Let’s talk about BCAAS and EAAS. BCAAS - Branch Chain Amino Acids EAAS - Essential Amino Acids ▪️ Why should you be taking Astro Aminos? - You are brand new to training and you find you get fatigued quickly. (This is normal btw but aminos do in fact still help.) - You are cramping during your workout sessions (read also drink your water and get your electrolytes in.) - You have a tendency to go a bit longer between meals (while still working on that.) - You are conditioned but you want to help speed up your recovery between sets and workout sessions. ▪️What are they? - EAA Supplements will generally consist of some combination of Essential Amino Acids. There are 9 Essential Amino Acids and 3 of those 9 are also Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs). ▪️ One reason it works? 1. EAAs support muscle protein synthesis and, when taken before exercise, EAAs have been shown improve anabolic (muscle building) response. Increased muscle protein synth may create a positive protein balance and result in a muscle building (anabolic) state that allows you to recover better from exercise between workouts. 2. There are 4 electrolytes in Astro Aminos that keep you from cramping. Sure you can do this by adding some sodium to your water but it doesn’t taste nearly as good lol. And again there are FOUR types of electrolytes in Astro Aminos. I keep this in my gym for clients that may be cramping 🙌🏽 Shop them and more now @primesportsnutrition with code “Ashleemanefit” for a discount at checkout. @ultimaactive 📸 @sixsix_visuals (at National Academy of Strength and Power) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUIoagMPrnj/?utm_medium=tumblr
