Liliana chucked softly at Ariโs commentย โStraight black coffee.โ She informs himย โGives you such a kick in the ass you couldnโt be tired if you tried.โ To be honest Liliana had never really been a morning person but when your entire buisness was selling coffee to other non-morning people you learned to adapt.ย โAs for the handling people you just have to tune them out while smiling and nodding.โ she hummed โThatโs what I do with you.โ She joked โYou sticking to the usual this morning?โ she asked. โOr if youโre feeling really wild you could leave the choice of what you get up to me this time.โ She grinned. Liliana had quite a few regulars but she could admit to herself that Ari had quickly became a favorite. Something about him was just so alluring, something that she wouldnโt mind getting to know a little better sometimes when she wasnโt stuck behind the counter of her buisness.ย
Lips curled up into a smirk. a gesture that only grew exponentially the more the other spoke, as it often did whenever he found himself buying from her.ย โReally, plain black coffee is all it takes? Do you have like, superpowers or something? I need at least two cortados injected into my system to be a somewhat functioning adult. Somewhat being the key wordโ he bantered back, a chuckle escaping him at Lilianaโs next statement.ย โWait, youโre telling me I walk in and you immediately black out? Straight up smile and nod your way out of every conversation we have? I am hurt. Here I was, thinking of my best jokes every morning to now discover itโs all been for nothingโvileโ he muffled back dramatically, taking in a deep breath. It was only half a joke, he did happen to enjoy making her laugh whenever he had the chance. Then, he raised a brow at the challenge, assessing the woman in front of him.ย โOkay, Iโll bite. Liliana could hardly keep her eyes open as she stood behind the coffee counter of Dream House Coffee. There were often times that she could be mistaken as an employee rather than the owner with the amount of time that she found herself out working in the front of the house. It had been a long night and even with a second cup of espresso in her right hand she still felt like she could fall asleep at any moment. However once the chime of the front door dinged in her ears she was quick to straighten up and put a smile on her faceย โHi welcome to Dream House Coffee my names Liliana, what can I get for you this morning?โ She asked. She tried to keep her voice at a more leveled decibel knowing that if this incoming customer felt anything like she did this morning they wouldnโt appreciate a loud singsong greeting.ย
Ariโs permanent grin only grew wider at the sight of the other as he walked in front of the line. Although the musician wasnโt the type to follow a schedule nor thrived off of routine (especially in his younger years) he had grown to lean the importance of it all in a balanced life, mostly when it came to raising a child. One of his favorite things about this new routine life style of his howeverโ was entering Dream Coffee House almost every morning. Not only was the coffee great, the woman on the other side of the counter always found a way to bring a grin to his face.ย โGood morning to you tooโcan I get whatever you get that gives you the will power to handle people so early and do it so warmly? My job depends on it.โ

Aristรณteles was born in Oaxaca Mexico, product of the love affair between Renata, a seamstress and Miguel, a Mexican politician who ran away quickly from his responsibilities the minute Renata gave him the news. Although Renata didnโt have the meanings to care for a kid, she worked hard to raise his child who never lacked a thing, even when he could see the tiredness in his motherโs eyes.
At age ten, after seeing his mother struggle to make end meets, Ari decided to step in: he put his name on for a talent reality show in Mexico and got selected to compete. Although he didnโt win, Ari charmed the audience with his voice and personality, receiving a second place and deal for his own album. Not a year later, Ari was promoting his album and a soap opera he would be a part of. He used the money he was payed to buy his mother a house so she would never have to worry about making ends meet again.
His career took off after that. Soap operas, movies, awards, albums, tours... Mรฉxico couldnโt get enough of him, became the youngest solo number to sell out the biggest arena in mexico at the age of fifteen. It was traced in the stars, Aristรณteles would become a legend.
Turning sixteen and having all the fame and fortune his stardom had brought with him affected the young star. Although he loved his country and his audience, the millions of kids, young people and eldest who would sing along to the songs he had written, he needed a bigger challenge and thus, he decided to move to LA to try and make it in Hollywood. It proved to be a difficult task once he arrived and getting restless, he enrolled in high school. Thatโs where he met Natalie. She was beautiful, bright, gentle... Ari fell in love quickly and, once they graduated from high school, he proposed. Natalie said yes and once they were of age, the couple got married.
Upon graduation, Ari decided to enrroll in college, deciding to take music as his major so he could continue preparing himself to be the best musician he could be, for himself, his mother, his country and his wife. Every now and then, heโd get gigs and he would write music for others here and there.
A few months before turning 20 Natalie shared some news with the family: she was pregnant. Aristรณteles couldnโt be more ecstatic, the love of his life and him were about to have a baby, his music career was slowly but surely getting off in the hardest city to conquer, everything was perfect. Isabella was born on a summer night, teaching both Nat and Ari the meaning of true love.
As things goes, happiness didnโt last long. On Ariโs 21st birthday, coming home from his celebration dinner on their way to pick up their daughter from Renataโs home, a car accident took Natalie from him. Aristรณteles spent a few weeks in the hospital, unsure what to do with himself now that he had lost the love of his life.
With Bella and Renataโs help, Aristรณteles left the hospital, busing himself with the care of his baby daughter. It took him years to go out and get help to move on from the heartbreak of losing Natalie and although he hasnโt recovered entirely, he is getting better.
Uninspired and bitter by the loss of his wife, Ari decided to quit music. There wasnโt much sense to him playing or writing, instead, he took part of the siblings he had from his glory days and open a business of his own: electric relaxation, music store where he buys, rents and trades new and used musical instruments, as well as records and booklets. He also gives guitar and piano lessons.ย

however, isabella is his greatest love. his daughter means THE WORLD to him and she has him around her finger no question. everything he does he does with her in mind. although his mom very lovingly nannies for him whenever he need some time to go out (bless renata, honestly), half of the time he is not with her he is thinking about her.
he does party. he LOVES PARTYING. not only is it in his blood but he often needs to let out some steam because life as a single parent is STRESSFUL.
probably has a lot of one stands or relationships that are non-committal. he has big baggage dragging so serious relationships are hard for him not impossible but HARD
man breathes, dreams, lives music. although he doesnโt write or play anymore (only for his daughter), his life revolves around music still. he plays a lot of instruments: guitar, piano, violin, ukelele, recorder, french horn, drums, harp, trumpet, bass, kalimba, xylophone... he loves music. he gives lessons for a portion of these instruments in his store too.ย ย
