Also picked up Long Gone Done by The Etherington brothers who were awesome to chat to a few times across the Thought bubble weekend advising myself on improvements in my colouring and praising my line art. It's been a while since iv been confindent or at least not as anxious about big comic con things and since I'd last dared go to Thought Bubble...in fact the last time I attended was in 2011 where I had drawn an entire set of comic pages for the script provided by 200ad that year ...but due to not being satisfied with the result and not getting the type on it I just didn't enter it...silly I know but this is how nervous stuff and overthinking gets to me....such is the case that I near have up for a long while following that. But I was not going to miss a chance to meet a hero of mine in the comic art and story telling world. Getting signed books and art by Mike Mignola was one thing to be thankful for, a photo was a big plus....but to also have him look at my art and say to keep at it do more and even write on some copies of my images with those words and signature....that's something I'd like to take back in time to show my 2011 scared stiff self. #ThoughtBubble2016 #Thoughtbubble #Leeds #Hellboy #signed #comiccon #inspiration #hero #comicarts #smile #photo #domoredrawing
