Hey gang I’m back on my WWE bullshit! This pirate-themed Kanabō is inspired by the Pirate Princess, Kairi Sane!! I just think she’s neat, she’s such a fun character, and her in-ring work is incredible. Her outfits slap and were a huge inspiration for the beading and fabric wraps on this piece, her entrance robes are SO gorgeous ✨

The Kanabō itself is made from pipes covered in foam. All the ship wheels are moulded from foam clay, any hilariously my initial estimate was 20 of them. I ended up needing 72, and I then had to sand 72 spikes to set into them 😅all by hand, all in the summer humidity. I’m still finding foam dust in places.

The beading was something I wanted to add in because the colours reminded me of some of Kairi’s recent outfits, and also seaglass. It felt very piratical and I wanted to adorn the Kanabō so it wasn’t just a weapon, but a work of art.

This was also my first time attempting an ito wrap! I knew I wanted it for the handle section, but I couldn’t find any proper cord that wsn’t too expensive, so I went with a drawstring type thing which was a little too thick, I think. It covered the menuki a bit more than i’d have liked it to, but overall I’m not disappointed. This thing turned out BEAUTIFUL 🥹

“Bow down. All hail the Queen.” 💎

I had this silly little idea a few months ago to make a sword inspired by the Queen of WWE, Charlotte Flair . I am in love with her entire aesthetic, I love her entrance robes and their flamboyance and sparkle, and she is an absolute powerhouse performer inside the squared circle.

This project has consumed my thoughts since the start of August, and to see it realised and to hold it in my hands is honestly indescribable. It’s unreal. I’m so in love.

So, I kind of fell in love with wrestling over the past few months, and I’m absolutely in awe of the power and athleticism of the women in the sport, so I dealt with the hyperfixation in a very normal way which was to make an axe inspired by Rhea Ripley’s gear, specifically the WarGames and W41 headgear.

I loved the Liv4Brutality feud and I’m sad that we will probably never get a satisfying conclusion to it, and the Mami Who Laughs look is an all time favourite of mine, so it only felt right to incorporate those elements into the design (and I loved the idea of the skelly hands reaching for the women’s world championship belt on the base of the pommel).

Okay so y’all know how much I love Bayonetta, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that making her sword was on my prop bucket list! Shuraba is my favourite weapon in the first game (followed by Odette), and it’s also freaking huge. It’s about four and a half feet long, and I’m obsessed.

The blade is made from wood, with foam elements and a pvc handle. My favourite part is the detailing on the handle; it didn’t look like much when I was making it but once I got the decorative pieces onto it? Everything came together so quickly!

It took me seven real life years but I finally committed and finished making Faith Seed’s variant D2 “Sin Eater” from Far Cry 5. It’s one of the most beautiful weapons I’ve seen in a modern setting game, and I knew I wanted it from the first time I saw it (rip Faith I’m sorry I had to do you like that). The whole thing is foam and foam clay, and I created custom moulds for all the Peggie insignias on it. It was definitely worth the wait.

So, like a lot of people, I’ve fallen in love with Agatha All Along and its incredible characters and story, so I’ve done what I do best: work through the hyperfixation by making a knife! This is the dagger of Rio Vidal, *the* green witch, portrayed by Aubrey Plaza.

Is it screen accurate? Not at all! References have been hard to come by, and the design is COMPLICATED, but I’m super satisfied that the work I’ve done is as close to life as I can get it. I love the subtle green and gold tints throughout, and the way the design wraps its way around the handle like a spider web, or the veins of a leaf. Both are thematically appropriate for Rio’s character, really.

The blade is inhabited by the Infernal Demon Cheshire, a creature that is seemingly equal parts mischievous cat and trained bear, and that manifests using the charm hanging from Mab Dachi's hilt when summoned by Viola.”

I freaking love the Bayonetta series and have been replaying them a lot lately, which inspired me to make Viola’s odachi from the third game! I’m not gonna lie, I’m pretty impressed with myself for this one. It’s based partly on concept art and partly on the few screenshots I was able to take in game.

Happy Assassin’s Creed Mirage launch day to those who celebrate! I’m thrilled to be able to say that I teamed up with UbisoftANZ to bring to life the weapons of Basim and Roshan from the game 🥰

They were all made out of foam as they had to be cosplay safe for the launch party last week, and I can confidently say that they are some of my finest work.

Managing to pull the weapons and the display stand together in three weeks was quite the feat and it made for a challenge, but overcoming it was one of my proudest moments this year.

To celebrate Resident Evil Village’s second birthday, I designed and created a dagger as elegant as Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters.

It was inspired by the gothic feel of Castle Dimitrescu and features a large gemstone pommel as well as the crest of House Dimitrescu on the guard.

“Montana. Big Sky Country. The Treasure State. Folks got a lot of names for it. Me? I just call it home.”

This year marks the fifth anniversary of one of my favourite games of all time, Far Cry 5. This game is an absolute comfort, and I always find myself returning to it. I know Hope County like the back of my hand, but it always manages to surprise me.

Over the years I’ve created and recreated a number of props and other items from the game, and I see myself continuing to do so for years to come.

I am very, VERY excited for Assassin’s Creed Hexe in a way that I can’t describe with words, so I decided to try and express it in art.

Inspired by the teaser, I would love to present my concept dagger!

It’s based both on the pike blades which were prevalent during the 30 Years War in 1600s Germany, as well as athames used in some pagan practices. The handle is also meant to evoke a hand broom (or besom) as well as a smudge stick. It’s just a cool amalgamation of influences 🥰

Well, Supergiant Games announced Hades 2 at the Game Awards last week and to say that I am excited is an understatement, so to celebrate the news I made Melinoë’s weapons from the cinematic in the reveal trailer!!
