◇ Deimos! ◇

Vida smiled and giggled, ruffling Deimos's hair. "Hey kiddo, your mama is still working on some orders so I'm picking you up." She explained, looking at Luna and Calida and waving. "Thank you for taking care of him for a bit, I got a bit lost again." She giggled nervously, looking back down at Deimos. "You ready to go?"

"I'm seriously going to have a talk with your teacher if they keep picking on you." Vida muttered, hugging Deimos back before looking for those double doors Luna mentioned. "See you around, Luna." Vida held her hand out for Deimos. "What did you have for lunch? If you're still hungry I can make something."

"Yeah we can heat up one of the freezer lunches. She knows more about your allergies and such more than me." Vida admittedly was doing the best to remember everything about the kid. She was doing her best (still trying to get to Celeste, girl is very guarded...) Vida walked with Deimos to the cabin, having to take her time with stairs but other than that, she was doing so much better with her knee, not having to wear her knee brace all the time but still walking with the cane.

"Cody should be back? He's started learning how to get to and from daycare to the cabin. That and Apostle's cat loves to walk with him." Vida held a finger up, indeed hearing a small bell ringing in the distance and giggling. "There they are. I know the moment he gets home he's going to want a snack and a nap. Oh! Uh- Are there any scents you are allergic too? Your mother and I are catching up on orders so we got all sorts of essential oils and scents out."

Oh if there's any ones with nuts in it I can't be around but then I think that's it.. I remember someone opened them next to me once though- Chocolate peanuts and I had to go to the infirmary. Mama doesn't know about that one.. She wasn't summoned yet.

"Thank you for telling me. I usually avoid peanuts anyways. Not my thing." She chuckled, yawning as she led Deimos down the path to her cabin. "Mary is... somewhere. He's probably in the graveyard again doing who knows what."

Vida nodded, shrugging her shoulders. "He can't leave a certain radius from his grave so he has to be somewhere." Vida commented, walking in the cabin and calling out, "Love? You home? Mary with you?" She felt a chill down her spine and before the ghost could startle her, Vida turned around and grinned. Mary huffed and crossed his arms. "You're getting no fun." They muttered, floating to follow Deimos to the tarantula tank. "Hey Deimos, how was school?" Taking this chance, Vida went to go find Estelle.

Vida gave a nervous smile and kissed Estelle's cheek. "Deimos was getting picked on again so he went to Luna's office to eat lunch. Wanted me to come pick him up." She looked at the candles and the labels being made, smiling. "Doing a good job." She mumbled, resting her chin on Estelle's shoulder.

"Could work out considering we're both working on orders. We can flip flop duties." Vida offered, knowing Estelle would probably be the better teacher out of the two of them. Vida just gets too distracted sometimes. Vida closed her eyes and smiled, leaning against Estelle. "Mary is talking to Deimos about the tarantula." She whispered.

Vida squeaked a little and chuckled, nuzzling into Estelle's neck and kissing her cheek. "How's your back feeling?" She asked quietly, glancing over at the doorway to see if everything is good. If anything was wrong, Mary would come get them. Deimos would be fine. Anything he's allergic to she has labeled specifically what it is and what it contains and Deimos does know his own allergens.

Vida nodded, glad that everything is going great with Estelle's back and wings. She hoped Estelle could possibly fly again one day. "It's been okay. Sometimes I forget I can't move too fast so it flares up now and again." She mumbled, resting her head against Estelle's shoulder. "You're a good mom." She mumbled, smiling seeing that Deimos and Mary were talking.

"Well you help me a lot with that. I wouldn't have known how to take care of a kid if it weren't for you." She admits, smiling and getting distracted by playing with Estelle's hair, running her fingers through it.

Vida smiled at the purple strands, nodding her head. "Biscotti is his little friend. He's a special cat." She whispered, kissing Estelle's cheek while she started to braid Estelle's hair. She knew that even then, the abbey was safe, especially if Apostle could still see through Biscotti, aka make sure Cody is safe. "When in doubt, Indy's pups are running around."

Mhm.. Indy's pups are lovely. I think one is being trained for Whisp? If it'll help him that is..

"Oooo that sounds sweet. I know one is attached to Lance and another is getting close to Ridley." She whispered, looking up at Estelle with a smile on her face never fading. Vida has felt the happiest with Estelle. "Glad you're doing okay." She whispered.

Vida smiled and giggled. "Your spanish is getting better." She mumbled, resting her head against Estelle's shoulder so Estelle can work. Her knee wasn't aching as much, very much improving compared to having to prop her leg up all the time.

"Hm maybe-" Vida realized the orders were majority body safe candles, giggling a little bit. "Those horny penedjos." She covered her face, giggling and looking at the order list. "Dew, Rain, Swiss, Dew, Dew... fucking hell they stocked up for the damn tour again." She mumbled, giggling and shaking her head in fake disappointment.

Vida's eyes went wide and she broke out in a fit of giggles. "That's my girl." She joked, looking at the list. "That will be a fun delivery... Calida seems a bit skittish but nice." Vida set the note aside, looking at the body safe candles. "Would you want to do that delivery when it happens or me? I know that Luna isn't quite fond of your habit accidentally sensing emotions."

