of course, the college student is both blind & deaf to the disturbance she is being. insensitivity has always run in her veins, indeed; evident in the number of children that she brought to tears back in kindergarten (and onward.) but in her defense, the stranger doesn't seem bothered at all, & she is too excited about the prospect of jam.

trust me, actual grora is way more sensitive than modern!grora.

     for here comes earthquakes incarnate,      & the early hour muddles her lips with what      else but impatience, & now she jogs north      towards the stranger without waiting for an      answer with squinted eyes. for she's too far      to see clearly, but something about that      stance is familiar..

     & tailing is an innocent curve of pale, wan      lips; because startling a perfect stranger      on a park bench with an (admittedly) strident      query is acceptable, of course.
