something that annoys me about people's reactions to sammy/lottie being groomed into drawing and doing problematic things is that they're almost always like "i feel so bad for her family/uncle/mom :(((" (ESPECIALLY on pinterest) but rarely "I feel so bad for her". you know, the one who actually got groomed? if you think about it, saying stuff like that is the equivalent to saying that it was her fault for her getting groomed and affecting her relatives when in reality it's the complete opposite, and it's her mom's fault for being neglectful and not checking on what or who her daughter was interacting with on the internet. it's the people around sammy/lottie that failed her. ofc I'm not trying to defend her actions at all (her actions are not justified regardless of her being groomed) im just trying to point this very flawed mindset out.
