Sacred Twenty-Eight pureblood families + family mottos
IF YOU HAVE POC / NON-CHRISTIAN MUSES AND YOU HAVE DONE NO RESEARCH FOR THEM THEN GET OUT OF MY BLOG.     THIS ALSO GOES TO PEOPLE WHO ARE OKAY WITH THAT.     let me get something straight.       every country,      every religion,      every fucking non-american or non-white person has a life.      we donât just exist.      as an egyptian,      iâve seen a few people who write muses from here in two (or more really,     but iâm naming the most important parts) as either the bad character BECAUSE WOW!!!!     THATâS HOW THE WHOLE WORLD SEES US!!!!     or as some character who has not been thought about well (and i mean research wise) and muns like me and other people have to constantly correct them.
LETâS GET SOMETHING STRAIGHT!!!!    ITâS NOT OUR JOB TO CORRECT YOU GUYS.     Â
do your research.      and honestly,     i donât give a shit about the people who do this but this is so fucking rude and disrespectful.    it really just wipes us out or something.       if you do not have the knowledge,     resources,    research,    or writing skills to write people who are different from you,     then donât.       i really donât fucking care about the whole âbut i canât just write white characters!â.      donât disrespect us just so you can seem good.     donât do it for the points.      if you,     as a white writer,      decide to write people of a different hue to yourself then you should do your damnedest to get it right.
and when we,      as the real pocs here,     come to you and tell you that youâre doing it wrong,      then you ARE doing it wrong.     donât fucking tell us youâre not because we wouldnât come to you just to annoy you or something.     Â
and before asking a poc about something,      do your research.      iâve seen so many people be like âtell me about being xâ.      in another words, you didnât do your research.       youâre asking for a mountain of info which you could have used the internet for.       hint : sociology,     history,     etc. will give you the inside before you ask those questions.        books,     tv shows and movies and all of that stuff made by people like us have it.     WIKIPEDIA FUCKING HAS IT.     exactly why arenât you consuming those things in the first place and claiming your white bubble?
yeah so ill be archiving my blogs again. i dont know if it helps or if its just me trying to find something to do rn but i need to clean up again and not be here like this. so ill find a way to answer the rest of my memes , or at least the ones iâm gonna keep and then ill figure out replies later.Â

ambrose + fleeing with his mother
fleeing with his mother is probably the easiest thing that avery ever had to do. he is the most special case amidst the death eaters in my opinion because his innate need to be good and his obsessive compulsion to sabotage himself.Â
so his dad is a death eater / knight of walpurgis , and that obviously is the beginning and the end of any discussion regarding averyâs future , which he doesnât care much for either way because heâs more or less a nihilist , and this world that they occupy means next to nothing to him.Â
his mother loves him. he loves his mother. Asana actively combatted her husbandâs plans to hand their son over to be a soldier. now donât get her wrong. she values blood purity as much as the next person , but she values her son more. and he feels the same way about her.Â
i wonât get into his relationship with his dad or what happens to avery sr. right now , but the point is that during the war , avery does a lot of things he hates himself for , even more he can never forgive himself for , and more still that he wishes he could take back. and the moment voldemort is gone , it is an out for him. it is. he wants out. he doesnât want to go to prison. he doesnât want to rot in a cell. and he doesnât want to leave his mother alone because his fatherâs dead by then âwinksâ and ambrose is all she has left.
so he runs. he packs up a few things , takes his mamaâs hand , and he runs. and itâs easy because their family is so vast. the avery family has been a staple in the british pureblood society for centuries , sure , but unlike many other families that can say this , they span nations. and most of his motherâs and fatherâs immediate relatives either still live in or have moved back to other places in eastern europe and south asia.Â
so they move for awhile before they settle in with relatives in pakistan. and the thing about it is that , with only his mother , avery is at his best. he sheds the mask he was forced to wear âboth literally and figurativelyâ in britain. he feels no need to be wicked , and he and his mother are genuinely happy. but the nightmares are there. the ghosts are there. his fatherâs voice still echoes in his ears every now and again. basically , life away from britain is better , but so much of britain comes with them that ambrose can never truly forget where heâs just come from and what heâs done.Â
now people probably do look for him. barty certainly does once heâs out , but averyâs burrowed so deeply off the radar and underneath it that itâs impossible to find him. but honestly , there is not one day in his time away that he does not consider leaving in the middle of the night and going back. to what ? he doesnât know. but he had friends. cassius was his friend , no matter how horrible an influence he was , no matter how many times he nearly costed ambrose his life. but he stayed away for as long as he could , and that was all for his mother. if he didnât have the bond with her that he had , heâd have been dead or in prison early on.Â
teddy + feelings about war, what hearing about the war is like for him, etc
conversations about the war breed both excitement and dread , pride and shame , interest and disgust. for teddy , the war is his mother and his father , literally and figuratively. it is what he was birthed from. it was where he was conceived. his first breaths were filled with the rubble and ruin of the war. itâs forever festering in his lungs , and he became acutely aware of it early on.
