Hi! I'm Ash and this is my new Simblr! The old one was unintentionally nuked, so we're starting fresh! This is where I post any gameplay, challenges, stories, screenshots, etc. for the sims 4 & the sims 2. This pinned post will have links to my content (but you can also find those on my blog's webview). This post will get updated regularly.

No one says no to Gabriele Siclari. The last Sim who tried was Odetta’s father, right after Gabriele asked permission to marry her. A few days later, the warehouses for her father's business mysteriously burned down.

Gabriele and Odetta were married within the month.

As Gabriele gets on in age, he has to make sure his son Elio is prepared to take over the family “business” and keep the Siclari name in power. But does Elio actually have what it takes? Or will the next generation drag the Siclari name through the gutter? And what about Cecelia? Can Gabriele marry her off to a family he can control, or will her reckless love affairs lead to family grudges and unrest?

the first family in my Dappled Shores neighborhood is the Siclari's who will be my Mafia challenge :)

i so rarely write bios for my households and so far they're the only family that has one

And almost each one is based on a different challenge. I made one household that's just a good ole normal couple who had no idea they were moving into a town with a mafia family and serial killers :)

Definitely not finished, but I'm really happy so far and think I'm ready to start making families. Hopefully I'll actually be able to play them without tons of game crashes. and of course i'l continue working on the hood itself as i go.

Added more 'coral' and some low budget apartments i downloaaded and decided to name it Dappled Shores.

it looks so peaceful and cheery but none of the households i have planned are even remotely peaceful or cheery :)

Moving some things around.

i got lucky and the game was letting me put flower patches in the water (it was finicky but certain spots were just right) so maybe there's like a coral reef or something over there

I've been working on this slowly because I'm finding it really chill and relaxing, which is what I need lately. I wanted to work on Sims 4 over the weekend but ended up getting really busy, and this week is going to be a lot. My birthday is Wednesday and the day after I'm going out of town to hunt ghosts lmfao

Anyway, I didn't build like any of those lots besides the two i've shown previously and even those aren't my designs.

Can anyone tell me what those like wooden posts that go over the water actually are and are used for in real life? despite living in florida I've never actually lived near a large enough body of water to see those and they don't have a specific name in game, which drives me nuts

so i found a GORGEOUS beach lot last night, idr who made it but i think it was called something like Victorian Beachfront on MTS.

Anyway, I saw it and was like THAT'S the vibe I want for this sims 2 neighborhood ive been messing with. but unfortunately, this neighborhood map has no beach lot spots, so the lot couldn't be placed.

No biggie. I decided II'll just like, use the floor plan and design of the buildings from that lot and manually build them no two separate smaller lots near the beach.

AND LIKE these designs are NOT MINE and will not take credit for them, but I love it. this is the vibe.

yes the neighborhood is named TBD, i haven't decided on a name yet

Okay the OG lot is called Victorian Boardwalk but it doesn't tell me the name of the creator, but that's what it was on MTS. it's a million times nicer than my little inspired attempt.

The floor plans are the exact same as from the other build but I am changing the actual shops up a bit. Though the restaurant on the right end is the exact same layout as the OG build. I think their first building was an arcade but I decided to make it a cafe. Their middle one may have been a boutique as well, IDR

placed a bunch of community lots (none of which i built b/c no fuckin way)

idk if they'll stay in those spots yet or if i'll even want to keep all of them. im not entirely sure what aesthetic this place would have, like what kind of architecture, and im not totally sure i like the style of these lots for this map.

I saw a reddit comment that was like, they planned rotational households based on different sims 2 challenges to work on for each household and that sounded so fun to me. so we might try it we'll see

I really miss going to therapy but I can’t afford it anymore despite my sessions being only $40, that’s how bad my work situation is right now 😃

I can tell I need it too but I’m doing my best to keep myself regulated and chill. It’s exhausting.

gonna try to get some more midnight hour posts set up over the wweekend for next week. im gonna be super busy next week for my birthday, and this week has been kind of a lot too, so i haven't even opened ts4.

i have played a little ts2 but just to give me something i don't have to think too hard about and play
