So I’m actually still brainstorming and figuring out some stuff in his and Dawn’s lore!

But what I got so far is that he’s Dawn’s antagonist/final boss if Dawn had his own companion quest lol

Roshan was once a renowned magister with political power in Nevarra. Because of his status and charisma he had admirers and he fooled around a lot. He grew quite fond of Dawn’s mother and fell in love, but she left him when he started showing more of his true selfish and power hungry nature.

He left the mortalitasi and became a cult leader (still figuring out this part lol) when he couldn’t sway other magisters to get what he wanted.

I don’t think Roshan even knew he a son. But I think he eventually found out when Dawn turned 2 and he ordered some of his followers to kidnap him. They were unsuccessful because Dawn’s mother protected him, but at the cost of her life. Dawn woke up in the Grand Necropolis and that’s where the rest of his story continues.

Yeeeears pass and Dawn joins the Veilguard and finds out about his dad. Roshan tries to manipulate Dawn to join his side (as an heir/tool?)
