not to get totally sappy but ariana truly has been through hell and back and it really hits differently when she constantly turns her pain into beautiful performances and life lessons that’s she’s only grown from. the sweetener / thank u next era has been full of heartbreak but also the most rewarding and all of that was shown tonight as she sang thru the grief of losing a soul mate, ending an engagement, repairing a broken relationship with her father, but most importantly, finding and falling in love with herself through it all while being at the height of her career. i’ve said it a ton of times and will continue to say it forever but i am so so immensely proud of ariana and she could not symbolize ending this chapter in her life any better than she did tonight. her vulnerability and resilience are beautiful, admirable things that in very different ways have all made us grow and i could not be any more thankful for that
