Remmick raises an eyebrow, the most human he’s looked all night. Maybe the entire time Sammie’s known him, months now. He actually seems hesitant, like he’s wondering whether he’s the one being tricked.

“Sammie?” He says, sheepishly, like he isn’t the wolf.

“You’re tryin’ me, man.”

Remmick crawls onto the bed.
