Estonia and Curonia were on Sweden's side against Denmark in the Battle of Bråvalla.

Estonia and Curonia together just walked over to Öland in 1170 and smacked Denmark in the face before looting shit and going back home.

In 1203 Estonia casually raised Danish Scania, wouldn't be surprised if Curonia was involved in this too and she just ain't mentioned.

In general there's just lots of times of Vikings attempting to conquer Estonia and failing, same with Curonia, having had Sweden achieve it once only for it to quickly end as she just yeets him right out and smacks Denmark in the face when he tries to replace Sweden.

Let's not forget that the battles during the crusade war like the Battle of Lyndanise were still very tough battles with Estonians having had the upper hand before Denmark managing to come up top. Estonia was a serious force to be reckoned with lol

Also St. George's night uprising must have been so freaking terrifying for Denmark

In general it's sad how people always overlook Baltic Vikings, or how we call em the Eastern Vikings, as Estonians and Curonians absolutely had a lot of Viking stuff going on with them. Technically they were the LAST Vikings in the world too in regards to the OG Viking age.

I've hyperfixated a lot on "Ancient" era Estonia just oh lordy was this kid quite a fella. Unfortunately the 13th century just had to end up being the worst and most scarring century of his life that brought an end to these glory days hhh

Wish people also acknowledged how Estonia would basically downright bully Sweden when they were little, yeah Sweden was the one raiding but just the constant wiping out and then successfully counter-raiding is just oh my dear mother nature someone give this child a chill pill
