Working on finding ways to release

my brother has mentioned to me over and over that i should get on tiktok

as a creative, and business owner, i'll do well there, he says

i don't doubt that what he says is true

i just don't fit into capitalism that way

it always feels icky to me - doing things for the express purpose of been seen so people will buy my stuff

but there's a reframing that's needed there - i'm working on it

i'll say this: tumblr was my safe space like twitter tried to be, except twitter had too many people on it that i knew

no bueno

i like being a stranger until i want to come out and play

so many THINGS!

that tumblr actually still exists. i'm inspired, confused and encouraged all at once

i used to write SO MUCH POETRY on here! And then I fell into the IG loop. And got lazy because reposting was so much easier. Where is the app that's part tumblr, part ommwriter?? is that substack??
