Author’s Note: We need more oneshots with Sean! It was really fun writing his personality and accent in this oneshot. Whatta tink? :)
“Whatta ye say we go cause a bit o’ trouble at de saloon?” Sean sauntered up next to you as you scrubbed some dirty linens in the wash basin. You huffed at his question.
“Can’t you see I’m a bit busy?” You stopped washing, then wiped your brow before looking up at Sean, who didn’t seem all too impressed.
“Ah come on,” he begged, “You could use a wee break to tie ye over.” You rolled your eyes, knowing full well a wee break was; getting absolutely smashed and passing out somewhere right along side Sean. Crazy bastard.
“Miss Grimshaw would hunt us down, skin us alive, then force Mary-Beth to sew our hides into some long johns for Uncle… Do you really want that?” Sean paused and rubbed his chin, perhaps in thought, then shrugged.
“Based off de piss poor progress you’ve gone and done so far, I’d say it’s very likely even if we dahn’t disappear.” He gave a quick nod towards the current linen in the basin. You held up the cloth to inspect and turns out Sean isn’t as clueless as he looks. Furiously scrubbing linens equals large tears in the cloth.
“Well,” you say as you drop the linen in the bin and stand up, “Let us disappear for a while. Maybe a day or two.”
Sean chuckles and rubs his hands together. “Ah ha, now yer talkin me language.”
You give a small laugh back, “What, idiot?” The two of you walk out of the camp towards your horses, laughing at each other’s banter and set off towards the local town.
After many shots later, you stumble out of the saloon, nearly falling down the stairs into the muddy road. Behind you, Sean burst through the saloon doors, laughing loudly, then tripped over his own feet and landed on the wooden floorboards with a thud.
“Ah Christ,” he cursed while picking himself up, “That was close. Would’ve ‘ad to carry me home.” He chuckled and brushed off his liquor soaked coat as if it would magically clean it, but the sentiment was still cute. What?
You shook your drunken thoughts from your head. You helped Sean get down the stairs in one piece, then kept your arms around each other’s shoulders for support. Side by side, you made your way down the road towards your horses, singing merrily and laughing when your feet failed to do what feet were supposed to do.
Sean paused and stared up at the horses’ saddles. He blinked a couple times, then shook his head. “Nope, sorry Y/N. Aye am naht going to make dat.” Sean slouched forward a bit, nearly sending you both down to the ground, but your legs still kept firm.
“All right,” you mumbled, “Guess we have a long walk ahead of us.” With your horses following behind you, the pair of you set off in the direction of camp. Sean grew quiet and you stopped talking as well. It was a nice and peaceful change.
It may have been an hour later or maybe 10 minutes, but you could feel Sean becoming heavier as you were walking along. The fool was falling asleep while on the move. There was no way they’d make it back tonight in this condition. With your last remaining strength, you dragged Sean off the road and towards the treeline where you could pass out without fear of being robbed.
“Okay, Sean,” you grunted while dragging him under the trees, “This is our extravagant hotel for the night.” You dropped him to the ground, where he again landed with a thud and a grunt.
“Ah,” he breathed, “Aye wonder what dey used for dis comforter.” He rolled onto his back and looked at you, smiling.
You laughed. “Rocks, I suppose.” You laid down next to him and stared up at the night sky. It twinkled brilliantly above you, lighting the countryside. Sean let out a long sigh, then gently took your hand into his. Shocked, you glance back at him to find that he is already staring at you.
“Thought I’d try it while aye ‘ave liquid courage. You probably wahnt remember it, but maybe ye will.” He gives your hand a small squeeze. “I- I just need ye to know this.”
You nod silently, hoping he can’t see the scarlet red creeping across your face. He was really doing this, right now, and it honestly made you so giddy. You have had a crush on Sean for the longest time, but you didn’t want to ruin your friendship so you kept it quiet. Now here he was about to pour his heart out to you. Butterflies were soon flying around in your chest.
“Y/n,” Sean paused, furrowing his brows and licked his lips before continuing,”Aye want ye to know that I’ve always liked you. Aye know I’ve done a piss poor job of showing ye, but you make me feel so alive… And I’m glad aye can be meself ‘round ye and naht act like someone else.”
You exhaled heavily. “Sean, I really like you too.” You smiled in return when his face lit up when he heard those words from your mouth. “Ah Y/n. Aye would kiss ye right now if aye could,” Sean exclaimed, “But aye can’t really move.”
You both chuckled. “You can kiss me in the morning if you’re still alive.”
“Oh you know nothing can get a one up ahn ol’ Sean “Vigilant” MacGuire. I’ll hear em before aye see em.”
That was the last thing you heard before passing out. The next moment you opened your eyes it was already morning. You rub the sleep from your eyes and look over to at a still sleeping Sean. You watched as his chest rose and fell as he slept. Carefully, you scooted over next to him and cuddled into his side.
“Goodmornin’,” Sean mumbled, still groggy from the whiskey last night. He shifted to free his arm from under you, then wrapped it around you, pulling you closer to him. “Did ye forget?”
You looked up at his face and smiled. “No, I haven’t.”
He smiled back. “Good,” he replied. He gave you a quick peck on the lips.
“Miss Grimshaw is probably out looking for us now.” You remembered what you did to those linens yesterday and dreaded going back to camp.
Sean was quiet for a moment. “Wanna go back to de saloon?”
“Sean,” you huffed while playfully hitting at his chest. “What, it was only a suggestion.”
Laying there in the grass, feeling the cool breeze tickling your skin, snuggling with Sean was all you needed. Being with Sean was all you needed. He was all you needed. The camp didn’t need to see what new shenanigans the two you had in store now.

Author’s Note: Here’s another fic. I hope you like it.
“Arthur Morgan, did you know that I’m a widow?”