first and foremost , no matter how hard andromeda âand later harryâ tried to shield him , every time he left the house he was confronted with what the war was supposed to mean to him. they could not keep him from every single one of those conversations , and so he began to field them young. he had to. even if he couldnât fully process the information. even if he was not completely capable of expressing his thoughts or emotions about it. he heard all about it again and again , and while for the most part , he delighted in being able to hear about his parents , sometimes itâs exhausting.Â
now let me tell you , remus and dora did one hell of a job in picking teddyâs godfather. because harry GETS IT. harry understands this. and harry is able to alleviate the worst parts of these emotions. he is the first one to take teddy aside , just before he leaves for hogwarts , and have an honest conversation about the war. he takes teddyâs questions. he explains exactly what happened to remus and dora. and he explains what the war meant to people like harry , like hermione and ron , like the weasleys , like his grandmother. he says what he can about big ted and dora , and he speaks about his experiences with remus. harry beats around the bush a lot initially , but after remembering the struggle of having to show up at school and be pummeled with information and being asked questions he couldnât answer , he eventually just gave teddy everything that he could.Â
so overall , it really depends on the person. teddy is proudest when he hears about the war from his godfather. teddy feels the most grief when he hears stories from his grandmother. teddy feels the most excitement when ron tells him stories about the war. teddy feels the most connected when he hears about the war from hermione. and teddy feels the most frustrated when he hears about the war from a stranger.Â
and as he grows up , more details are allowed. harry answers harder question as does andromeda although there are still things she canât talk about. itâs harry who tells teddy about his grandmotherâs sisters , about who killed dora , about why it was the way it was in the best way he can. and teddy knows he will never fully comprehend why the war happened or why it took his parents from him , but harry is exactly like him. the only difference is that harry didnât have a godfather who could guide him through this. he didnât have a family that loved him. teddy does. and that makes it easier to hear all of the horrors that will forever be associated with him and harry alike.Â
if viktor could go back and relive one moment of his life, what would it be?
okay so iâve actually discussed this in private but never in public and i should have but here it goes.
so the wizarding war in britain resonated with viktor deeply not only due to the connections he still held there but because he knows what war and general political conflict âboth magical and muggle if you know a thing or two about bulgariaâ can do to a country , to its people. he also knows what the lasting effects can look like and feel like , and even now , this dark cloud forever hangs over not only his home but also his school , and the distance between the two do little to alleviate that.Â
during the war , he helped aid and abed muggleborns fleeing prosecution. he reached out to bill and fleur , to people heâd played quidditch with , to anyone really that he believed would either need his help or who would know people that would need his help. he smuggled so many wizards and witches , many who had either had their wands confiscated already or who were being watched all too closely , and he did what he could for the war effort despite his own magical government wanting nothing to do with this war.Â
so heâs doing this thing , this one good thing , but it costs him. and it costs him dearly. it costs him so much that for the longest time , he regrets ever helping at all. because while heâs out doing this , his only sister and his only sibling in general is abducted. from their home. in bulgaria. no note , no demands , no reason whatsoever. and viktor becomes so paranoid because it could be so many people. death eaters , the british ministry , the BULGARIAN magical government as punishment for him defying their orders , the muggle government. and no one comes forth about it. no one gives any information. sheâs missing for the better part of five months , and while viktorâs father demands he keep it quiet so that they might better find out who had anything to do with it themselves , viktor slowly begins to pull away from the war effort. granted , it doesnât last much longer than that , but it takes a great toll on him.
weeks after the war , they discover his sisterâs body , killed by magic and with no evidence as to who it was. and itâs still this mystery he is obsessed with solving although it becomes pretty evident that this was so much bigger than him. so if there is anything he regrets , it is not worrying more about his little sister , not paying more attention to her and what she was doing , not taking further precautions when he started smuggling. he was so worried about hermione and gabrielle and fleur and even harry that he didnât think to look over his shoulder at his own family. and his mother still holds a grudge with him quietly. his father still blames him , and he can feel it. it strips him of so much , and itâs something he would give anything to take back , letting his sister get abducted right under his nose.Â
so itâs not so much a single moment , but itâs very much a grand series of them. he doesnât really think in moments. that isnât something he fixates on. he looks at big pictures , which isnât the best or worst thing , but thatâs just how he works.Â
caediteosâ.
