This post is not the place to say “just move to this other website/app” btw. I support ditching this site if the owners are gonna be so childishly useless but if you want to meaningfully preserve the community that makes tumblr worth using you need to put in the work to reach out to other people and support them and keep in contact, ESPECIALLY trans women, instead of just assuming everyone will magically band up and travel together to the perfect website where nothing can go wrong

i think it's worth remembering that there has been a multi month long ongoing harassment campaign against various transfems on this website by now, with tumblr moderation doing barely anything about it (except banning some of us), but they're currently able to find every single post vaguely mean to matt and suspend them within an hour with no reports.