You were sitting at the scout camp, drinking from a bottle of whiskey, reminiscing about your past and everything that went along with it. Especially the heartbreaking moments. You had heard the gruff man approaching before he even greeted you. “That’s a funny way of saying hello,” he replied while sitting down on the log bench next to you. You took another swig from the bottle and handed it to Arthur, who gladly accepted it.
The two of you sat quietly, staring straight ahead at the small campfire, passing the bottle back and forth without a word. It was a comfortable silence. You and Arthur had a deep connection and no words had to be spoken between the two of you to understand the other. Being in each other’s company was enough. Although this time, Arthur broke the silence.
“You wanna talk about it,” Arthur asked after taking a gulp from the whiskey bottle. He grimaced at the strong taste and shook his head slightly, then passed the bottle back to you. You took a sip. “ Eh not really.” You paused. “I’ve drunk too much.”
“Well,” he muttered, “if you say so.” Arthur snatches the whiskey bottle from your hands. “You won’t be needing this then.”
“Hey!”
“Hay is for horses Y/N.” He gives a small smirk. “This right here is whiskey.” He takes another swig, ignoring your pouting face. “Ahhh very refreshing.”
You smile briefly, but memories soon flood back. “He was murdered,” you whispered as you gazed into the licking flames of the fire.
“Oh.” Arthur scratches the back of his neck and exhales heavily. “ I’m sorry Y/N,” he replies, “It must have been hard.”
More silence between you two. Suddenly, Arthur leans over and awkwardly places his arm around your shoulders. It was strange for Arthur to do, but all the same, it was comforting. “I’m sorry,” he repeats, “I don’t know really what to do in situations like this. I’m usually the one who's doing the murdering.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at his statement. It was true. Arthur soon was laughing too at his words. “Thank you, Arthur. You always know how to cheer me up,” you give your thigh a small slap, still chuckling. He gave a small salute back. “Anything for you, my lady.”
‘My lady’ is what he called you. Heat filled your cheeks and it’s not because of the fire. You grow quiet again, thinking about the current moment between you and Arthur. You had finally admitted to yourself a while ago that you would be lying if you told yourself you didn’t have any feelings for this outlaw. He was oddly charming and incredibly handsome for a rugged outlaw. He always says he isn’t a good man, but he’s good to the ones who really matter the most; his family.
“Arthur,” you pause to take a deep breath, “do you ever think about starting again?”
He sits there on the log for a moment, baffled by your question. You watch him as he does give the question thought; he rubs his scruff and peers quietly into the campfire. “I’m too old to start again.” He gives a simple shrug, then relaxes once more on the bench. You scoff at his answer. The liar.
“Arthur Morgan,” you snapped, “You are not old!” You jumped to your feet, then yanked the whiskey bottle from his fingers and poured the rest into the fire. The campfire sputtered as the last few gulps of alcohol met flame.
“Hey!”
“Hay is for horses, Arthur Morgan!”
He hastily rises to his feet and faces you, chuckling at your tantrum. “What I am I going to do with you,” he breathes through laughs.
“For starters, you could kiss me you fool.”
That stops him from laughing at you. He then opens his mouth to reply, but no words come out. Instead, the rough outlaw carefully wraps one of his arms behind your waist, gently pulling you closer while cupping your cheek with his other hand. He softly brushes his thumb against your skin, sending chills down your spine. His lips finally met yours and that’s when you knew Arthur could fill that empty void within your heart. You clung to this man desperately if he was the air you needed to breathe or he was the preserver in your ever churning ocean of emotions. He kept you afloat in your time of need. Always.
Arthur parted from you but still held you firmly in his arms, keeping you steady and safe. “I think,” he started, “that I’m ready to try ‘starting again’ if you’re ready.” His eyes beamed while gazing into yours’.
“I’d like that.”
Hand in hand, you and Arthur sat back down on the log bench to watch the flames flicker in the night. Smiling, you sat contentedly in silence with Arthur, your rugged golden outlaw.
Author’s Note: Here’s the second part of “The Golden Outlaw.” Let me know if you want this good thing to keep going. I enjoy giving back, so don’t be afraid to ask! Enjoy!
(P.S. Here’s the link to the first part of the story)
Heavy logs crackled and popped as the flames of the campfire engulfed them like thirsty animals drinking a small pond dry. Mesmerized by the dancing colors, you watched the fire silently as the outlaw, Arthur Morgan, set up his bedroll across from you. His horse grazed behind him, ears twitching and tail swishing, but never strayed far from his side. She was a beautiful mare and she was obviously very in love with her owner. You couldn’t blame her.
“Why did you abduct me,” you finally asked. Your hands gripped your skirts tightly as you awaited his response. You were still uneased by this man. You didn’t know his motives or plans, and that frightened you, but you gathered your courage and questioned him. Hopefully, he’d give an answer.
While adjusting his hat, Arthur shifted to face you and smirked. There was a sparkle of mischief in his eyes. Your heart fluttered.
“Well,” he paused and rubbed his scruff, “this is where I live.”
So much for a straight answer. You felt your eyes roll to his retort. Why was this man so infuriating at times?
“For the time being,” Arthur added. “There’s a lot of heat right now. Leading the law back to my gang would be━”
“So you are in a gang?!” You suddenly jumped to your feet from fright, or maybe excitement. You didn’t know which, but your heart soared when he admitted the fact.
Taken back, Arthur stared at you for a moment, then chuckled. “Well, shoar! Death would come fast if one was robbing banks on his own. Nah, it’s better to have someone to watch your back.”
Arthur was quiet then, perhaps deep in thought or remembering a horrific ordeal he witnessed. You couldn’t tell but you watched him carefully for any hints to his past. He was a very interesting character and you honestly wanted to know more about his personal life. One more question couldn’t hurt.
“So,” you started, “what gang do you belong to?” You sat back down on your bedroll, wrapping Arthur’s beige coat tighter around you and leaned forward awaiting his reply.
