Recent Media Coverage on CoinMKT
The team at ANX has reviewed recent media coverage regarding the allegations against two former DEA officials working on the former Silk Road case, and their involvement in the Bitcoin industry. The stories allege one of the individuals was closely related to CoinMKT.com. ANX purchased the CoinMKT.com domain from West Orange Labs, Inc on the 22nd January, 2015. Correspondence was limited to the former West Orange Labs CEO Travis Skweres and CTO Ola Ajayi. ANX did not receive in the transaction any historical data, such as customer records, transaction histories, identification materials, or email correspondence. All of the reported events occurred well before ANX purchased the domain.
CoinMKT.com continues business as usual and its operation remains unaffected.
