me, with someone I have no interest in: lighthearted witty banter, often perceived by others as flirting.

What hurt the most was that I made up excuses when your words didn’t match your actions. But now it’s clear you just didn’t care.

it’s sad really. that you can fall so hard for a person you didn’t even know it was possible to love someone that much. it’s sad that they have no clue just how much you fucking love them, how much you wish you could give them the entire world if you could. it’s sad that you love them so much it slowly kills you inside. they become your drug, your addiction, they’re in your veins. it’s sad that we would go through hell just to see the person we love, happy. it shouldn’t hurt. loving someone shouldn’t feel like your insides are tearing apart, it shouldn’t feel like you can’t breathe in the middle of the night when you think about them. it shouldn’t. and it’s sad. but what’s even worse ? they have no clue. they go and fuck you up, time and time again. they manage to fucking break you without even trying. and what do you do ? you cry yourself to sleep. you stop eating or sleeping. you slowly die inside. you forget what it’s like to be happy. you become afraid to love again. you become broken.

Every time I remember the good in you my heart melts. I become so weak. Numb to the countless times you broke me, making me feel worthless. -z.b
