ЧЕСТИТ 24ТИ МАЙ!!!

Happy 24th of May, the Day of Bulgarian alphabet and education. On this day we celebrate the memory and legasy of St Cyril, St. Methodius and their disciples. The Saint Brothers created the first bulgarian alphabet - the glagolic. Later St. Climent of Ochrid, one of their followers, created the Cyrilic alphabet by order of Tzar Simeon I The Great in the late 9th century which is still in use. Not only in Bulgaria, but also in this part of the world:

With the work of their life St. Cyril, St. Methodius and their disciples set the foundation of our culture and spread the Word of Christ all among the Central and Eastern and Southeastern Europe. The Saint Brothers are also Patrons of Europe.

3.02 Happy heavenly birthday to Mary Carlisle! Despite of her short career she was pinned to the top of the pre-code cinema. Mary Carlisle is best remembered for her performances alongside Bing Crosby. And she's my personal favorite 😃 Cheers!
