop it; the grudge, the stubborness, the emotions; take it all, and just throw it out the nearest window. Down into a damn incinerator if you have to, these emotions are whatās keeping both of you from solving your issues and mending your relationship, whether its back into a romantic one, or just a family one. Now Iām not saying not to feel, youāre going to feel anger, sadness, and all those involved, itās natural. What I am saying, is when itās time to make a decision like this; donāt let them get in the way. Get rid of them, push them away, look at this situation in its entirety, from all points of veiw, and ask yourselves; why?ā Turkesa looked at Nero.
āHonestly ask, why canāt you forgive her? What has she done to you, not your brother, you, to keep you from doing so? Has the thought ever occured that, if you forgave her, reconnected with her, maybe it could be the begining of solving your issues?ā He then turned his gaze to Hallie.
āAnd you, Why canāt you give a second chance? I am very much a first impression person myself, but I am willing to give a second chance, especially if the person says, and shows theyāve changed. Why canāt you? Whatās wrong with a second impression? Have you ever thought doing so could result in you discovering something you didnāt see before? Whether for better, or for worse?ā Turkesa actually had more to say, but had decided to keep quiet and let what he has said sink in, and see the results. Hoping for the best, while preparing for the worst.

*thinks back to childhood* There was one time that I did give someone a second chance. *looks at Nero* You need to listen to this because I never told you this before. When I was being upgraded, my father, Lord Scrapperton was starting his transformation into a robot because of the problems he caused the whole family. Once the upgrades and transformations were over, my mother told me to give him a second chance in trying to be a loving father. As a good daughter, I complied until THAT day. My father forced my mother into his laboratory to do an experiment on her; I just happened to be in the labratory, far enough away from them. I saw my father set up the experiment and prepare my mother. During the set up process, I noticed my father messing with something on the machine that I knew did not need fixed (I glanced over at the machine before his test runs to make sure everything was ok). Once he fired up the machine, it started to malfunction and explode, killing my mother. It was at that moment I knew that I could never trust a second impression.
Turkesa blinked hearing the story from Hallie? Wasnāt this personal? Shouldnāt she have told Nero this in private? The turquoise monkey wasnāt exactly sure why Hallie had decided to share what must be sensitive information. But chose to remove it from mind, and instead, pay attention to Neroās reaction to the reveal.
Nero looked at Hallie "Answer me this. Is Neil your shitty father? Does he have anything to do with him? Why do you constantly compare things to your past when theres so much thats different in the future" Nero looked away "i cant figure you out. It annoys me."
