✧ i’m a gaijin gyaru from northern europe

✧ i don’t follow a specific substyle but i like tsuyome, onee and roma + 2000’s/2010’s fashion and aesthetics in general > ᴗ <

·˚ ༘ i post my own gyaru looks and inspo/tutorials ᥫ᭡.

STEP 1 (optional): insert enlarging contact lenses (mine are colorvue sweet honey)

STEP 2: apply a matching bb cream for a not-too-heavy shiro gal look

STEP 3: contour your nose and eyes (& i also do my lips), i use a greyish brown countour stick for this

STEP 4: use a matte highlight to contrast with the contour, i use either eyeshadow, a white kajal, nyx jumbo crayon or a combination

STEP 5: apply dark eyeshadow/kajal to create the shape of your eye/droop

STEP 6: use a mid brown eyeshadow to blend the dark shadow

STEP 7: use a light peachy eyeshadow to blend all the eyeshadow + add some blush

STEP 8: draw on some eyebrows, i use a blond eyeshadow shade lol

STEP 9: line the eye, draw the droop and add a wing (optional)

STEP 10: highlight the nose (heavily, like a nose stripe), cheeks and under the eyebrows, i also add some on my eyelids

STEP 11: add spiky top lashes

STEP 12: add fluffier lashes to make them more dramatic

STEP 13: add bottom lashes

STEP 14: apply nude lipstick and lipgloss (i like using a brown or peachy lip gloss to keep the lips light but match them to the rest of my make)

(i don’t think clothing that’s inherently gyaru exists (outside alba rosa coats etc) but i feel these could be used for different substyles! imo thrift stores are (heisei) gyaru heaven)

𓏲ּ𝄢 lash:

shisheido eyelash curler (✮ big rec for deep set/almond shape eyes !!)

essence lash princess sculpted volume mascara

kicks wet look lashes

duo brush on lash glue

𓏲ּ𝄢 lip:

1* use a dark kajal to line your eye and draw the shape of your droop (i’m doing a pretty straight droop that follows the shape of my eye)

2* go over the shape with a small brush and dark/black eyeshadow (i also added a wing and an eyebag)

3* use a dark brown/gray eyeshadow to blend some hard edges and create depth on your lid and crease

4* use a light shimmery eyeshadow/highlighter on the inner part of both your eyelid and the eyebag

5* curl your lashes and add mascara on top and bottom lashes (don’t use any on the bottom lashes that go ”inside the droop”)

6* use a liquid eyeliner to make the eyeshape more clear

7* add spiky lashes on the top

8* draw on or add bottom lashes