âYou would know â you put the clothes there, not me.â Laughing then, she swung the piece of cloth before his eyes on the tips of her fingers. âYou know, I think itâs usually the other way around, but â good on you, defying gender stereotypes. Iâll stick them in my pocket, but be warned, youâll never EVER, EVER, get them back now.â
" excuse you , half my shirts that end up here were STOLEN. by you, you scallion. " sweeping her up in his arm without warning , he peppers her face with kisses , a thorough assault from every angle before he gives it a rest. " ooh , why , are you gonna wear those around too ? kinky. don't let anyone find out then , yeah ? it would be a real scandal. not even living together and already wearing each other's knickers. "
jonas + his mortality. is he aware of it? does it scare him? how does he feel about death?
jonasâs mortality is the . . . furthest thing from his mind at all times which is probably literally his cause of death in the way but anyway.Â
i wouldnât call him reckless. jonas has to be one of my most calculating characters. heâs always thinking. everything he does is a chess game , and it is the one singular trait he pitches to his children above all else. never run in head first , but think with your head first. so it isnât recklessness so much as it is a peace with death if you will.Â
he knows his job is dangerous. he knows what might happen any given day. he knows what war is about and what may or may not become of him. he knows how it affects his children and his wife. he also knows what it might cost so many others if he were to sit down and turn a cheek. that isnât in his blood. it is not in his genes to be able to look away from a conflict âeven though it probably WOULD NOT affect him and his pureblood , wealthy familyâ while others are suffering. and his wife constantly tries to dull that in him , and she has her own reasons for that , but it becomes this thing where the worse things get , the more active he becomes.Â
he has no qualms about dying for a cause he wholeheartedly believes in. he is dedicated to winning this war and saving as many lives as he possibly can. he wants the world to be safer for his children. he doesnât want to have to mold them into bad people just so they can survive. heâs not going to tell his daughters âstay away from mugglebornsâ just so theyâll be safer. he wonât look his son in the eye and offer apathy as a shield. he canât do that. no matter how much augusta may want him to. no matter how neutral she tries to be. she knows who she married , and she married a good man.Â
so it never scares him. it never makes him hesitate. heâs the guy running into burning buildings and falling rubble to save someone else. he knows how important his life is. he knows how much it is worth. he loves his children more than anything in the world , and he knows what it would do to them if he didnât come home. when he finally does die , heâs just glad that theyâre , for the most part save frank , are grown and have all the lessons he thinks they need to have in order to succeed. he will never know about the wrestle with morality frank went through the first several years after his death. he will never know how reckless one daughter became and how ruthless the other can be now. but in the end , all three of his children were relatively good people. his grandson is a good person. his wife is still living. the war eventually ends because of these generations he leaves behind. and that would be enough for him.Â
he isnât afraid of death. heâs afraid of dying for nothing , and he made sure to never get close to that.Â

meta ab neville + teaching herbology
let me preface this by saying that neville doesnât start teaching at hogwarts until heâs well on in years. heâs no younger than forty when he begins teaching , and even when he first begins teaching , itâs not consistent or permanent. he commits to being auror. he commits to helping kingsley clean up the ministry. he takes his position very seriously , and he becomes one of the greatest aurors the wizarding world has ever known since , you know , alastor moody and his parents. he does help rebuild the school , and he ensures that the ministry no longer interferes with the studies of children. he basically blocks and barricades any chance anyone thinks of having to get in minerva mcgonagallâs way, and thatâs just that.Â
now itâs not that he never wanted to teach because he ALWAYS wanted to teach , but it wasnât the right time for him. he had a bigger purpose , a calling if you will , and it wasnât to follow in his parentsâ footsteps or shine their legacy. it was to make sure that the sacrifices of himself , his family , and all of his friends were not in vain. yes , of course , neville wanted to prove himself. he went into auror training with both a lot of confidence and a lot of feeling like he had not yet done enough. and teaching would always be there. he visited hogwarts often , always checking in on things. he kept in touch with who he could and maintained his ties to his school.Â
