Carefully handing the baby over to her lover she smiled seeing the two of them interacting. It was hard having him disappear for a few months for she had to care for Clarissa on her own, but Barry was here now and that’s all that mattered. Taking a seat on the edge of the bed Donna played with her necklace. “She has missed you so much. I’ve been having Clarissa sleeping in bed with me lately so I know that she is safe, plus I hated sleeping alone.” The infant seemed to calm down once she heard the familiar voice and face of her father, squirming around slightly in his arms.

He can feel his chest and throat tighten as he holds her in his arms. His daughter, his princess How could he abandon her like that? How could have put Donna through so much as well? Barry leans to press his lips lightly on his daughter's forehead as she squirmed slightly. at his cool wet lips.  "I'm sorry         " Barry lifts his head, his feet dragging on the floor to sit right next to her. Bouncing their daughter as he did so. "I'm so sorry...."

Donna gently rocked her 9 month old daughter trying to get her to stop crying. “There, there Clarissa…no need to cry. Mommy is here to take care of you.” Pacing around the nursery she sang a Greek lullaby that the infant always fell asleep to, yet after five minutes it didn’t seem to be helping. Carrying her out of the room she took her down the hall to the master bedroom where Barry was at. “Do you think you could calm our crying princess? I think she needs her daddy.”

His back is turned from the door as he looks for a shirt to slip on. His hair is still very wet from the shower      his skin a lightish pink color from the hot water. He didn't hear the cries from when he was showering, not until a loud pitched whine became louder and louder. Barry turns on his feels fast. His eyes darting towards his lover and his baby. "Aw... What's wrong my princess?" His brows furrow     he knows it's not going to be the last time he hears her cry in her life. And he knows it's going to hurt a lot more the older she gets. Barry reaches gently for the baby. Taking her into his arms as he gently bounced her up and down. "What's wrong? Hmm?..."
