I've been thinking about how Caine would do in ep5 and i had this idea for the softball adventure! The original idea was that it's supposed to be Caine and Kinger but i scrapped it becus i think it just makes sense if it's Zooble having this kind of talk with Caine instead. :)

- he's holding Zooble in a way so that their parts don't fall out

- he's not squeezing Gangle so that her fragile ribbons don't get tangled

- he's not putting too much pressure on Ragatha so that she doesn't get ripped apart

- he's only holding Pomni and Jax firmly because their bodies are solid and rubbery

And this scene is right after the torture too. You would think he would be more violent, but no. He wanted to hurt them, not break them.

Caine wanted them to listen. And because they never did, he made them feel what he felt when they poked at his biggest fears and insecurities.

Also I really wanted to know how do Pomni/Kinger feel about Caine, since it's kind of (?) their fault

Oh they feel a-real bad, they are drowning in guilt.

Pomni tries to rationalize it thinking that it wouldn't have happened if Caine had simply listened from the start but that only helps for so long. It doesn't change the fact that this happened, and she played a role, intent matters, but the result is what they have to live with now (Doesn't help that Caine doesn't blame her at all and agrees that it was his fault)