by the time he does resort to teaching , heâs had a full career in the auror department. he was its head for several years and then the head of the entire law enforcement department, and he helped overhaul nearly every department and office within his own department because he felt that was a necessary thing to do. he feels accomplished. heâs seen so much, and heâs done so much , and by the end of it , heâs convinced he doesnât owe anyone else anything else.Â
now teaching is his passion. absolutely , at the end of the day , neville wants to HELP. and he wants to give students a better experience than many of the ones he had in school. he wants to be a good teacher , a helpful teacher , and he wants to ensure that every child that comes through his classroom âand , eventually , his house when he takes over head of gryffindor because who else would really?â feels welcome and safe and cherished for their skills rather than discredited for their flaws. neville is so damn jolly and happy and comfortable in and out of his skin when he goes back to hogwarts. heâs a role model. heâs a friend. heâs a confidante. heâs everything you would want in a teacher you see for seven years , and he loves going to work every single day.Â
and the plus about it all is that he gets to relive his days in hogwarts in a way where he isnât being bullied. he isnât walking into a classroom terrified. he isnât being looked down upon or undermined or taken advantage of.
every single day , in hogwarts and this house , we celebrate neville fucking longbottom.Â
meta ab angelina + her parents + overall familial dynamic
so i had not , up to this point , truly nailed anything down , and i take full advantage of that because now i get to build this shit from scratch. and it could change later , but based on the kind of person angelina is , i , at the very least have a vague idea of how the family dynamic looks.
her father is an african - american muggle ( hailing from , sadly , deep south mississippi ) , her mother a biracial woman ( a squib , although she wasnât aware of this ) from south of london , and they met when Leon Johnson was deployed to europe at the age of 24. Leon tried to bring Arlene Pierce back stateside once he finished out his tour , but Arlene was not having it. Sheâd built a life here , opened a bookstore near her old neighborhood , and was unwilling to leave. Leon left , but he returned after he finished his service , and the two were wed. Shortly thereafter , Arlene became pregnant with the first of three of Angelinaâs older siblings , Darius Johnson.Â
Angelina is the fourth of five children , and only three out of five of these children show any magical ability. Her brother , Darius , attends Hogwarts but leaves two years prior to Angelinaâs arrival. He is sadly killed during the first war working within the ministry. Evelyn Johnson , the second oldest of the Johnson children , also attends Hogwarts and shares Angelinaâs first three years with her. She was the quidditch captain prior to Oliver Wood. The third oldest Johnson , Tyron , also has no magical ability but has never felt left out by his siblings. He has a successful academic career back at home , and he eventually goes to university to study bioengineering.Â
Angelinaâs youngest brother , Leon Jr. , is four when Angelina goes off to school , but he has never shown an ounce of magical ability. But after Darius is accepted into Hogwarts , Arleneâs father gives his daughter a box of letters revealing that her mother was a witch , but sheâd given up magic to be with her husband and raise their family. It allows Arlene to be more encouraging and supportive of her children , both magical and non , but Leon is never comfortable at all with the idea of their children being witches and wizards , and itâs evident in the days immediately preceding or following their arrivals from and departures to school. When Darius is killed , any tolerance that Leon had is destroyed , and it becomes a constant fight between him and his family as he attempted to stop his children from returning to that world. It , of course , doesnât work.Â
When Angelina is sixteen , just shy of finishing school , her mother becomes severely ill. When no muggle doctors can help her , she turns to magic , which becomes another point of contention between her and her father as well as her brother Tyron , who is skeptical about the methods used. Ultimately , neither world is able to save Arlene , and Leon is still angry with his daughter when she sends him and her youngest brother into hiding during the second war. He didnt ask her to stay this time , and so she didnât even consider it , returning to the wizarding world and eventually participating in the final battle.Â
After the war , Evelyn and Angelina both return home , and they try to mend what was broken within their family. Angelina , rather than work in the wizarding world , takes over her motherâs bookstore full time with Leon Jr. , and they find some semblance of peace as a family. And honestly I actually had written a bit in her verses I realize so this honestly was twice as sad as I ever meant to be and Iâm a little bit sorry.Â