“I guess it wouldn’t hurt to tell you,” he spoke as if he was reading his thoughts out loud. “I’m apart of the Van Der Linde gang.”
You had heard they were somewhere in the area of New Hanover, but now Arthur confirmed it. They were wanted men with big prices were on their heads’, including Arthur Morgan. Even though you should have been frightened by this whole situation, you oddly weren’t. Your life was so dull and boring compared to the life of an outlaw. You were expected to behave like a lady; wear silly dresses, act polite and depend on the opposite sex for nearly everything. You wanted freedom and independence. Arthur Morgan was your golden ticket to such wants.
“Arthur,” you said quietly, now fully gaining his attention. “I don’t want to go back. I want to be an outlaw like you. I want to join your gang.”
Arthur stood abruptly, shaking his head and threw down his hands. “No way lady, you do not want this.” He walked quickly over you and you stood to meet him, peering into his face. “You have a normal life. You do not want to screw it up with thieving and killing, cuz once you do, there’s no turning back.”
With every word, Arthur’s voice rose louder and louder as his anger grew. He seemed to notice this because he soon sighed and spoke again with a hushed tone. “Look, you have a chance at what I never had.” He glanced down at the ground, rubbing the back of his neck and looked directly into your face. His eyes were pleading and searching for any common sense in yours’. Sorrow and lament were known well by Arthur you sensed. His eyes were full of it.
“I know I can’t force you to sweep me away, but perhaps we can come to an agreement.”
You watched as his brow dipped. He shifted his jaw and let out a huff. “And what do you suppose,” he responded, folding his arms across his chest.
You inhaled and released the breathe slowly. “Let me come to your camp and live. I won’t have any part in thieving or killing, but I can tend to homely duties. I also have some education in medicine. I can tend wounded or━”
“All right, that’s enough,” Arthur cut in. “I’ll take you to our hideout, but it won’t be my decision to let you stay. That’s Dutch’s job.”
“Dutch?”
“You know, Dutch Van Der Linde. He’s my━,” Arthur paused a moment, trying to find the right words, “my━ my mentor.”
You frowned, knowing well who Dutch was. The charismatic leader of the Van Der Linde gang. You heard he was tricky, a natural charmer. He was gifted with words and made promises of freedom to whoever came along. He frightened you, but he was also your best chance at a new life. What did he promise Arthur?
“Very well, Arthur Morgan,” you said as you sat back down on your bedroll, wiggling to fit under the thin cover. You closed your eyes and listened to Arthur sighing while he shuffled to his bedroll. Then it was quiet, except for the wildlife who thrived in the night. Crickets chirped in the grass, coyotes yipped back and forth, and the faint call of a whippoorwill echoed through the trees. It was Arthur who broke the silence this time.
“I don’t even know your name,” he mumbled. “What do I call you?”
I loved your Arthur imagine and I want a part two sooooo bad! But that’s only if you’ll want to write one of course!
Of course! I wrote it in a way to set it up for a series if people were interested. I'm glad they do like it. I will definitely write another. Let's see what happens next! I'm curious too! :)

Author’s Note: I absolutely enjoyed this game and this man. I decided to take a different approach to a bank heist. I might also make this into a series. Hope everyone enjoys it!
The sharp clang of metal striking metal filled your ears. Glass shattered, people shouted, and horses screamed as bullets flew from all directions when the fight erupted. You weren’t sure of who was to blame for the commotion but staying where you were was a death sentence. Currently, you were squatting behind the crate of fresh produce that you were quietly browsing this morning before all hell went loose. Masked figures ran through the muddy road in front of you. Repeaters in hand and saddlebags draped over their shoulders, you were sure they were up to no good, especially if they were running from the direction of the bank.
Panic flooded your brain and sent your legs running from your hiding spot. Boots heavy from the mud and your heart just the same, you sprinted as fast you could in your new tailored dress across the dirty street, hoping to find someone generous enough to shield you from this chaos. Plans changed when you collided with something. Not something, someone.
The stranger let out a grunt but stood unscathed from your encounter, yet you nearly tumbled to the wet earth below you if not for the strong arms that snatched your body as you fell. The stranger held onto you tight, an arm looped around your waist, while you recovered from the hard impact. Your uneven gaze glanced upward towards the looming figure. A black mask.
A new wave of fear washed over your body. This was a man who was a part of the bank heist and he now has you in his grasp. A gentle soothing grasp. Time stood still as you looked straight into the bank robber’s eyes; they held the color of springtime. Blue and green swirled and danced like two lovers at an evening ball. They were beautiful. Human.
Time flowed again. The shouting and cracks of pistols firing resumed and slowly made their way towards the two of you standing in the street. The stranger’s arms tensed, holding you tighter against him. Now he was panicking. Then he finally spoke.
“All right lady. Do exactly what I say, and we’ll both get out of this alive.” Before you could answer, his revolver clicked and was pointed directly at your temple. Your stomach dropped. Men with their weapons drawn charged towards you and the stranger but stopped when they saw you were a “hostage.” You felt yourself being dragged backward towards a neighing mare of a champagne hue. His horse probably. You made a mental note to avoid horses of that color. The man’s voice brought you back to reality.
“Stay back if you fellas ever want to see this dame again,” he shouted to the swarm of lawmen creeping slowly towards you. The bank robber now turned his attention to you. “You’re going on a little trip for a bit. I hope you like the countryside,” he teased as he turned his horse, shielding you from any harm.
You were dumbfounded as he helped you on the back of his horse. Nothing like this has ever crossed your mind of happening, yet here you are on the back of a galloping mare, beelining it away from the civilization with a wanted outlaw. Sounds like something straight out of a romance novel, you pondered. You held tightly on the outlaw’s figure, grasping at his clothing to try to keep balance on his racing mare while pushing back the dread of what possibly could happen next.
