Alita, in her Imaginos body

Her face is cotton flannel, and her body is a super soft, but pretty thick satin. The face is entirely applique.

I made myself this for my birthday. She took nearly a year to complete, but that's because her face is entirely sewn on. I drew on the seams in the body. The patterns used were two different ones from Cholyknight, one for the body (at 150%) and another for the head (at 100%). Even with that the head's too big for my liking, but it is so much better than it would've been with the intended pattern...

Honestly, I look at her and can see things I'll change if I ever made another, but I adore her anyway. She went with me to the movie and I hugged the hell out of her the whole time. 💜

It might take me another year, but I'll finish Sechs too. ;) She's supposed to have a buddy. I just prioritize commissions over personal stuff.

Pretty sure I came down with something, but I got the doll I was waiting for in the mail, and that won out. So, instead of sleeping, I made a whole doll outfit last night. It was fun to make even though I’m a bit loopy atm.

I haven’t decided if I wanna keep the bow on it or not. My fabric is pretty stiff, so it lies weird and the outfit looked great without it.

The pattern was from DGRequiem (@requiemart) - a pattern maker that I’ve gotten a few MH clothing patterns from before. Very quality stuff! This was much easier than those tiny little things. Gotta love 1/4″ seams over 1/8″. I need a better machine.

There’s a contest going on with this size of doll pattern, and so long as I keep making them as she releases them, I keep getting free patterns! And my daughters will get more clothes for the dolls they’re getting for Christmas! Win all around! (Yeah, I got this one for myself just for making/modeling clothes. And cuz she’s cute. Let’s hope they don’t find her and run off with her.)

Some of the dino plushies I’ve made. I made the patterns to go with my kids’ dino room theme, but even though I have like six patterns, I’ve only made three different dinos. We’ll see how long it takes me before I make them all. Hopefully, I finish before the youngest grows out of the dino room. The oldest will probably never stop loving dinos though.

The difference in fabrics that should be the same always drives me insane. Makes every freaking stuffed animal I make look different from the others.

I’ve made two sauropods, three pterosaurs, and two plesiosaurs. I have patterns for a stegosaurus, hadrosaur, and t-rex. Still trying to figure out triceratops to my satisfaction.

My Christmas present to my hubby - an owlbear to hang out with all his D&D stuff. :) Applique is a new skill for me, so I’m still working on it, but this one turned out really good, so I’m pleased ^_^ Plus, he’s very cuddly, and that’s always a perk.
