WHILE I ATTEMPT TO DO STUFF FOR THE I-DONāT-KNOW-HOW-MANYETH TIME Figured that in the meantime Iād post some old, horribly unfinished, and severely cropped art, from couple of years ago.
A privately-owned modest library. Had an idea for Gal, being that in his pursuit of knowledge to hopefully aid him with his... ācurious circumstances concerning his aetherā (though having no idea where or what to look for specifically, aside from said knowledge being possibly found somewhere in the vast field of aetherology), as it were, he might have ended up as a librarianās assistant temporarily, granting him the opportunity to spend more time on that quest. The library, being privately-owned, would have also functioned as a safe haven of sorts, as his condition is of the nature where it demands to be kept a secret... Wanted to make said library, but itching to tear everything down again and do something else.
Once again tearing everything down to redecorate, posting screenshots of the current build here to catalogue it. Mayhaps Iāll end up posting drawing(s) again soon idk

Have had this build up for a while now but as always, I wanna tear shit down entirely and start anew again! As such, here are screenshots to remember it by. Not much to say about it. Initially I wanted to make something clean and sleek. Then it just kinda ended up being Amaurot-themed again.
As I am getting another decorating itch (and already have an idea for the next project as well), figured Iād post my current build here before tearing it down! Amaurot-inspired, took a couple of months to do, though only because there were a lot of pauses in the middle. Actual progress on it was probably made across one week at most.
Had originally opted to try to make Laurent Colbernouxās amazing aquarium windows, but eventually settled midway with just using the aquariums as aquariums and for their blue lighting, and make completely different windows with... a lot of....... small imitations windows....... and wooden handrails...... that was fun. Wouldāve liked to utilise way more of the space but... well, furnishing limitations as always, so had to cull a lot of the floor space, unfortunately.
This build will still be up for 2-4 weeks before disassembly, so if anyone would like to pay a visit and look around, youāre more than welcome to do so!

While I certainly havenāt been online for a while, I am familiar with the current controversy, discontent (to put it mildly) and what have you towards Tumblr. And I imagine that some are probably already sick and tired of seeing opinions and arguments thrown about left and right. As a person that enjoys artāregardless of whether itās sfw or nsfwāit absolutely does suck and frankly, itās sad to look over the list of people I follow and those that follow me and see a number of people that have been shadowbanned as evidenced by their avatars being changed to the default ones, and some pixelated ones popping up on the dashboardāsuch as @psionikubiā whose drawings I enjoy (very timidly) looking at! And since the staff has stated that this is going to continue for a few weeks at least, more will probably end up on that list as well. (As an addendum, this policy change is especially infuriating because of their incredibly specific censorship. The fuck is the difference between female nipples and male nipples. If I post a drawing of a nipple and itās only a nipple, can they differentiate the gender of it.....?) But worst of all, Tumblrās not the one thatās losing here. Itās the people and the communities that have been forced to, or decided to split apart in protest into a myriad of other social platforms which just hurts everyone involved. Donāt know if Iāll stick with Tumblr despite not being shadowbanned and probably wonāt be because the only nsfw Iām interested in drawing are just nudity, and maybe something bloody because redās a nice colour. Itās moreso because Tumblr is, as some call it, a blue hellsite, and you sometimes have to armwrestle with things to get them to work. But hey, I barely use Tumblr anyway so it wouldnāt make a difference. BUT! What I do currently use is Discord! If any of my followers or acquaintances would actually like to get a hold of me or invite to super-cool servers, feel free to send a message here! Even if youāve never talked to me before, thatās completely fine, I am an incredibly scary hermit after all. Just no pornbotsadbots pls, theyāre worse than I am at holding conversations.
Due to our situation getting worse, Iām forced to open a GoFundMe in order to eat and pay the rent in October.
As you may know my partnerās boss died June 28th. Since then, because the Father wanted to pressure the rest of family into knowing what was in the legacy, weāre waiting for everything to be solved so my partner can receive his lasts salaries. Added to this, due to the incompetence of the accountant, it took no less than two months and a half to receive the papers to unlock the unemployment care system.
Thus, since June, weāre living on $700 per month plus whatever I can collect through commissions.
The accountant and the notary told us that the situation would be solved at the end of this month.Ā We called them yesterday, now they arenāt sure anymore. Added to this, the unemployment help should have been given to my partner this month. Due to the accountant lack of care regarding the papers, this will be delayed of another month.
What could have help us would have been my handicap finally accepted as such. Of course, it didnāt happen and I will have to fight again for this.
We couldnāt pay the whole rent last month and have even less money to do so for the next. Everything I earned through my commissions have been used to fill the fridge so we could actually eat at least one meal every day this month. I have been working with social helpers to make sure that some bills will be taken care of, but itās not even sure that it will be accepted. I am so stressed and tired that my health has been declining great speed and I ended to apply for a social apartment after falling three times in the stairs (waiting time is over 7 years, so I donāt have much hope on that side).
We just canāt handle this anymore, it will soon be 4 months weāre living in a situation were we have less than $100 to live after paying the rent and we used all the fund we had to be able to survive this long without requesting too much help.
So Iām asking you.. If you have a little, even ā¬3 for a ko-fi or if you can spread this message, weāre in dire need of help now, weāre just stuck after so many months living with so few and donāt have any other way to survive through October.
Iāll try to contact those who will help us through GoFundMe to give them a little thing in exchange of their help, but I canāt promise for it to be soon as Iām preparing for Editober and my health isnāt at the best. An open question
This question is currently due to problems Iām having with art, but could well be applied to anything with creativity involved. SO! When youāre working on a piece, have you reached this weird point of āI like this/parts of this, itās nice and has potential but... what do I do now? What do I want to do now with this? Where do I go from here? How do I work on that potential? What.ā And have you managed to solve it? If so, what did you do? This isnāt the first time this has happened, but been staring at WIPs made over the course of 2-3 weeks and I like whatās there but... whaaat. EDIT 7/09: Thank you so much for the advice, will see if I can salvage them or parts of them for other works in the future, and not worry too much about the pieces in the present time!