Any signs of civilization were long gone now. Rolling meadows with wildflowers and wildlife of all kinds littered the countryside you were traversing. The champagne horse slowly significantly and came to a stop. The outlaw had been quiet this whole time, yet so were you. Perhaps he was planning on what to do with you. The thought made you shiver. Suddenly, the man swept his leg over the side and jumped down from the noble steed. He looked at you and held out his hand. A simple noble gesture. You took it.
You plopped down next to him and the horse neighed loudly as if she was happy to be rid of the extra weight. Silence again, then a heavy sigh.
“Well, night is coming,” the outlaw informed you while peeling off his beige coat. “And I hardly feel like riding at night with a bounty on my head of robbery and a dash of kidnapping.” He chuckled at his own joke, then shrugged when you made no effort in joining him.
“I thought it was funny,” he mumbled while offering his coat to you. “You cold? Night’s get real cold out here.” When you didn’t take it, the outlaw shook his head and took it upon himself to wrap it around your shoulders. You were stunned once more. Finally, you spoke for the first time.
“Who are you?”
You stared at him with a newfound curiosity. Who was this man? Why was he so gentle and caring for an outlaw? Aren’t they supposed to be nasty and cruel?
At this moment, the outlaw finally revealed his face. With the mask off, the man sported a grizzled chin and facial hair dusted his handsome figures. His nose was crooked; possibly from having it broken so many times. Age could be seen around his eyes and mouth from crow’s feet and laugh lines. His complexion was fair, but freckles dotted his cheeks telling you he spends frequent time in the hot sun. His eyes were dazzling on top of it all. Then his lips parted.
“I guess it’s only fair to give you a name after I kidnapped you and all.” He reached out his hand in a gesture for a handshake. “You can call me Arthur.” He paused to rub his scruff. “Ah, call me Arthur. Arthur Morgan.”

Author’s Note: To one of my supporters out there, thank you for giving me the courage and the will to write once more! This is for you!
The night summer air danced around your body as you walked towards the beach. The breeze was playful and teased your skin, creating little bumps that raised on your arms and jostling your hair so it got in your face. It was a bit chilly and the wind was slightly annoying, but tonight was going to be perfect no matter what.
In the distance, you spotted the familiar flame resting near the waterside, waiting for you. The sight of Arlo made your heart surge with heat. As you grew closer, Arlo rose to his feet to greet you.
“Y/n, you’re here!” He stepped closer to you and outstretched his arms, which you gladly accepted the gesture and fell into his opened arms. He was oh so warm and smelled delicious.
You blushed at such thoughts and brushed them aside. Arlo deserved more than your lust for him. Arlo was special and he deserved so much more. He finally let go of the embrace and gazed into your face.
“Shall we,” he said as he pointed at the blanket below on the soft white sand. You nodded and sat down with him on the beach.
The sky above was magical. Stars illuminated the night sky and distant planets twinkled brilliantly. The constellations were hiding in plain sight, but luckily you had some knowledge to where they were hiding. Time to work some of your own magic.
“There, do you see those stars clustered right there,” you acclaimed and pointed towards the heavens. Arlo peered upwards and squinted at the stars. “Yes, what’s their story Y/n?”
This was your favorite legend of the constellations. You grinned as you gazed at Arlo, who seemed genuinely interested in what you had to say.
“Her name is Andromeda. She was the very beautiful daughter of Cassiopeia and Cepheus of the Greek World. Her mother announced that she was the most beautiful in all the land and doing so upset the gods. To appease them once more, a sacrifice was needed.”
You took a breath and looked back at Arlo. He was staring contently at you, waiting for you to continue the story. “Don’t tell me that Andromeda was the sacrifice,” Arlo begged.
“Oh yes,” you continued,” Andromeda was chained to a rock in the sea and was offered to the sea monster Cetus.” You raised your arm and pointed to several other stars in the sky.
Arlo’s gaze followed. You watched as he peered into the night sky, deep in thought and eyes opened wide in wonder. The soft light touched his face gently and made his eyes glow like the stars above. He was perfect.
“And then she was rescued by her true love,” he replied, still gazing into the stars. His response threw you off and all you could was listen to his words. He spoke the truth.
He continued, “Andromeda was rescued by Perseus. They fell in love and have been with each other ever since.” Arlo outstretched his hand and pointed to the constellation of Perseus. He turned back to you and spoke once more.
“In a way, I feel like I am Perseus sometimes,” Arlo spoke quietly. “I rescued you from that cave-in.”
You could feel the heat creeping up your neck and not to mention your stomach was doing flips. How does he made your heart beat so wildly and your head feel like it’s in the clouds? He drew nearer to your face, but you hesitated. You’ve never done this before. You were afraid and Arlo sensed that.
Lightening the mood, Arlo gave a slight chuckle. “I just remembered that Ack created the funniest dish today. I wonder if he’ll made another for us.” He stood up briskly, dusted himself off and offered his hand for you. You grabbed it gingerly and were brought to your feet.
You both started to walk away, then you felt Arlo lightly entwine his fingers into yours’. A small smile slowly spread upon your face while you walked together, hand in hand. Realization struck you and you couldn’t help but smile. Arlo was your Perseus and you were his Andromeda. Just like the stars in the sky, you would always be together.
Holy mother of portia you're actually a hero right now. I've been seriously needing me some Arlo x reader but there's none around! Is it possible that you could pleeeeease make more with him? I adore your writing ❤
Hey there! It means a lot to me that you reached out! Having a little push always gets me in the writing mood, so I will happily write another Arlo x reader for you! I currently don't have power, but that can't stop me from writing on paper! I'll get right on it :)
Author’s Note: I really like this game. Look it up on Steam if you have the chance. All of the characters are really cute!
“The way you flirt is shameful,” you heard Emily huff beside you as you both watched Arlo, the leader of the Civil Corps, walk by. You waved shyly at him and gave a small smile, to which he acknowledged and returned the favor.
“I’m not flirting,” you responded, still waving and smiling, “I’m just being friendly.”
