A/n : I had really bad week after amazing two weeks of January. I have been trying to gain some inspiration for weeks .let’s hope this works. Not my gifs. Show some love please.
You and Tom have been friends since ages, have continued being friends even though both of you have busy schedules. Tom has his movie and promotional shoots and you have work commitments being a doctor.
But you guys never forgot your age old ritual. Once every three months you guys have a weekend retreat. You forget the world , catch up to each other’s lives and snuggle up and catch your breathes.
Recently though, it had been different. You both had skipped last two meetings cuz of some reason or the other and now you were dating a fellow doctor and were introducing him to your parents and the meet-up was about to get cancelled for the third time.
You had this nervous energy building up inside you as you waited for Tom to call you back post reading your text.you hadn’t told him about your so called boyfriend that your parents bullied you into having or the fact that you were going to have to cancel meeting each other after almost 9 months. You had no idea how these 9 months had been for Tom.
As your phone ringed , you leapt to answer it, you saw Tom with a dog on the video call. He said to the dog pointing to the screen,“ hey tessa, look mommy!! Look ..mommy!! We are going to meet mommy soon. ” And with that Tessa ran out of Tom’s hold leaving a beaming Tom for you.
You were so shocked at this whole situation before you. Tom looked confused at your expression obviously expecting a whole different level of reaction from you. He asked,“ err, hi? Are you ok ? U seem shocked! ” Looking as confused as ever.
You shook your head , trying to get out of the initial shock and smiled. “ Hi ! ” You replied sheepishly. “ Yeah, I am ok.. just not used to being referred as mommy! Never had a pregnancy scare before ” you laughed trying to lighten the mood.
Tom laughed as well . So you gathered up your courage and tried giving him the news. “ Umm, sorry Tom , we might have to cancel it this time as well , I have this family commitment that I can’t get out of.”
“oh common, what family commitment of yours is this? do you want me to call your dad? You are just being lazy! I know you. So get your ass off the couch and get ready to meet us. Don’t you want to meet our love child” Tom seemed to ignore your predicament.
You gulped at the reference to the lovechild. It had taken you years to get over your bigger than your height crush over Tom . All your family knew it, they had teased you too since forever and all that teasing had lead to you crying over Tom’s dates in your room. So you had decided you wanted distractions of your own and hence your endless series of boyfriend uptil the end of your med school. You had grown tired of hiding it , your love for Tom during your meet ups. Initially they had been a monthly ritual and you used to fight in the hospital or work extra to get your those days off but soon the rituals seemed more of a endurance test for you. How much more could you curb your jealousy at the wonderful stories about celebrity crushes and marvellous model dates that Tom had. You tried competing with your own love life stories but the green eyed monster would always win. So it became a once in three months thing but now it seemed that it might turn into an yearly meet.
You shook out of your thoughts and gave Tom a nervous smile. “ Tom , I am dating someone now and he is coming over to meet the family . We will have to cancel it. Maybe next time I will come over to your place when you are free. ”
Tom seemed taken back at the words that came out of your mouth. He didn’t know how to react to this. He thought he finally had the courage to ask you out. He also had found Tessa for you, he had searched and searched all those months when you guys couldn’t meet and found the pet he knew you would love. He adopted her and hope that when he asked you out, you would love them both and just everything would be perfect.

Tom Holland hadn’t thought this through! What would he do now? He was just frozen on his seat as he sat infront of you and your entire family. The people he had grown around and the one who were staring at him confused. He had decided to show up at your doorstep as you were about to introduce your boyfriend to the family. You were a nervous wreck. You weren’t worried that your family wouldn’t like the guy, ofcourse they would since they were the ones who forced you into this. You were freaking out about the brown curly mop of hair sitting in the living room in front of your family.
You decided to break the silence and stood up. “ Um ..Tom would you help me a little fixing my room? I need to get something from the upper shelf!”.
Tom jumped at this opportunity and looked at you in relief. He stood up and followed you to your room. He had been in this room a million times before but today it felt amazing and awkward both at the same time. He felt like he had known you for ages and was also seeing for the first time .
You motioned for him to sit on the bed and you yourself sat at the edge. As he sat down and looked at you, he could see you were nervous as well. this was new to you both. Never had the silence been to long between you both, not even the comfortable ones.
You knew your feelings were running amok but you were surprised to see them being mirrored by Tom. This realisation had taken you by surprise. you were dieing of curiosity to know why Tom had really shown up.
As you opened your mouth to speak , your phone buzzed with the message from your lover boy. He was nearly at the door. “He is here, I think I should get changed” with this, you stood up and went towards your cupboard. Tom hadn’t moved an inch , hadn’t said a word and this was killing you. You moved to the bathroom to get dressed. Your blue dress had a zipper that you needed help with.
Under other circumstances, you would have screamed for your mom but as you peered from your bathroom door Tom had made himself comfortable. You slowly came out from the bathroom and nervously stood next to the mirror and cleared your throat. Tom looked at you with a raised eyebrow.
You turned around giving him a view of your back with zip lieing open near the lower part. He stood up from the bed inching towards you. You slightly shivered as his cold fingertips touched your skin. You slightly arched your back at the touch waiting for him to pull the zip up. But that never happened.
