This blog is a project for Austral and Callista's Social Media Marketing class. Being roommates, it was natural they would collaborate on the project... but are they the only ones working on it?

Even though I spend most of the time rehearsing with the other Archangel girls, it's nice to do some things outside of rehearsal. I didn't mention all of my hobbies, but being an idol whose performances include a lot of magic, it's important to practice, even during off time. I didn't even realize my hair ran out of pigment! Nobody minds that it's worn off, though, do you? But the contacts stay on during filming, of course.

Sometimes I forget this is a school project as well. And, honestly, I'm a bit surprised my PR rep hasn't said anything about the blog yet. Maybe he doesn't know this blog is a thing.

Isn’t it typically considered rude to point out people’s eye bags? That’s what I have been told, anyway. It’s alright, though. I’m sure you didn't mean anything by it.

okey, gonna be honest with you! i did NOT see her in frame. also i have no clue why she was looking at a blank wall and got so mad at me :( i'm gonna have to banish her to nap time if this keeps up like this :P

I would ask you to ease up on the personal questions, but maybe this is a good thing. I can get practice presenting myself to a wider audience. Callista is always talking about stuff like that.

so if you lovelies don't recognize me, i'm elise labelle, aka callista of hearts, from the girl group: archangels! crazy, right?? austral and i decided to start this blog together for some extra credit. idk why though, since austral is already crazy smart and probably has 110% in our marketing class.

so about me, i'm callista! little ol' 20 y/o idol out on her own in ULS. i like drawing and singing and dancing and bunnies and cats and birds! and the color pink, obvi. this school actually has a crazy good performing arts program for idols, which is why i'm here. DON'T GO LOOKING FOR MY DORM ROOM! it's not that i don't love you! but the halls have security cams and i don't kiss stalkers <3

I look forward to learning more about social media management through this project. Please excuse Callista's lack of professionalism, we are working on it.

Can I make fanart?

How can I tell who’s talking?

Like us mods do, the characters will sign the posts. This mostly applies to the written portions!

Can I ship your characters?

Mmmmm maybe. With future introduced characters, sure, go wild! I'm iffy about Callista but just don't make it too suggestive lol

Will you draw/answer everything I ask? Anything?

Unfortunately, nnnnnno. I've got some question boundaries! (However, unlike Briar's posts, Callie loves some flattery. Just make sure to direct that towards her. The story doesn't have much to do with romance, though, so beware your advances will likely be rejected!)

I will not respond to asks if:

They contain explicitly sexual references towards the characters

Sometimes I don’t recognize these, and they go over my head. You still won’t get the response you want, sorry! SFW compliments are fine :]

They contain references to drugs/alcohol

Questions like: “Omg [character] r u high rn?” or “Does [character] like drinking?” The answer will always be no. These topics make me extremely uncomfortable, so please don’t.

They are made with the intent of getting art of your OC.

Questions such as “*boops [character] on the nose*” or “Hi, I’m here to give you a hug!” might not be responded to or drawn for. I love your OCs, I really do! And I love interacting with you all. But I can’t draw for everyone, and it feels a little rude to simply ask for the sake of free art. I will draw your OC if I want to, but I hold no obligation.

This includes giving the characters items or forcing interaction. Again, I appreciate the attention, but I’m not too interested in these sorts of interactions.

Side note: this also includes attempts to arrest/capture a character. I’ve gotten and deleted far too many of these.

They’re just bullying!

Saying overtly mean-spirited things about the characters is just not the vibe. Making comments in a mean-spirited manner will be deleted. (asks tagged with the tone indicator /lh don’t count though! Light teasing is fine.)

They promote your own blogs/socials.

As much as I love seeing your OCs, don’t forget that this blog is about mine and Briar's characters.

Questions like: “Hi, this is my oc! Do you like them?” or “You can ask me questions if you want” will be deleted.

That being said, if I do draw something for you (whether it be fanart or a response to an ask), you are not obligated to draw for me in return!

Anon asks, absolutely. DMs and messages you can certainly try, but I can’t promise I’ll respond!

PLEASE I would be indebted to you forever (not literally but I would be so very happy). Just no NSFW and we’re golden

Go nuts. Go crazy. Go stupid. Go bananas. (Yes)

How can I tell who’s talking?

My characters will sign off on each post that they make! If there are multiple people speaking in a post, there will be multiple sign offs.

Can I ship your characters?

No. I am super uncomfortable with both Austral and Boreal being shipped with anyone. Even though they’re their own characters at this point, they still started off as a representation of me, and I am not okay with them being shipped with anyone.

Will you draw/answer everything I ask? Anything?

Obviously not lol. As nice as it would be to respond to everyone who comes across this blog, I have time constraints and personal boundaries. Plus, most of the work for this blog should be credited to Doe—I’m less likely to draw and post responses myself, to begin with. That being said, there are some asks I will never respond to.

I will not respond to asks if:

They contain flirting (sexual or romantic)

As stated earlier, I am not comfortable with shipping Austral or Boreal. Any ask that I feel comes across as flirting will most likely be ignored. Respectfully, that’s not what their story is about lol

They ask for personal information about myself (Mod Briar)

While I am open to answering asks about the story and even some non-sensitive info about myself, my personal information is off-limits!

They are fishing for free art

I’m not normally going to be the one drawing responses, but if you send in an ask that doesn’t contribute much to the story or have much substance, and is just fishing for art of ocs, I’m just going to ignore it lol

They are rude, demanding, etc

Don’t be a jerk! If you’re mean you’re probably also just going to get ignored lol. To avoid accidentally coming across as rude, consider using tone tags like /lh (lighthearted) or /nm (not mad)! 

They have nothing to do with the blog

This includes asks promoting your own blog and not actually interacting with ours—I’m sure your blog is great, but self-promotion is not the vibe over here! This also includes asks that are just wholly unrelated to the characters or the mods. I don’t really have any examples in mind, this just feels like common sense

I hope this doesn’t come across as super rude or overly strict or anything, basically just be polite and respectful, and don’t ship my characters, and we’re good LOL

Hi, I'm Mod Doe! Nice to meet you. My pronouns are she/her. I usually spend my time drawing and writing, and also enjoy playing video games. I'm currently a college student, hoping to make art my full time career. I'm mostly in charge of Callista; she started as a villain-sona, but evolved into her own character over time. Briar and I have been working on this story for such a long time together. This project is so much fun, and I can't wait to share it!

Callista, also known as Elise Labelle, is a full-time pop idol and college student. She loves what she does, even if her body disagrees sometimes, but still tries to take her education seriously on top of it. She also has merch for sale!