"Hm. That is weird..." Vida jolted a little bit at Cody yelling, and she turned around and smiled. "Hey little one!" Vida spoke up, walking over and carefully sitting down on the floor, knowing if she tried to kneel her knee would hate her for the day. "How was daycare? You and Bodach have fun?" She asked, petting Biscotti and scratching behind his ear. The cat chirped and leaned into Vida's touch, meowing happily.

*Cody jumps off Biscotti and stands infront quite quickly signing everything he has done already today. Clearly he was excited when he pulls a card out of his bag- It's messy sure but he made it and the teachers had written "happy mothers day" on there too. He grabs the notes too that they send home with him*

Vida looked just about to tear up, smiling as she saw the mothers day cards. "Awww thank you honey." Vida gently hugged Cody, kissing the top of his head and his forehead. "Real sweet of you."

Vida smiled and nuzzled Cody, kissing her forehead again. "You did a good job with it, little one. Thank you." Vida let go of Cody, trying to get up before huffing. "Estrellaaaa." Vida whined out, lifting her arms up and making a grabby motion. "Help? Please?"

Vida stood up and brushed herself off, smiling and nodding. "Wanna put him down for a nap while I check on Deimos and Mary?" She asked, ruffling Cody's hair and smiling seeing him nuzzling up to Estelle.

Vida giggled and rolled her eyes, walking over to where Mary and Deimos were. She snorted when she saw Deimos having the tarantula out on his arm and Mary having a couple of moths floating around him. "They do like death." She muttered, holding her arm out and letting her moths just land on her arm to rest for a bit. "They follow me like crazy." Mary comments, trying to sound annoyed but failing a little when he grinned.

"Will Cobi try to eat the moths?" She asked, giggling when one of her moths crawled up to her hair and rested there, wings lightly fluttering. She end her hand out to Deimos, wishing to hold Cobi even for a little bit. While tarantulas weren't her absolute favorite, she can respect a spider.

"I used to be too." Vida admits, a little tense when Cobi crawled onto her hand but she didn't act frightened. "Used to hate how they eat bugs and such, but then I remember they eat the bugs that cause issues. Circle of life and the balance of things..." Vida giggled, tilting her head. "Jumping spiders are so cute, though. There's some that show once in a while during the fall. They make their little webs at the front door and wave at me."

"Of course he did! If I remember right, your dad snuck in a snake he found outside and Sister Imperator was NOT pleased." Vida giggled, gently petting Cobi before letting the spider crawl back back to Deimos.

Vida smiled at the purple strands, nodding her head. "Biscotti is his little friend. He's a special cat." She whispered, kissing Estelle's cheek while she started to braid Estelle's hair. She knew that even then, the abbey was safe, especially if Apostle could still see through Biscotti, aka make sure Cody is safe. "When in doubt, Indy's pups are running around."

Vida smiled and giggled. "Your spanish is getting better." She mumbled, resting her head against Estelle's shoulder so Estelle can work. Her knee wasn't aching as much, very much improving compared to having to prop her leg up all the time.

"Hm. That is weird..." Vida jolted a little bit at Cody yelling, and she turned around and smiled. "Hey little one!" Vida spoke up, walking over and carefully sitting down on the floor, knowing if she tried to kneel her knee would hate her for the day. "How was daycare? You and Bodach have fun?" She asked, petting Biscotti and scratching behind his ear. The cat chirped and leaned into Vida's touch, meowing happily.

*Cody jumps off Biscotti and stands infront quite quickly signing everything he has done already today. Clearly he was excited when he pulls a card out of his bag- It's messy sure but he made it and the teachers had written "happy mothers day" on there too. He grabs the notes too that they send home with him*

Vida looked just about to tear up, smiling as she saw the mothers day cards. "Awww thank you honey." Vida gently hugged Cody, kissing the top of his head and his forehead. "Real sweet of you."

Vida smiled and nuzzled Cody, kissing her forehead again. "You did a good job with it, little one. Thank you." Vida let go of Cody, trying to get up before huffing. "Estrellaaaa." Vida whined out, lifting her arms up and making a grabby motion. "Help? Please?"

Vida stood up and brushed herself off, smiling and nodding. "Wanna put him down for a nap while I check on Deimos and Mary?" She asked, ruffling Cody's hair and smiling seeing him nuzzling up to Estelle.

She snorted when she saw Deimos having the tarantula out on his arm and Mary having a couple of moths floating around him. "They do like death." She muttered, holding her arm out and letting her moths just land on her arm to rest for a bit. "They follow me like crazy." Mary comments, trying to sound annoyed but failing a little when he grinned.

Vida smiled and giggled, ruffling Deimos's hair. "Hey kiddo, your mama is still working on some orders so I'm picking you up." She explained, looking at Luna and Calida and waving. Vida walked with Deimos to the cabin, having to take her time with stairs but other than that, she was doing so much better with her knee, not having to wear her knee brace all the time but still walking with the cane.
