It doesnât take long for the fox to snap out of his confusion, though, as he is soon writhing to get the pesky cat off of him.
âThe HECK do ya think youâre doinâ, ya weirdo?!â He snaps, ears pinned to his head and face flushed with embarrassment over the fact he didnât hear his mysterious attacker coming. âGet offa me!â
âWell, Fox ânot with tha âjumpinâ on people as a helloâ timesâ ler, I couldnât be happier to make your acquaintance. And I have, in fact, met many a person by getting bored and jumping on them. You should try it some time~ââ
Kit looks the other over appraisingly before glancing back up. âAnd you are cute, though Iâm afraid I find puppies, and dogs in general, to be the exact opposite.â
Kit plops down onto the ground, seemingly unaffected by the otherâs attitude. âI think the cuteness is definitely the accent and tail~ You really canât hide your emotions from that thing, can you~?â

When the attention was turned on his tail, he couldnât help but allow his eyes to wander and glance to the fluffy appendage, which was slowly beginning to settle after all the excitement.
âUh⌠nah, I guess not. Kinda acts like one of those weird mood rings. Still donât understand it, jusâ kinda does itâs own thing.â
He then scowls again, though this time it was much more exaggerated to pinpoint the fact that he was attempting to make a joke out of it, for his own sake.
âLike fluffinâ up when someone attacks me outta tha blue!â

âNeed to learn how to control these these things, love~â Kit folds his ears into his hair, his tail sliding itself into his shirt to make him look misty human as he stands up.
âThings like that tend to help~â
âYouâre bellâs gotta be broken, then, âcause I didnât hear it at all!â The fox quips insistently, not ready to accept that he was easily caught off_guard even though the person who jumped him was wearing something that could easily have given him away.
He watches the other hide his cat-like appendages, admittedly impressed by how easily he hid them; however, the question just made him scrunch his brow in confusion.
âWhy would I need ta do that?â He inquires, âI donâ need ta hide it or strap it down! It does jusâ fine!â
âWell... it knocked over a few cups here and there, but that was jusâ operator error!â

The whole idea of a tiny super powered deer tick thingy was already so zany and exciting to him, was it really any surprise that the offer was responded to with such a vigorous nod?

Proton : Hehehe, alright. *two small vi es extend from the spots on her back* This is a Vine Whip attack, and all I have to do is run a charge through them like this. *sends electricity through the vines, making them glow and spark* Now theyâre electrified. *vines stop glowing and retract back into the spots on her back* Whatcha think? Cool?
The fox seems somewhat startled when the little spots reveal themselves to be something like little vine holders, having assumed them just to be little spot patterns on her. However, surprise quickly returns to amazement as sparks begin to fly and the little vines light up with the energy of the electricity.

âW-well, I was distracted!â He quipped insistently, the weight of the other lowering themselves onto him earning them a frustrated pout. âAnâ I donât exactly keep an eye out for creeps lookinâ ta knock me over!â
It crossed his mind that he really SHOULD be looking out for people like that, considering this is the second person whoâs gone and attacked him. But he didnât need to know that.
It was then that he noticed the tail and the ears of this new stranger, the bell comment suddenly making a lot more sense. This person wasnât just a person. He was also a feline. And that somehow made things worse for himâŚ. werenât foxes known to eat cats? How in the world did he, a FOX, manage to be pounced on by a CAT? Wasnât HE technically supposed to be the predator here?!
He pouted for just a few moments longer before he finally decided to take action; rolling himself and therefore the person on top of him over to free himself of his bored assailant.
Kit lazily rolls with him, continuing the momentum so that he ends up on top of him again. âYouâd have to try better than that, Dearie~â It was almost sad, he obviously had no idea how to dislodge Kit, and the years of experience probably had a factor in it.
Taking pity on him Kit jumps off, standing up to calmly brush off his shorts and tanktop, a much more casual outfit than the one in front of him. âGood effort~! Though that wouldnât dislodge a determined 6 year old, Dearie~â
Kit seems completely civil now, his mood having switched drastically so that it almost feels like he never pounced the man in the first place.