The two of you gazed at him while he patrolled the square and kept the peace of their small town. His hair glowed a fiery red in the bright beams of the sun, but his eyes were soft and blue like a gentle flowing stream. He was brave, strong and a reliable man to have in the town. Everyone liked him. He was perfect.
His returning smile made your heart flutter wildly in your chest like a butterfly caught in a jar. You did fancy him, but you were scared he wouldn’t feel the same. You were only a lowly builder. A no one.
Suddenly, Emily snapped her fingers in front of your face. “Hello in there,” she questioned playfully, “Stop daydreaming and go ask the man out already. You both obviously like each other.”
You blinked a couple times before registering what she had said. “You think he likes me?”
“I know he does,” she replied. “Now go after him!”
Emily pushed you gently in the direction he had disappeared into. You swallowed down your fear, took a deep breath, and raced off to go find Arlo. While you were jogging, you began thinking about how silly this was. This was a lost cause to you and he would never say yes to a date.
“Look out!”
A voice called out, but it was too late. You were deeply lost in your own thoughts and didn’t see that you were about to run into someone. Both of your bodies collided, but only you felt yourself stumble back. A hand grabbed your arm and steadied you balance.
“Are you all right,” the voice asked.
“Yes, I think so,” you mumbled while staring at the ground. When you looked up, there were those gentle blue eyes staring directly into yours, with the matching set of fiery hair. Immediately your heart began to pound.
“I am so sorry, Arlo,” you frantically said, “I didn’t mean to. I should have been paying attention. I’m sorry!”
Arlo gave a soft smile in return. “It’s quite all right. I was worried that you got hurt.”
Just then you remembered that he was still holding your arm. You stole a quick glance, but it didn’t go unnoticed. Arlo then released your arm and raised his hand to the back of his neck to scratch it.
Your mind returned to the conversation at hand. “I’m all right. Really.”
“That’s good. Where were you going in such a rush?”
You began to feel your face heat up. You couldn’t tell him that you were running through town just to catch up to him. You were also hoping he couldn’t see you blushing.
Before you could find an answer, he spoke again.
“If you don’t want to say, that’s all right. I’m not the noisy type,” Arlo said, then briefly paused before continuing, “Hey, I was actually meaning to come talk to you about something.”
“Oh you want to request a commission,” you replied, interrupting him. It was usually why people wanted to talk to you.
Arlo chuckled. “Ah no,” he said between laughs, “I’ve been meaning to ask you something, but I just couldn’t find the courage to.”
Confusion was set on your brows. You stared intently at Arlo’s new nervous demeanor and quietly thought about what was about to happen. This can’t be, you thought.
He took a small breath and continued. “I was wondering if you’d like to grab dinner sometime,” he asked, then fiddled with his glove before hastily adding, “With me.”
You bit your lip and smiled. After seeing you smile, Arlo’s demeanor changed quickly and he was smiling right along with you. “I’ll take that as a yes,” he said, knowing exactly what that smile meant.
“You know, Arlo,” you replied, still smiling at him.
“What is it?”
You gave him a slight nudge on the shoulder and said, “You’re pretty cute when you’re nervous.”
You both laughed with each other, then planned your date and gave a quick hug goodbye. Emily had to know all of these details or you would never hear the end of it. This was the start of something beautiful.

Author’s Note: There’s not enough Tom Riddle one-shots, so I’ve made this! Enjoy!
It was your seventh year at Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry. The date for mid terms was arriving too soon, so naturally all the students began to hustle about and cram their noggins full of knowledge. Including your boyfriend, the famous Tom Riddle.
You skipped leisurely down the empty hallway towards the school’s massive library, only to find it overflowing of your fellow wizards and witches. Your legs wandered past colossal shelves, brimming with all sorts of textbooks and scrolls, until a familiar set of thick wavy hair caught your eye.
“Oh Tooooom,” you sang, approaching the young man from behind. Wrapping your arms around his shoulders, you leaned forward, pecking his smooth cheek quickly. Unfortunately, it didn’t cause him to remove his face from the book he held.
You frowned slightly. No matter, you thought, there are easier ways to capture his attention.
You let go of his form and walked to the nearest shelve. Your fingers skimmed the leather bound books carefully, searching for anything that piqued your interest. When nothing turned up, you gave a shrug and grabbed the nearest binding.
Plopping down in the chair, across from Tom, you released a sigh and dug your face within the ancient text, mimicking your boyfriend.
Finally gaining his attention, you break away your eyes from the text, seeing Tom studying you with curiosity. You smile at him, knowing you’ve won your little battle.
“Yes darling,” you cooed at him, dropping your book and giving the sweetest smile you could manage.
Tom coolly raised one brow, still staring at you and opened his mouth to retort, “Y/N, what are you doing?”
Crossing your arms, you frowned and glanced away, looking at the dull painting of an old man washing himself. “Studying, duh.”
“You don’t study,” he simply responded, no hint of emotion in his voice.
You furrowed your brows and looked back at Tom. He sat there, emotionless, resting his hands on the oak table that sat between the two of you. You noticed how handsome he looked with a blank face.
Forgetting to be frustrated with Tom, you suddenly reached forward, grabbing onto both of his hands and stared at him with pleading eyes. You watched Tom narrow his brown eyes, softening, and a small smile formed on his perfect face.
“Let’s do something,” you begged, giving him your best puppy eyes.
Tom’s smile grew a little. At that point, you knew you had won over his thoughts. You watched him as he gazed down at your entwined fingers, obviously thinking about your proposal.
Tom glanced back up at you. “All right,” he whispered softly, squeezing your hands gently.
“YAYYY,” you screamed, suddenly jumping up in the air in excitement. A large number of hushes soon filled the air after you interrupted everyone’s studying.
You mumbled an oops, causing Tom to chuckle lightly at your new demeanor.
“You can yell all you want when we get outside,” Tom stated, taking your hand and causing you to blush. Public affection was not Tom’s preferred take of action.
