Back at it in Fort Lauderdale. 📹

A lot of online medical curriculum is doctors yelling into their laptops with bulleted PowerPoint slides. One of the things I strive for is adding production value: professional audio, standups, better lighting, candid visual assets, modified slides, and picture-in-picture framing. It really helps the presenters stick out from others and it’s hopefully way more engaging for viewers. We only hit home runs.

At every hospital there are dozens of professionals working behind the scenes to ensure every instrument used during surgery is sterile. They are one of the essential parts of every operating room, the Sterile Processing Department. Lurie Children’s has one of the best, in fact they are hosting a summit for all the Chicago area SPDs later this month.
