Jake steps forward. "I'll gladly take Sunny's place, if you'll allow it. However, as you see, I don't have a deck on me - and no deck means no Duel. Got any loaners?"

"Of course I have an extra or seven."

-Theo snaps his fingers, and a red Duel Runner with a deck and Duel Disk pre-loaded appears from the ground via an elevator-

"Here, this loaner should work. It's one I tend to practice with sometimes."

"...heh. A deck that would make Yusei Fudo proud, I see. Yeah, I oughta be able to work with this..."

Satisfied with what he sees, he turns his attention to Theo.

"So... ready to rev it up?"

"You know it!"

-Theo revs his runner's engine and speeds off to the starting line, gesturing Jake to follow him-

"And countdown!"

-The crowd cheers as a holographic display appears before the two-

"THREE... TWO... ONE... DUEL!"

-An announcer speaks up-

"AND THEY'RE OFF!"

Soyi looks over to Jake, raising an eyebrow. "Well? Whaddaya say?"

Satisfied with what he sees, he turns his attention to Theo.

"So... ready to rev it up?"

"LAAAADDDIIEEESSSS, GENTLEMEN, AND EVERYBODY OF ALL IDENTITIES! OUR NEWEST CHALLENGER HAS FINALLY ARRIVED TO TAKE ON OUR CHAMPION!"

-The sound of revving grows louder as Theo drives into the center of the track, skidding to a halt in the middle of a spotlight.-

"THEODORE WILLIAMMSSSSS!!!"

-The sounds of a crowd cheering fills the room. Everybody is super excited to see their idol pose triumphantly, yet waiting in anticipation for the duel to begin-

"ALLLLLRIGHT! Hello, one and all to the 476th annual one-off duel festival! Many have attempted to take me down, but none have stood the test! And while I don't expect that to change, I *can* say we have a super special duel planned for you tonight! A challenger from an entirely other universe!"

"Who knows that other-worldly tactics they have up their sleeve? I sure don't! But here's something we CAN figure RIGHT NOW! ARE! YOU! READY?!"

-The crowd's cheers uproar spectacularly as a spotlight appears a couple feet in front of Sunny-

"Now! Will our new challenger step up so everybody can get a good look at 'em?"

-Theo sticks his hand out towards the spotlight, gesturing towards it-

"Firstly, these are not teleporters. We did not want to deal with the dilemma of "being disassembled and a copy being made with exact memories," they're wormhole generators. And no, they wont feel weird. Its the same technology that you used to get here in the first place."

"Nah, no regimen. I call it 'Fuck around for a few hours doing dumb shit until I get bored'."

-Theo snaps his fingers and makes finger guns at everybody while walking onto the pad, warping him into the Arena-