As you walked out of the library, an evil grin spread across your face, gaining Tom’s attention. “Oh, and what will we be doing that causes all my yelling, Tom,” you breathe quietly into his ear, earning you a small blush forming on his porcelain features.
You watch as Tom visible gulps and clears his throat as a response to your question. A giggle escapes your chest , provoking Tom. He gains back his coolness, then snatches you up into his arms, making you yelp in surprise.
“This is what is going to cause your outbursts, Y/N,” Tom says, raking his fingers into your stomach, tickling you as he made his way down the hallway. You laughed and flailed in his grasp, kicking at the air.
“STAHP,” you huffed heavily. Tom then gently put you down on the ground and smoothed out the wrinkles on your robe.
“Thank you,” you managed to say, still getting your breath back. Tom nods, his way of saying “your welcome.”
Tom stares at you intently, causing you to panic slightly, causing you to think there’s something on your face. He chuckles again, but says no.
“You have given my existence such happiness, Y/N, and I thank you for it,” Tom calmly says. You smile sweetly at him, then reached out, wrapping your arms around his figure and nuzzling his chest.
“I love you, Tom.”
You feel his strong arms cloak around you, warming your body and giving you that feeling of safety. You hear him exhale heavily.
“I love you too, Y/N. Always and forever.”
His grip strengthens, not wanting to let go. You found yourself silently wishing that this moment would never end. You would always remember the day where the famous Tom Riddle admitted he loved you. Always and forever.
Author’s Note: Here’s a bit of closure for the last one (Sorry it took so long!)
The room you sat in was dark, cold and empty. The only source of light was a small flickering candle, being teased by the cool gusts of breeze seeping in through the cracks, but the little candle did not go out. It burned brightly no matter how strong the currents were.
In front of you was Jon. He was pacing back and forth in the small bedroom, like an animal trapped in a cage. His eyes were bloodshot, his cheeks cleaned from the tears that fell down his face and his hair wild and untamed; Jon had every reason to be a mess.
Finally, you got the courage to stand up. Your legs felt wobbly and you heart surged in your chest, but he needed you.
“Jon,” you whispered while stepping closer to him. You watched as he kept pacing back and forth in front of the oak door.
You reached out and placed your hand on his shoulder, immediately stopping Jon in his tracks. His head lifted ever so slowly until he was gazing at you with fresh tears in his soft brown eyes. It hurt you so to see him like this.
Then he spoke. “I have to leave.”
You shook your head side to side. “No, your place is here. You made an oath.”
“What am I suppose to do, Y/n?” He paused. “Let those bastards get away with everything?!”
You gazed into his distorted face with eyes that were pleading him to stay. If he left, then everything he worked for would be gone, including his life. You couldn’t let that happy, not after everything you both went through.
“Stay, Jon,” you pleaded while tears began to swell in your eyes, “Stay here and fight... Stay with me.”
You saw the anger slowly leave his face, watching the realization wash over him if he left and you once again recognized the Jon Snow you fell in love with.
“All right,” he breathed. Jon wrapped his arms around you and pulled you in close. The familiar feeling of his strong arms holding you calmed your nerves and you finally felt safe again. As he squeezed you, you heard the faintest whisper come from his lips.
“I would never abandon you in this world. I love you.”
Author’s Note: Hello my loves! I’m sorry it took me so long to post literally anything. Having a bit of a rough patch in my life, but I have redeemed myself and created this! Hopefully it’s good! It has been a while, but enjoy!!
The cage was a smaller size and obviously built hastily to contain the bandits’ new trophy from their recent pillaging. From inside the crude cage, you clenched tightly around the firm wooden posts, peering into the small encampment to search for any means of escape. You were losing precious time, for the hunting party would be back soon to prepare the celebratory feast and you didn’t want to think about what their plans were for you. In a last effort, you furiously shook the bars, hoping something would come lose.
“Let me out,” you yelled at the nearby guard, who was lazily leaning against a lookout post. You glared at him as he sluggishly looked at you and gave an ugly snaggle toothed sneer. “Don’t worry, love,” he chuckled, “the boys will let you out later for some fun.”
“Yeah,” you replied, “I’ll have fun killing you all!” The guard threw his head back and laughed loudly at your claim. He then strode towards your cage, still snickering as he walked. “You talk a big game, love,” he smirked while looking you up and down, “we can start the fun early now that we’re alone.”
The guard hungrily stared at your body and reached down for the jangling keys that hung on his waist. There was no way you’d go down without a fight. You would die fighting this man. Your heart sped up, pumping adrenaline throughout your limbs. You clenched your fists, ready to fight. As soon as he opened the door, you would pounce.
Suddenly an arrow whizzed through the air, striking the guard on the side of his skull. He plopped to the ground with a soft thud and blood began to pool around his pierced head. You frantically looked around for the culprit, scanning the darkness for any movement or a gleam of light.
Finally, another man stepped out of some bushes close by. He was sporting Carja armor and a feathered headdress that held a variety of colors that no bird had. The familiar tattoo of the lines with the circles under his eyes confirmed he was of Carja origin. A person not to be trusted.
You stiffened as he grew closer. He was undeniably attractive; his tan skin shined in the warm fire light, his dark eyes held mystery to them and he carried himself with confidence. You mentally shook the thoughts from your mind. He was still an enemy, even if he saved your hide. You watched him closely while he knelt and plucked the keys from the guard’s fist. He stood again and faced the cage door, extending his hand to unlock the bolt.
“What do you think you’re doing?!” You exclaimed, startling the Carja warrior. He withdrew his hand and stared blankly at you for a moment.
Confused, he responded. “Saving your life?”
You scoffed. You didn’t want his help. You were too proud to let a Carja save your life. “Thanks for the consideration, but for your information, I was perfectly content with where I was. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some praying to do.” You sat down with a huff, folded your arms and closed your eyes.
