The Dark & Surreal Paintings of Leilani Bustamante
Leilani Bustamante was born in Santa Rosa California and is a graduate of the school of Illustration at the Academy of Art University. She grew up between the suburban sprawl and rural Fort Bragg, where she draws inspiration from their simultaneous decay and growth. Her work often voices themes of mortality exploring elements of death, rebirth, beauty and spoil, the loveliness of the macabre and the mournful influence of osteological motifs. She lives and works in San Francisco, California.

Mirrored Pastel World in Photographs by Michele Bisaillon
Based in Silicon Valley 29-year-old artist Michele Bisaillon, is one-half of art duo and the other half is her cat and muse Peach. She lived in San Diego while attending UCSD and moved back to Silicon Valley after graduating.
Michele to take his pictures uses tiny mirrors, setting them in various combinations next to each other, which on the photo gives the effect of a special collage. Through a minimal yet striking lens, she strives to capture the beauty of fleeting moments and everyday normality. More photos you can see on the artist’s Instagram.

One of my most popular drawings on tumblr is one with sharks that i personally really dislike 😂 as its so messy and i even got the fins wrong. So i decided to draw a new one. Not sure if white or black background is better though.

CHAKAIA BOOKER
Tara Donovan
Paintings by Chloe Early
Chloe Early (born 1980 in London) paints post-apocalyptic prospects laden with themes of redemption and hope. Working in oils on aluminum panel, Early’s colour-saturated mini-narratives combine the splendor of Renaissance and Romantic painting with the rawness of contemporary life, a splendid example of the iron fist in a velvet glove strategy, examining the sensitive and personal aspects of conflict, ambition, and entropy in an opulent, cinematic style. Gosha Levochkin’s fanciful, strange worlds, often rendered in watercolor and gouache, carry an undercurrent of autobiography for the artist. See more on HiFructose.com.
