It's been 366 days since our lips parted for the very very last time we kissed. We were both wild inside trying to escape from the lives we were living and the just getting by. There was still love then, but I couldn't see it enough to surrender to it. We got in the car and drove towards we didn't even know what. Just two broken hearts with a past perfect love. 2 miles down the road with not a plan or clue where to go, just a burning desire to keep our hearts on fire. Then a stupid messed up mind, fooled the heart & sold a lie. ....... Oh, if only I hadn't said then what I wish I could take back now, we may have kept on driving and that car wouldn't have turned around. Yeah, we might still be driving, you and me.
