farmer au is all done! I finished a thing! I’m still hoping to write some seasonal oneshots but I’ve been wanting to work on something spicy first. And same with I found a reason—definitely not abandoned, I just have a lot going on 😅

And funny you should ask about chapter 2… it’s been slow going as we’ve both been wildly busy with work and weddings etc etc. but we’re nearing the finish line on the chapter! Just have some scenes to wrap up and final edits. We don’t have an exact date in mind, but pushing for the next few weeks if all goes well.

I have an idea in mind and I thought it might be a good idea sending it to you. It isn't something just for you as an author, but something to embrace all Damie authors, including me. It's been a while since I decided to write something for them (I usually do this as an anonymous author) and I realized how much I miss it sometimes seeing all the posts about the tv show anniversary.

We all agree that Dani and Jamie are something else right, something special. So what if every year during the Bly Manor's anniversary we try to write something for this fandom again? Like a gift to us all.

It's a way to not let this fandom be forgotten and also to feel that nostalgic feeling about a couple that is so fucking good and move us all in a special way

It's just an idea. I'll understand if it's not a good idea to you all.

I do think this is a lovely idea. I don’t know that I’ll be able to participate this year; I’m very much a mood writer, and I’m fixated on Yellowjackets and doubt I’ll be able to deviate. But maybe next year I can try to knock something out. If nothing else, I’m definitely going to do a rewatch. Bly remains one of my top five shows of all time, and I never miss an opportunity to put it back in my eyeballs.
