Wait now I need to know what characters were meant to be in Kingdom but didn't? When was this posted??
Good thing these aren't the kind of leaks that go into spoiler territory (and thus ruining the fun for everyone), but let's say these leaks were scrapped assets that were revealed last week on Discord (so similar to how it was with CookieWars before it shut down).
I will still place it under the cut cause I know some of y'all don't like leaks. Just in case, I won't reveal any illustrations or the like (I do not want the devs breathing down my neck), but they have been confirmed to be real, and a lot of folks were not happy about it.
Context for the curious oysters of what went down: In mid-June of 2026, a couple Discord folks who were digging through CRK found never-seen-before beta assets. There was a ton of assets that were found in the files, going from unused sprites to scrapped illustrations for a character's gacha pull to even scrapped costumes. Pretty normal, right? However, the biggest discovery was the reveal of all the scrapped characters that were meant to be in Kingdom. Some were supposedly finished, and others were just mere sketches.
The scrapped characters who were CROB-exclusive that were supposed to be playable in Kingdom were of the following:

Yeah, a lot of characters. Sure, a few appeared in other games, but to many who saw the scrapped illustrations, it was hard to take in.
While it is sad to know that these characters never made it in, to know that they were going to be part of the CRK universe does give a small glimmer of hope that they'll make it in the future (though for others, given how the story arc is so far, may feel they'd be away from the CRK treatment).
A small thought came to my head. I don't plan on doing it soon, but I feel it can work later down the line once I get through with some stuff I need to do (or I can give someone this idea so I can focus on my own things):
Basically a MAProject where former, current, and newer Cookie Run fans can vent their frustrations in PMV / AMV format. Featuring the song "Fire Fire" by David Micheal Bennett, it centers around the the more underrated characters of the series and the lore surrounding them. Each part showcases a character whom hasn't gotten relevancy in years.
I feel it can act as a way for fans to show appreciation for characters who haven't been relevant for years, have been forgotten, or were just done dirty. I also say this in light of the confirmation that some of the CROB characters were going to show up in CRK but got scrapped.
Still gonna be doing these for the next couple streams! DE, Abalone, and Burning Spice are done, but I am willing to take everyone's requests of who to give the Tattletail treatment!

A little "blast from the past" thing I may or may not have shown, but I remember wayyyy back in my early 20s via in 2021, when I was still into No Straight Roads that I actually had an AU regarding Zuke taking the place of Eve / Nadia, and the latter taking the role of the former. I didn't have the title for it, but it would've been titled as "Blue Drummer."
In short, Zuke (or in this case Adam) pretty much let the terror he witness when Eve placed "bright lights" on him get to him, and him becoming one of the high-ranked peeps in Tatiana's order made him realize he could get back at Nadia. Bro ends up being eaten alive by his own hate for someone he STILL cares for, that it takes a showdown between him and BBJ to make that change of heart and realize that maybe this isn't the way to go. He ends up forgiving Eve, but he still distances from her in the aftermath.
Should I ever get any NSR anons sneaking in to ask about my AU, or should I return to my NSR phase once more, I'd LOVE to make his actual design. I just felt like sharing this since NSR 2 is coming!

My brain keeps bugging me with so many ideas. On one end, I want to do the Tattletail-ified Cookie Run characters and do this one animation I gotta upload to YouTube since I now post bi-weekly.
At the same time, I want to make a comic about Wilted Vanilla so I can make use of my art skills. :'D
