Max Ernst and Dorothea Tanning, Huismes, France, c. 1955. Lee Miller. Gelatin Silver. Ernst and Tanning were both artists (married in 1946), and they collaborated on a number of projects, including the painting “The Temptation of Saint Anthony” (1948).