After a moment or two, you squinted your eyes open only to find the warrior sitting in front of you on the other side of the bars. “You almost done praying,” he whispered. He gave a smirk and held up the keys, jingling them in front of your face. You rolled your eyes, hoping he would get the hint.
“You know, those bandits will be back soon,” he continued, rubbing the facial hair that covered his chin. “And I don’t think you want to be here when that happens.” The warrior hesitated a moment, raising a lone brow in question as he examined your cramped enclosure. “Unless you’d like your revenge?”
You sucked in a small breath. Those men destroyed your livelihood, your village, the people you came to love and care for. They ripped it away like it was nothing, like the villagers were nothing but animals to slaughter. You would have your revenge and this Carja man would help you.
You gazed into his face, staring intensely at his dark eyes. “Yes,” you replied. You didn’t have to say anything else. The man leaped up and shoved the key into the lock. The bolt fell to the ground and you calmly stepped out of the cage, towards the warrior.
He stuck out his hand for a handshake and you gladly accepted it. “I guess we’ll be working together for a while,” the warrior said, still shaking your hand. “I’m Nil.”
“Y/N,” you answered. Nil held your hand firmly, not shaking it anymore. He studied your face, taking in all your features like he was memorizing a map. “Y/N”, he repeated, smiling as he said your name. You watched him as he leaned over and gently kissed the top of your hand. “I do look forward to our time spent together and I hope you feel the same,” he breathed while his lips grazed your skin.
Heated seared through your face. Silently, you prayed it was dark enough to hide your blushing cheeks. Your father was probably turning in his grave right about now. A Nora and a Carja. Working together. Oh the irony.
Imagine being Link’s companion while traversing the dangerous, but beautiful land of Hyrule...
“Link,” you breathed, “how are we ever going to save this world?”
You turned around, surprised to find Link watching you intently with little expression. Then a soft smile turned up at his lips and he began to approach you.
Link placed a hand on your shoulder, still staring at you, and gave his head a quick nod. You understood. Even when there was no words.
You smiled back and put your hand on top of his. “Of course, it’s just something we gotta do.”
Author’s Note: I LOVE SWTOR! GIVE ME ARCANN ROMANCE!! (theron will do… for now…)
You lay in your bed, tossing and turning, unable to shake dark thoughts from your mind as you slept. Panic, fright and guilt eat at you, until suddenly you awake with a jolt and lurch forward. Now sitting upright, you pant heavily. Such dreams have never occurred ever since Valkorion invaded your thoughts. Shivers ran down your spine as you thought about him returning, but you knew well he wasn’t coming back.
Beside you, a body shifts and leans up as well. A cold metallic hand touches your arm. Based from the history from the owner that the hand belonged to, it still was a strange thought of sharing a room with the former emperor of Zakuul.
Finally the silence was broken.
“Y/n,” he said in that oh so familiar deep, but calm tone. The one you learned to love. “What stirs you from your slumber?”
You let out a long sigh. “I thought the nightmares were over with,” you remarked while sliding a hand through your long h/c hair. “It’s been a year, Arcann. He’s gone.”
The former emperor knew well enough who “he” was. The man that tortured both of them for years and drove them to fight unnecessary wars. The Eternal Emperor; Valkorion.
In the darkness, you could imagine the tense look on Arcann’s handsome features at the mere mention of his father.
His hands brushed past your ribs and circled around your waist, gently pulling you closer to him. You sighed again, but you gladly cuddled up beside your prince, listening to his steady heartbeat inside his chest. He then spoke.
“My father is gone,” Arcann said while he caressed your arm, knowing it would comfort and calm you. He didn’t need to give any more reassurance that Valkorion was gone. Only those simple words.
Arcann was right. Valkorion is gone. You leaned back even farther into Arcann, curling up to go back to sleep, but the dream still shook your thoughts.
“Arcann,” you whispered, “my dream... you were in it...” You trailed off as your faint dream looped through your brain, making you live the horror over and over again.
You felt Arcann’s hands grip you tighter and he let out a sigh. “I take it that it was I whom really stirred your dreams for the worse?” He questioned you, but it was really more of a statement. He knew right.
“... Yes,” You mumbled. You felt awful for admitting, but there was no hiding things from the former Emperor of Zakuul.
Arcann’s metallic hand lifted from your arm and waved at the light across the room. It flashed on. The light mad you blink several times and when your eyes gained focus again, you looked at Arcann only to find he was staring deeply into your face with sad longing eyes. Those baby blue eyes.
Arcann then took your hand and gave it a squeeze. “You know I would never inflict pain on you ever again,” he paused and looked down at your stomach, where an old scar of a light saber had pierced through your body. You watched intently as regret and sadness flooded his face.
“I regret deeply what I did and I know I can never change what had happened, Y/n,” he continued. “But I promise you I will never hurt you again. You’ve inspired me and millions of others to become better human beings and I thank you.”
Suddenly Arcann closed the distance between the two of you. You were surprised as he cupped your face gently and pressed his lips against yours. It was a sweet, tender, passionate kiss. As soon as it happened, it was over.
He backed away and looked into your eyes once more.
“You know, I have to thank my father for one thing,” Arcann began as his lips twitched into a soft smile.
Your eyes glinted with curiosity as he mentioned his father. “What’s that, Arcann?”
He continued to smile, then leaned forward to whisper in your ear. “He brought you to me.” Arcann retreated back to his side of the bed, leaving you hot in the face.
“Let’s get some sleep now,” he proposed, waving his hand once more to darken the room. You slouched down, kicking your feet to cover your body with the covers, and settled your head on your pillow.
Arcann scooted up behind you and wrapped his arm across your stomach, pulling you closer to him. You sighed again, this time with content and happiness. As you drifted off, Arcann pecked the back of you head and spoke softly.

