I would like to know how Tome reacts to the rest (mob, ritsu, shou and teru)? and I'm also curious how they manage their day to day life with their new monster forms :0 ??

(I vaguely remember from ur old doodles since Mob's senses are now stronger that stresses(?) him out, Teru helps him out by calming him down and I find it really cute!)

she is incredibly curious once she sees their transformation, and wants to help out in finding a way to change them back. she's just very curious about it and examines them LOL she sees all the craziness and it blows her mind actually seeing that this is real and stuff yknow, she also finds it creepy but it doesnt freak her out, its creepy in an interesting way

i honestly feel like she would be a little jealous that this happened without her, she would want to see what monster she would turn into and i also like to think that this brings tome closer to teru and shou tbh, she wants to hang out with them to 'find a cure' but finds it fun outside of that reason..

I will adress your other questions in a different post once i draw something for it LOL i have some ideas but i wanted to post this already because im impatient

Since it's like beastars, I assume there's also going to be the dark side of it, where carnivores eat herbivores. Has Shou, Reigen, or any carnivores that Mob knows ever tried eating/having the instinct of eating others? If so, how did it go? I'm really interested in that and I would LOVEEE to know!

since there's a panda in beastars (I forgot his name), is there any character for that role or does he just not exist in this specific au?

and also, since everyone is animals in this au, is there like any regular animals/strays or is there none and there's only birds.. genuinely asking because I don't know how to word it and I really hope you understand...

The way I see it is that not all carnivores have the same instincts, kinda like a spectrum...?

Some do, love it or regret it, some don't and refuse to even stay put

Personally, the only character I could think of who would get their instincts out is Shinji and Onigawara (I don't know what animals they would be yet!) but Shinji's instincts are probably worse while Onigawara can control his instincts (unfortunately they're not important in the narrative of the au yet so I might change it! since it's tricky mixing Beastars's story/worldbuilding with mp100 characters 😭)

Lion Shou on the other hand is so interesting and complex to me, he seems like a soft lion but he could brutally eat a whole herbivore alive if he wants to because that's just his nature and was influenced heavily by CLAW and his dad

(He goes to the same school as Ritsu and Mob but he's always absent because most days he has to stay at home to control his instincts..if that makes sense :p)

Before Ritsu was forced to join CLAW, I like to imagine Shou getting in trouble by the student council due to his absentees and Ritsu is always involved lol

The panda character in Beastars is named Gohin AND OMG THANK YOU FOR ASKING ...it's kinda funny because it's gonna be Fox Reigen LOL

He's probably a meat hater and never liked the ethics of the Black Market, and he dealt with clients who have instinct problems (just like Gohin!) and since Gohin is Legoshi's mentor, it kinda makes sense Reigen takes the role of helping Mob control both his psychic powers and instincts! (Ofcourse he's not as harsh as Gohin lol)

For your last question, do you mean if there are normal animals/pets in this au? (Sorry I don't fully understand!! If I get it wrong you can elaborate another ask!!😭) But if it is, probably not LOL..bugs, insects and marine life do exist (just like in Beastars) but since it's not narratively important I didn't thought much about it yet!

oh and for the last question I do mean that, I meant as in like.. quadrupeds, like in the regular world.. uhh.. yeah, other than that I don't know how else to word it 🥹

I love how Fox reigen is Gohin... that's so in character for him for some reason, HAASSSS there been a customer with very bad instincts that they just straight up started attacking reigen? Or has that never happened at all?

So the spectrum depends on how one eats meat.. intriguing.. i like that overall because it gives the characters a way to have different POV's of their own experiences and opinions on meat. And since Shou goes to the same school as Ritsu and Mob, has he ever caused any incidents between students for how much he ate meat? Or is he so goated at controlling his instincts and leaves the second he feels like he's going outta control

Has there been an incident where someone got killed in the school like the actual series or has it been scrapped out of it? I wanna know because I feel like you'd have a better/interesting alternative!

AND YES Reigen must have encountered dealing with clients who attacked him because of their instincts, he would try his best to calm them down with his own techniques. I don't know if I'll confirm it yet but Mob would get involved assisting Reigen with his clients using his powers a bit since it's easier to handle without anyone getting hurt...and working with Reigen gives him the opportunity to learn how to control his instincts with the proper techniques 🤔🤔 I really want to doodle that idk if that makes any sense LOL ..now that I think about it Reigen probably takes the role as a therapist or a doctor instead of a con artist but im not sure yet

(I have to note that I think Mob's instincts only increases if he uses his powers to an extent or 100% if that makes sense?? He just goes violent if he uses his powers too much buttttt that's what I could think of atm)

I know in the Beastars universe, all carnivores have predatory instincts no matter what...but I like to think in Mobstars, not all predators are meat eaters, I just think it's fun that there's a grey area on what they prefer to consume and you worded it perfectly!! (and also because it's narratively easier that way)

Oh my god I'm gonna ramble a bit on Shou here just prepare,,,,

I don't think Shou has ever caused a scene/incident ever in revealing his instincts...in fact I like to imagine him being a popular student even among herbivores (anytime he's present, he's generally friendly and helpful towards his classmates/students since he's big and strong and acts like a leader due to his lion nature)

It's also fun to think that Shou decided to go to Salt High School because he wanted to make friends at his age and also because he's been under CLAW's business ever since he was born...his taking small steps to live a normal life 😭😭

But when his instincts start occurring he'll probably take a day or week off from school just to relax, otherwise his absence is also due to him needing to deal with the Black Market business with his dad (nobody knows Shou's personal life with CLAW nor his dad's identity, only Ritsu finds out after he was forced to join)

In Mobstars, I tried my best following the Beastars stories as much as I can! I've mentioned it already but I'll mention it again here (I might have made some changes over the past month 😭 but here's just the general gist!)

I like to think that Mogami in this au is taking the role of both Riz and Melon? (But he has different intentions in killing Minori and other victims in this au (I'm still in the thinking process how to tackle Mogami because Melon in Beastars is a flawed villain in Beastars's story) I would need to binge season 3 again just to get some ideas tbh)
