I loveee fantasy settings doing magical exhaustion:

So thankfully another year has passed with no Green Goblin.. but even so, the fact that Harry and I always have to ensure he doesn’t re-enter our world is tiring enough. And that is before all the Gobby-wannabes and the… what I can only describe as “cultists”.. come crawling out of the woodwork.

Said cultists seem to want the Green Goblin to reinstate his eternal Halloween party again..

Speaking of the latter, it feels like these cultists are popping up more every year. Not by much, mind you, but their numbers are increasing every year, ever so slightly. We’re all worried.
