when creative block isn't out to get me, i'm an artist and sometimes a writer. i'm also an amateur drummer (just recently been having lessons :D !).

i draw ocs and fandoms i like, and i’m a major possession whump and found family fluff enjoyer!

have been wanting to redesign them for a while, and i’m pretty happy with the result!

what if the king made a fake derlord to lure avery?

the derlord who found him in the library would’ve been a fake, perfectly designed to act, think, and talk just like derek.

or in the church, the king putting words into fake derlord’s mouth, telling avery how he means nothing and how worthless it was to save him.

or by the hall of golden doors, revealing his real name as a twisted way of giving avery a sense of comfort.

the king knows avery would do anything to save a man he barely knew. he clings on that hope, like a desperate fish to a hook. he senses avery’s very insecurities and doubts.

a shattered hope and a sense of uselessness...well, it’s a perfect recipe to bend the vessel to your will.

basically it’s where avery’s mind won over the fusion with the king, but not without some consequences...

difference between king avery (bad ending) and god/eldritch avery (good ending)

some tidbits:

- avery gains whatever powers king had. also very miniscule appearance change but idk if i'll change that anytime soon.

- his eldritch form (will be shown later) drives anyone who witnesses it into insanity. except for derlord, obviously already having a tainted mind.

- because of the fusion, avery gained infinite knowledge as a result. der has an all-knowing buddy now! unfortunately, this stresses avery the hell out.

- at first loved the idea of being god, but immediately came to regret that.
