Corrupted Legends was mainly inspired by two other pokemon webcomics; Project: Magnolia by @fabledskies and Keep Out by @fenscookiecottage -- You should totally read them!
CL was created because of how much I loved the first versions of these comics from years and years ago-- the first versions aren't even on this site actually! But as both those comics grew and changed, they continued to inspire me to work on CL and to share it with the world. If it weren't for these two, I honestly wouldn'tve gone and made webcomics at all, and most of my stories and characters wouldn't exist. 😶
crystal how do you feel about dart's death?
Crystal: it's unfortunate.
skech, what was the hardest character to draw? What was the easiest to draw? What was the most fun to draw? And what was the least fun to draw?
I know this was sent just after the prologue, but I didn't draw too many characters there, so I'll include a few upcoming characters since about a fifth of chapter one is finished.
Hardest: Ollie-- we haven't met him just yet. None of the characters are TOO difficult since I've drawn them so much, but he can be harder than the others, as I do find myself making his eyes too big sometimes, and then I can't fit his face patterns or scars too well. Oops. Also his head shape annoys me.
Easiest: Thunder. His cloak covers most of his body, so I can draw him really quick.
Most fun: Mecha. I love Mecha and its design wowee. Also I think it helps that it's my girlfriend's favorite character, so I'm always excited to see her reaction to it.
Least fun: Pyre. He's just a boring, regular Flareon...
Also, funnily enough, I think Dart has the most complex design, which I DO NOT recommend if you make a comic, since he's the main character and I have to draw him A LOT. But personally I actually find him pretty easy to draw since I've drawn him for years and years. That being said, I do forget to draw his whiskers 50% of the time.

Thunder, if you got hit by thunder, will you get charged or knocked out?
Thunder: You mean lightning? If I got hit by lightning, I think I'd get healed by it, thanks to my Volt Absorb ability.
Dart you can always ask Arceus for a bike, but remember that that's not how it works, so it's better to steal a bike then ask Arceus for forgiveness
Dart: I'm not... sure about that
Thunder, what is your favorite fruit?
Thunder: Hmm.. cherries, I'd say. Especially with vanilla cream.
Dart: Dad, I thought I was your favorite fruit!
Thunder: Huh?
Thunder: Ohhh, you're right!

Crystal, I don't think creating an exact replica of a mythical Pokemon that obviously can overpower everyone and you can't control if it went rogue is a good idea, maybe add a failsafe?
Crystal: Of course that wouldn’t be a good idea, I am not a fool. And I don't need someone else telling me what to do with MY creation.

Pyre: What- what's gunpowder? Is that like flour?
dart, when all else fails your best bet is to flamethrower everything

But there was this one time, where I'd been having a really bad day, so Tempest took me outside to go look at the stars..

Dart, can you describe your "old" team? And especially the members, were they unpleasant to work with? Annoying? Boring?
Dart: I don't know them. Crystal threw us together a couple days ago 'cause all the real teams couldn't beat The Guar-- um- Thunder.
On the trip to the Shrine, Stray looked annoyed the whole time, and Pyre and Blackout only talked to each other...
