these are the concept screens for how you would go about setting the buses and bus stops you would use for the races.

Storyboard of images for advert, shows how the app would work, tells you when the bus is estimated at the stop etc. Need to make a few screens showing how you will set your buses and stops.

Bus Run, initial screens, includes start screen, menu and race screens. Will include retro game noises, cheering etc.

Ive found the other app boring, so I'm changing my idea to make the app a game, starting by looking at old game menus to give me inspiration.

I've also looked at pixel art and bitmap fonts to get a retro game feel to my app.

With live updates, was a similar sort of layout that i wanted mine to be, but I've now changed it.

Another app, this time for iPhone, and its even more similar to the sort of app i want to create, it includes the option to set an alarm for when you need to leave for the bus stop. 

This is very similar to the app i want to create, it gives live updates of bus times and locations of bus stops in the area. I want to make this easier than that though. I want to link all the features up to give you just the time that you need to leave your house.

Another intersting feature is that it can use your headphones to tell you your distance, speed etc. This could be an interesting feature for my app, but the voice would tell you the directions youre going to your bus stop.

my app version of the selection for buses on merseytravel. It fits in with the website, however i think it needs a few more tweaks to make it look better etc.

These maps are used in leaflets for each of the buses, showing you the timetables, the bus stops and a little map of the route, its basic, but not too basic. I will try to use these as inspiration for my map.
