*avian sans walked into the place and sat down*
“got any ranch?..”
*he smiled*
*Grillby hands the skeleton some ranch*
*he just downs the bottle of ranch and gives a thumbs up*
*Grillby sort of just stares at him for a moment before moving to another room*

There was a skeleton wandering late at night through Snowdin. Due to the direction they were walking in, they seemed to have originally come from Waterfall.
Their wings and back pressed against the window of Grillby’s pub before they sat down in the snow, seemingly spaced out a little.
-@voidfallen-skeleton
*Grillby takes notice of the stranger, deciding to bring them inside. Walking out of the bar next to the unfamiliar person*
"Hey, are you doing okay..?"
*He doesn't move to touch him but standing close so they can use him to warm up if need be*
Gaster looks down at themselves for a second before looking at Grillby.
They don’t say anything for a second. Then they spoke softly.
“Don’t know…”
*Grillby crouches down next to him, holding out a hand to the stranger*
"How about we go inside? Where it is warm."
“…Warm?”
He stared at his hand for a second before touching it, pausing for a second at how warm it was.
He hadn’t felt that level of warmth in a while…
He then slowly moved his hand more and grabbed it properly.
“Ok…”
*Grillby brings the skeleton into the bar*
"Are you thirsty or anything I could get for you?"
Gaster folded his wings a little as he sat down at the bar, keeping his hands on his lap for now as he glanced around a little for a moment.
”…What do you have?”
"I have alcohol, fries, burgers, juice, hot dogs, and many more"
*Grillby slides the skeleton a menu with everything on it*
Gaster looked over the menu, with something eventually catching his attention.
“…Can I have hot chocolate?”
"Of course. I will be right back."
*Grillby heads into the back to go make the skeleton a hot chocolate. Returning with a hot chocolate*
"Here you are."
”…Thank you.”
Gaster slowly grabs the mug with two hands, looking down at the drink for a moment before slowly taking a small sip.
"Might I what your name is stranger?"
*The elemental cocks his head to the side partly*
He set down the mug, looking at it for a moment before looking at the elemental. It took him a second to answer. As he did, he spoke softly.
“…Gaster.”
"It is lovely to meet you, Gaster."
*Grillby makes a soft nod towards Gaster*
He copied the soft nod a little before taking another small sip of his hot chocolate.
When he set the mug back down, he softly spoke again.
“….What is your name?”
"My name is Grillby, how is the hot chocolate?"
“…It’s nice.”
He took another sip.
"Wonderful, now might I ask where you live? I have never seen you around and Snowdin isn't that big, so I presume out of town?"
*He makes a pause before realizing how that sounds*
"You do not need to tell me if you do not wish of course."
Gaster thought it over for a moment before responding.
“…Waterfall.”
"I have heard that place is wonderful, even if I can't go. Sometimes the one kid will appear and tell me about it."
”It’s calm there…”
*Grillby hums*
"That sounds lovely."
“Quiet…”
His wings moved slightly, opening just a little before folding against his back again.
He took another sip of his hot chocolate.
"Might I ask what brings you to Snowdin? No need to answer if you do not wish."
”Not sure…”
He looked down into his hot chocolate for a second before drinking more of it.
"Oh? Were you forced, or told to come here? Are you lost?"
“Not told... Lost? No…”
He took another sip.
“Just walking…”
He had been a bit quiet on the way here. Shadows filling his mind. Guess it might have been just a walk.
"Anywhere you plan on going? Not much farther up from here."
“Going to go back…”
"Alright, if you ever want to visit for anything, a drink, food, anything you know where to find me as I will always be here."
”Thank you…”
He continued to sit there, drinking more of hot chocolate. Now that it was cooled down enough, he seemed to be taking bigger sips.
"Any time, Gaster."
He sat in the quiet for a while, continuing to drink his hot chocolate.
Eventually, he finished it, setting the empty mug down on the bar.
*Grillby waits a moment before taking it so he could clean it*
Gaster glanced around a little, not exactly sure what to do now.
He should probably leave, shouldn’t he?
It’s warm in here though…
"Stay as long as you wish, will not be the first nor last to stay here due to how warm it is in here compared to outside."
*Grillby softly invites him to stay for a while if needed*
”Oh… Thank you…”
He put his hands on his lap.
Staying in the warmth of this place was nice, but just sitting here in silence felt… weird.
"So, what is life in waterfalls like?"
*Grillby breaks away from silence*
“It’s nice… Going through water is something to get used to… the flowers are nice too…”
"I heard the flowers echo monsters who speak near them, that sounds very lovely at the same time could be bad if telling a secret."
“The flowers do echo. I’ve listened to one before…”
"That sounds lovely, I always wished to see one but never got to due to, well fire and water not mixing."
“I could bring one? If I had something to put it in…”
"If possible, we could put it in a left-over barrel, I have several. Also thank you."
”You’re welcome. How big is the barrel?”
*He makes a gesture to the barrels behind him*
"Exactly like these ones."
”Those seem fine…”
He sat up from the stool, adjusting his wings a little.
"That is wonderful."
”Should I grab the barrel? Or will you?”
"I am unable to go into the waterfalls sadly, though if there are any near the border, I might be able to even if not too long. I can hold the barrel."
”You have to walk for a bit to find a flower. It might be best if I go alone, and you stay here…”
"Ah, alright thank you. Even if I cannot be much help with this."
”It’s fine. I wouldn’t want you to accidentally get hurt.”
"I appreciate that."
Once Grillby handed him the barrel, he started walking towards the door. He stopped after only a step or two though, then looked back at Grillby.
“Wait, it will need water if it’s going to stay here…”
"I can water it if I am careful, or I can ask one of my patrons to help me out if possible. They would probably be willing to help out."
“Are you sure?”
"Yes, I am sure many would be willing to help me as they would be willing as long as I pet them. A fair trade off."

There was a skeleton wandering late at night through Snowdin. Due to the direction they were walking in, they seemed to have originally come from Waterfall.
Their wings and back pressed against the window of Grillby’s pub before they sat down in the snow, seemingly spaced out a little.

There was a skeleton wandering late at night through Snowdin. Due to the direction they were walking in, they seemed to have originally come from Waterfall.
Their wings and back pressed against the window of Grillby’s pub before they sat down in the snow, seemingly spaced out a little.
