Sketch dump of an OC au I started years ago but it’s lowkey better than canon when the cast has shaggy hair so… 🫣 some are redraws if you’re familiar with my older art.

1967, Bradley and Abbi’s band finally made it big when a famous Ms Honey Sucre happened upon them at their local bar gig and wants them in her domain immediately. Meanwhile ex child star turned heart throb turned scandal Mr Joshua Dominik considers early retirement when he receives a letter of invitation to Ms Honey’s yearly Gala. Had he not gone, he would have never met his biggest fan and found himself pushed around by a young Bradley, determined to get Joshua’s failing career back to its former glory. After all, it was Joshua’s voice in his 1953 musical film that inspired Bradley to start writing music in the first place.

Original sketches are from 2021. I think this time around, despite writing this AU for years, I finally put together that this was a period piece in a way of character design. I was so caught up in the fact that Joshua’s films are from the 50s that I forgot the actual story was set in the mid 60s early 70s where I can give Bradley the shaggiest hair possible and have Abbi dressed in full mod.
