What is this:

This is a plot based, interactive story telling ask blog. I decide the direction that the story will go based on the asks that I receive

I will not spoil exactly where/when this takes place as there are hints to that, but this is an AU version of the game meaning not all information will be 100% in game accurate

If asked questions that have no canon answers I will come up with my own answer based on theories/headcanons I have

Things to Note:

Episodes/posts typically contain information relevant to previous episodes, these will be tagged #plot maru ; those that don’t will be tagged #add maru or #fun maru, see my tagging guide for details (I’ll figure out how to link it)

Ranmaru’s opinions on characters are not necessarily my opinions; I will have him view a character how I believe that my version of Ranmaru would see and think about them

Ranmaru’s hallucination is not meant to be an accurate representation of Hallucinations, but sort of his brain visualizing the dark thoughts that he has in form of hallucinations; do not use this blog to teach you about how hallucinations work

I’m not opposed to other ask blogs interacting with me, just keep in mind that there is an established canon and characters I often use besides Ranmaru, usually Shin and Joe, but recently Kanna and Gin. I’d be willing to let other ask blogs interact as long as it’s made clear that the characters are from a different timeline, that could be cool!

Current plot points: (Shin Arc)

Ranmaru is talking to Shin about Sara

He brought up Kanna, which was a sensitive topic

His hallucinations are having a field day taunting him about his dislike for Shin

“Are we okay? Why do you ask? I mean, as okay as we can be.”

“Y’know, I was thinking we should return to uh, a certain room.” - Shin

What does that mean?

“Yeah, meow!” - Gin

“You know the Joe AI? He’s probably pretty lonely, nowadays.” - Shin

“What? You uh, wanna talk to him? Don’t you have your own malicious one, or whatever?”

“Kanna wants to talk to Joe!” - Kanna

“Oh, um… yeah. The Kanna AI is portable. Um…” Ranmaru looks at the ground.

“Shin gives an amused look. “Scared to talk to your boyfriend again?” - Shin

Ranmaru growls, his face turning red. “How do you even know about our interactions?”

Shin stares at the ground.

“Uh, next question.”

“What was it?”

Shin looks directly at Ranmaru.

“I feel you would be better off not knowing.”

“Was it that bad, meow?”

“Just strange.”

Ranmaru stands up, stretching.

“I feel like I’ve been zoning out a bit.”

“Oh, meta!”

‘Shut up.’

“Is that Kanna AI portable?”

“Kanna is! Sou told Kanna.”

(You wanted an ominous ask you get one )

/Shin narrows his eyes. He laughs bitterly./

Yes. Lovely.

Heh… what does this mean? What do you mean? You’re confusing me…

Huh— what? Me? Oh, I’m fine! Haha… — Ranmaru
