It happened. I finally decided to start working on an entirely new world unrelated to the world that I have worked on for the past 3 years. It was tough taking that first step, but it had to be done. When I sat down to start working I began to think back to all the things I learned in building my first world, and imagined what I could have done better. The first thing I wanted to do was ask myself some questions about building a world for the first time and to make sure that I covered the basics. Here are the questions that I asked myself. I hope they can help you spark creativity in your world creation process. Some of these questions I was able to snag from various blogs, but I compiled them into a list that I felt better suited my needs.
