Creation of the Bane, Proud Son of Sarah Jane

The boy was unquestioning at first, and only seemed to ask once it had become a curiosity. Yet nothing about why this stranger needed to know the date. But that of if the date was important. His reasoning seemed quite different to that of most humans he’d ever encountered in his life, and so The Doctor became quite intrigued. “No, not really. I just lost my bearings there for a moment. You know how it is, sometimes you just drift away. Sorry.”

From the window of her home, the vampire watched as a taxi pulled up her street, to her surprise, and a figure stepped out. Male, most certainly lost. Poor boy, she couldn’t help but feel pity as she made her way out the door and out on the sidewalk

"...Fright side?" Luke had never even heard of such a place, he placed his hands on his hips and huffed out slightly. He'd never even heard of such a place. Why was he dropped off here when he told the taxi driver that he needed to get to a place in suburban London?

Susan didn’t have much experience with the whole ‘college life’ thing, but she’d always been meaning to check out a campus. Sure, she didn’t finish her high school life, but if she did, she most defiantly would’ve wound up in a place like Oxford University. As the blonde looked around the semi-empty hallways, peaking into a few class rooms, she noticed someone across the hallway writing something on the board. She didn’t really think that someone should be doing that, but hell if she could do anything about it.

Luke lowered his pen to the side slowly and then looked over to the notice board, and then back to the girl. "...Spell checking." Luke responded quietly, biting his lip and then curling up in a ball inside. He guessed the correct answer would have been drawing small doodles of a genitalia on the wall, or cussing on the wall. But no, he had to say the truth. "I just... noticed some things when I was looking them over and..." Luke laughed nervously and then took a step back."Sorry."

She gave a nod in agreement. Not even in her planet was it a key to trust, but perhaps on Earth things were different, which was highly likely. “Yes, I…suppose I am. Sparkling.” Eldrad stole a glance at her arm and the edges of her mouth twitched. Sparkling, indeed, though mainly in the light.

"It's a pleasure, Eldrad. And yes." Luke nodded softly in confirmation. "Well... Not... really through genetic DNA or such, she adopted me. I'm her son." The boy couldn't help but wonder how Eldrad knew his mum. Perhaps she was a creature that Sarah Jane had met in her travelling days with the doctor.
