8. On your wrist you are born with a number. This is the amount of times you and your mate will see each other before you actually meet.

9. Your favorite outfit will be the one you meet your mate in.

Ha I saw that too, and yes that would be something they would do. Despite the both of them being very well attuned to nature, getting lost seems pretty ridiculous. However, I enjoy picking on HW and sometimes she needs to be knocked down a peg.

JP watched her go for a moment, standing in the middle of her jungle as the very stubborn hunter looked around, touched, analyzed the position of the sun, using every tracking trick she knew. But…

Jungle Princess turned around just in time to be flung backwards by some mysterious force that attached itself to her face.

"Ack! H-hey!" Reaching up, she ripped the fuzzy thing from her face and held it out in front of her. 

"SKREESKREESKREEE!!"

She blinked in confusion, realizing it was one of her subjects, a small monkey looking utterly terrified out of his little mind as he wiggled and screamed in her grasp. 

"Shh shhh what’s wrong little one?" she cooed gently but trailed off as she realized there was something on her furry friend. He hopped out of her grasped and climbed across her arm, resting on her shoulder as she examined the slimey slick film that was now on her hands.  

She brought her arm up, allowing him to sit there while she examined him, he whimpered, holding onto himself as he shook, “What is this? What happened?” 

Of course, the Jungle Princess understood every language of every animal. However she blinked in confusion, as the monkey screeched and pointed in deep into the jungle.  

"I’m sorry…but…did you say…a deer?"

"So! I hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend because now it’s time to prepare for midterms!" the teacher announced.

The class groaned in uniform save for June, who was up in front, her notes and book out ready for the beginning of Biology class.

She ignored her classmates and began to jot down the preset notes on the board. Nearly every single person in this class didn’t want to be here, Biology was a general class, nobody liked it but it was one of the required courses to move on to other things.

But June was a Biology major, and loved every single minute of it.

"So let’s review where most of you have had trouble, most specifically chapter …." the teacher suddenly stopped, June looked up to find him staring upwards. The class was huge, set in a theater style, the back row was higher up where he could easily see everyone’s eyes. However the student he was staring at, had her eyes closed.

"Hunter?" he called out.

Eight months, two weeks, and four days.

Glob only knows the hours, minutes, even seconds!

No matter, because it was definitely worth the wait. It takes quite a bit of time to grow something special like this, after all.

Not to mention the six years of hinting at it, talking it over all hours of more than one night, yes, no, are you being serious right now? Eventually, JP and Huntress agreed. This was long overdue.

“You’re absolutely sure this is going to work?” The princess questioned.

Speaking of hell, its freaking hot.  But of course it is, it’s nearly the end of the semester with summer is well on its way and the weather was definitely an indicator of that. One of these days I’ll bring one of those giant picnic umbrellas out here. Not a tree or building tall enough to provide any kind of shade.  I’m not exactly one to tan very well, and as such I try to keep my awesome old hoodie on as much as possible but… FWIP "Damn…" Wow, not even close. The sweat beading over my brows and hoodie sticking to my skin is getting too distracting.  But….

Beakers, numbers, solutions.

The clean disinfected tables and white walls made her anxious, out of place. She needed fresh air and dirt. But the general education requirement demanded a lab class, one long stressful week of trying to add a lab of a more outdoorsy kind but it was packed to capacity, thus June was stuck with a three hour lab class to meet the requirement and graduate on time. All she could do was thank her lucky stars it was one day a week. 

She let out a long sigh and plopped in her seat, her bag thrown pathetically on top of the table, which she forgot to close completely, sending her pencil over the edge of the table. She rolled her eyes and hopped out of her set to retrieve it. Bending down to scoop up the small pencil with tiger prints, she stood up and stopped for a moment.

That’s when she realized a familiar hooded figure was sitting in the back.
