Why is Weed blue when Gin is silver? Weed has always been described as looking exactly like Gin but without scars. :/

Answer: For the same reason that Hakuro was made brown in the GNG anime: to make them clearly distinguishable as different characters.

In any case, even in the manga they are not actually exactly the same.

Weed has a screen-tone on his fur, making it darker than Gin’s. In most manga images, the exact placement of Gin’s forehead spots is noticeably different from Weed’s.

Gin’s touch the white blaze between them, and Weed’s do not.

I had a minute to spare today, and figured why not do a color palette thing? They’re fun and relaxing!
