I agree with y'all's assessment.

There's a reason why there's a lot of / big market? for Y/N x Fresh and that's because generally he is the sweetest (and scariest kinda haha)

Fresh is the king and he's always wanted someone he can spoil since tbh he could get anything (not just bc he's king I mean look at him), and he wants to give them just about anything.

Him also being SMOL BOI uwu, he cannot do chivalrous stuff like holding the door open bc he smol, so he also loves to show love in all the ways that he can rather than focus on what he can't do!

(he is canonically strong but uh that door size might not fare well and it depends on the door sometimes. It's a sheer size and dimension difference thing. tbh it sounds like an inconsistency and I'm sorry, still working out the abilities stuffses)

He also doesn't want to have any kinda political only marriage, he did it for love, not just because Cross is a noble.

CROSS'S EXPLANATION:

He everyday is grateful to have Fresh, and he does his best to show Fresh an equal or higher amount of affection and care. Like any marriage, they kind of complete each other, for example, Cross can open the doors for Fresh.

And Cross loves his smol hubby, and does want to help him do anything he might not be able to. Fresh is also one of the nobles that aren't just after his strength or skills, or even status (lol his status is higher so yknow), and showed genuine interest about him and his passions! Cross also reciprocated interest in Fresh and his hobbies respectively.

Fresh also talks both casually and dignified/fancy. He's not afraid to tell someone something like "As lovely as it is to be able to talk face to face, please stop bowing, you will hurt yourself, and we are just two people conversing here, not just on business or official matters." They both hate the fake stuff and over the top things that some have to do, when it is a time that it isn't actually necessary. The fancy part though, he can be a wordsmith.. he definitely knows what he talks about most of the time too. Even though both of them aren't able to verbally articulate how much they care most of the time, lol. Too busy in their moments/time and day to day life together, living their love

yeah tbh there's a lot of this that isn't just the individual's reason and supports both so yeah they're cute together