Author’s Note: Sorry it has been a while since I gave my account attention. Been rather busy with being an adult, BUT! I am back and I am ready to write! Enjoy my little doves! :)
Snowflakes danced gracefully in the wind as darkness fell upon the surrounding hills, leaving the moon as the only source of light. An uneasy silence filled the brisk air as your feet trudged through the powdered snow. Being alone in the rugged wildness while war rages all over Westros was definitely not your cup of tea, but reaching Castle Black was your last hope.
On the twelfth day of your march, the familiar gates and walls of your last hope appeared in the distance. Your heart surged as you peered up from out of your hood. The Night’s Watch would surly take you in, even if you were a woman. It would be smart of them to hear what you had to say at least.
The gates towered over your small frame as you slowly approached the great ancient walls of the famous Castle Black. Men dressed in heavy furs lined the top, weapons at the ready and pointed at your direction.
“Halt,” one of the men shouted out, “state your business or be own your way.”
“I have urgent news of where the war stands. It involves one of your men, Jon Snow and his family,” you informed loudly over the strong winds that danced through your long hair.
The man gave your words some thought as he scratched his hair covered chin. If he said anything else to you, you didn’t hear it. In front of you, the ancient gates creaked and opened.
You took a hesitant step forward, knowing these men haven’t seen or been with a woman in a long time, but that didn’t matter now. All you needed now was Jon Snow.
After waiting for what seemed like forever, you heard yelling through the courtyard.
“Where is she,” the voice blurted.
Suddenly you saw a tall man similarly dressed in heavy furs just like his brothers, sporting long dark curly hair and a beard to match, rush into the courtyard before you. He looked so different, yet he seemed exactly the same as you remembered him.
You watched his face change when he finally spotted you. His features grew soft and a relieved smile spread across his face.
As you stood still, snow swirled within the gentle gusts of wind, collecting in your tangled locks, and you stared as Jon began to walk towards you. Then he started to jog. With arms extended, he crashed into you and pulled you into the biggest hugs you’ve ever received. You gladly returned the hug back.
He exhaled deeply next to your ear. “I’ve missed you so much.”
Tears became to form in your eyes. You knew you had to tell him about the horrible massacre, but you missed him so much and you didn’t to ruin the moment just yet.
A choked sob escaped from your lips and Jon pulled back to study your face.
“Y/n, what’s wrong? What’s happened?” His eyes grew large, full of worry and sadness.
You shook your head as tears began rolling down your cheeks. You couldn’t stop them now. “Jon,” you breathed as you peered up at his pleading face.
The wind howled outside the cave, roaring like a ferocious animal as it pounced on its prey. You shivered slightly at the thought, but immediately forgot it while glancing over at the man you’ve been traveling with, Max.
He paced back and forth within the damp muggy cave, setting up your make shift camp while the storm raged outside. Mostly booby traps and scrap metal to alert us. The strange shaped man called Chum Bucket offered to keep watch, probably to protect the car, but you were definitely okay with that. No car meant certain death.
Shadows danced on the ceiling from the small flames centered in the cave, fueled by a chunk of rubber from an old tire. It was oddly comforting. Suddenly, a rolled up blanket flew at your face, the impact bringing you back to reality.
“Get some sleep,” you heard Max’s deep voice grumble from across the dark room. You didn’t mind him being harsh towards you. The world outside this cavern was certainly not as charming as this gruff tantalizing survivor. He reminded you of how severe the world really was.
Unwrapping the blanket, you couldn’t resist to admire Max as he rested on the cavern floor. “Thank you, Max,” you said sweetly, still staring hungrily at the young man.
A low grunt responded. You sighed, then laid down upon the hard cold floor, closing your eyes and letting the familiar sense of sleep engulfed your mind.
After what it felt like a few minutes, your body grew freezing. The calm night air seeped into the cavern, the dampness of the rocks and the very ground you slept on didn’t help the temperature warm up any. You opened your eyes, welcoming darkness into your vision, and noticed the fire had completely died while you slept.
Leaning up, you looked over at the darkened figure, Max, still fast asleep on the ground. You frowned, slightly annoyed on how well his body could ignore the chill. Such talent should be shared.
Out of blue, your mind had come up with a wicked plan to rekindle the warmth within your body. A blush already formed in your cheeks from the thought.
“Max,” you whispered. No response. “Max!”
When that didn’t work, you began to untie your boot. Boot in hand, you aimed for the man and chucked it as hard as you could. A loud grunt filled the silence.
“What is your damage, woman,” Max rasped, rubbing his head.
“The fire is out.”
“And,” he retorted, now picking up your boot and examining it.
You crossed your arms, pouting. “I’m cold, Max.”
He let out a long exhausted sigh, but stood up. Still holding your boot, Max shuffled towards your side of the cave and knelt down in front of your face. His eyes glinted in the distant moonlight, softening as he peered up at you. Your heart thumped in response.
“I think this belongs to you,” Max said, handing you back your boot. As you mumbled a thanks, he still sat next to you.
Curiosity had gotten the better of you, but you didn’t care at the moment. Max shifted his posture, leaning closer to you, causing your heart to pitter patter even faster than before.
“Let me warm you up.”
Not even waiting to respond, you immediately scooted over, making room for the rugged man. He chuckle quietly, laying down next to your figure. With your back to him, you feel his arms snake around your waist, pulling you close to his chest. His breath on your neck makes you shudder with elation, causing your hairs to stand on end.
“Is this better,” he whispers into your ear, driving you wild inside. Simply, you placed your hand on his muscular arm, creating tension within his muscles.
“It is, Max, thank you,” you agreed. You held onto him as your eyes grew heavy. As you slowly drifted off, Max’s tension relaxed and you felt him squeeze you tighter into him.
“Sleep well, Y/N,” he mumbled as he too fell into a deep sleep, his grip never unwavering around you. A faint smile appeared on your lips before you completely lost all conscious, knowing you had won over the ruthless, yet daring and warmhearted survivor of the sandy dunes.
