O-oh! Um-I don’t really…know what it was like. Big, I think. They had lots of spears too. I have a byzantinian spear in the back of my closet.
Fascinating, and how have those experiences in The Empire made you into the woman you are today?
They’ve…made me a stronger racer on the track..?
She is desperately confused but hiding it.
But I think that…my mother helped me become who I am far more than anyone else-or the empire.
. . . Well that is lovely. My mother also played a significant part of my life. I remember watching as she tore the throats out of her prisoners so they could not scream for help, and I remember her sewing my doll back together when she fell apart. Parents truly are incredibly important to our lives and that is why I have collected so many.

Yeah, parents really are important. Thats why I admire my mother even more for parenting me by herself. I’m sure it wasn’t easy.
We are more similar than I first thought. I was also only raised by my mother. Perhaps you too will one day die and go to hell and then come back to life as a deity.

Our first question comes to us from u/opilabird, what pressures have you felt from being the sister of the world-renowned Maruzensky? Thank you Opila Bird.
Well…of course it has its drawbacks. When I lost the Satsuki Sho, my first ever G1, I was pretty upset. The news took note of it, and they weren’t nice.
But I think…the fans were worse. I got a lot of hate online, because I just couldn’t compare with her at all. A lot of them predicted I’d quit within the month. And of course, the pressure from my trainer at the time didn’t help at all.
I was supposed to be faster than everyone, even though our running styles are completely different. I got a lot of flack for being an end closer-though during the summer months I switch to a pace chasing style.
The fact that I’m much…well, darker than Maruzensky and my father is American came up a lot. The fact that I didn’t look Japanese enough, even though I’ve only left the country for races and I’ve lived here my entire life.
There was a…small, but loud section of fans who said I was worse than Maruzen because I didn’t have the same…sigh…’sex appeal’.
The pressure from the fans is bad, but the person I got the most pressure from was…well, myself.
I grew up watching Maruzen race and race, never losing once.
She was my inspiration.
So when I lost my first G1..
I thought I could never be as good as her.
But, um, thats a little heavy! I’m sure nobody cares about that part.
I care about it. If it is any solace, I find you much more interesting than your sister. Maruzensky never lost, that means she never faced the sorrow of defeat but also that she never felt the joy of rising out of the ashes and tearing apart each and every one of her enemies limb from limb. You, on the other hand, have tasted the depths of despair, and so it will be all the more gratifying to watch you wreck your competition until they can no longer be revivified.
…Yeah.
I’ve dealt with a lot of despair, I think.
Maybe too much for my age.
But if-no, when i win, it’ll be great.
I’m coming for a G1. Maybe thats too ambitious, but I really don’t care.
I’m going to leave my rivals crying on the dirt while I stand, victorious.