Tom suddenly felt brave. He had you in his grasp, at his mercy ,for this moment meant something for sure. He couldn’t just lose the confidence he had just gained as he touched your back and suddenly he brought his lips closer to your skin.
There was a kiss. A gentle reminder of his lips at the nape of your neck as his hands hugged you from behind.
The sudden warmth from his body behind melted the initial cold reaction of shock. Your body relaxed into his and a small smile played on your lips.
You asked him, “ Tom ,why haven’t you zipped me up?”
“ I would have , if only you had asked! ”.
And Tom continues the kisses.
A/n : it seems long. I don’t know. Gif not mine. Please be gentle

a/n : again, i don’t own any charecter of the show lucifer from the fox network . my first reader insert. i hope someone reads this and is happy.also not my gifs. Thank you
summary: a jealous lucifer, fluff lucifer , very little angst
The elevator door open and she walked in the residential suite of lux, it had been months now , she had been sharing room with the devil himself.
She wasn’t tipsy as such but the heels she was wearing were killing her feet. It wasn’t her idea to begin with, Linda had decided it was better for her to get back to the dating scene and so she had agreed.
Chloe and Linda had helped her get dressed for this date, totally not her style, wearing a high slit dress nd 6 inch pumps, heck she was a vans kinda girl!.
As she entered the living area , her eyes caught a brooding Lucifer sitting by the bar drinking, radiating anger by his demeanor. She decided to go sit next to him . “Why do you seem so hot and bothered Lucifer? did Chloe do something now? ” she prodded him lightly knowing well not to test his boundaries.
Lucifer was quick to loose his temper but never in front of her. He had always made sure of that considering he had saved her from a very abusive boyfriend and it really took her sometime to open up after.
Lucifer did not answer her question but started pouring another drink for himself. she took a deep breathe and snatched away the glass from his grasp. “what do you want to know? ” she knew how to get a reaction out of him. “What is bothering you luci?” she leaned against his shoulder patting his arm. This seemed to relax Lucifer a little. “How was your date with that human ? ” “Oh! is this what is bothering you and making you brood?? ” she turned to him questioning.
“You did not reply to my question, how was it ? is there another on the card?“Lucifer asked again now mildly annoyed at her. "Nope, he couldn’t hold my attention for long, i don’t think i am going to waste another evening with him, i had rather stay here and watch you play!”
“ But you wore a dress, this dress.. and shoes you don’t even like” countered lucifer again.
“Exactly Luci, i don’t want to dress up as a doll for someone who doesn’t appreciate the fact that this was me putting efforts in the date” she replied with her brows furrowed. It wasn’t a bad date, not at all, just that she couldn’t get someone out of her head and spent the entire date cursing Linda for making her do this.
“I would have , you know” lucifer smiled for the first time this evening. He grabbed hold of her and pulled her to their favourite couch. “Aren’t you sleepy Luci ? Decker will kick your ass if you are late again” she asked him all the while making herself comfortable on the couch and leaning in on Lucifer. This was not something out of the normal for them, they had snuggled plenty of times on this very couch, but it felt different today! It could have been because she realised it was not just a small measly crush on him but a full fledged complex feeling of longing and wanting something more out of their friendship.
Lucifer kissed her forehead and sighed contently watching a tv show that they sometimes used to catch together. She mumbled ,“yes i would go out with u! ”
Lucifer looked at her shocked and sputtered “ umm. what? what are you saying? ” owing a chuckle from her.
She turned to him and looked him in the eye with a small blush creeping her cheeks and said,” i heard you talking to the mirror in the morning silly,so yes! i would like to go out but..“
It took a moment for Lucifer to recover from what he had heard just now. He had been trying to muster enough courage to ask her out since weeks. It was very unlike Lucifer, Lucifer was used to outrageous flirting with the other sex and everyone’s attention but here he was nervous for asking a friend out. A friend who he had recently realised he may have feelings for.
"There is a but ? Why?” she saw his expressions change from excitement to confusion as he asked her this.
She chuckled and replied “but you have to tell me something that i have been dieing to ask you!”
She got on to his lap straddling him, held his face in her hands looking in to his eyes with a twinkle in her own , and asked,“ so tell me Mr. Morningstar, what is it that you desire above all?”
It was as if he was in her trans and then lucifer finally smiled, like something clicked in his head, like he found the answer he had been looking for.
He pulled her towards him, and said “you my love, and no one else ! ” and kissed her.
Literally. It was in your nickname on campus: Charmlight. You could bend light, make it shimmer, refract, sparkle, and if you really wanted to, use it to distract, dazzle, or disorient someone. Basically, weaponised glitter.
You used to joke that you weren’t dangerous, just aesthetic.
But that was before everything went to hell.
Before the woods. Before Elmira. Before Sam Riordan became a name everyone whispered about for reasons that made your stomach twist.
Now, a year later, the world looked different. Godolkin University had rebuilt. Students strutted around like the massacre never happened. And Sam, Sam, was one of them again.
No longer the haunted boy you’d once found hiding in the labs, trembling and wild-eyed. Now he was a name on posters, a Supe who’d fought beside Homelander, whose nervous grin was plastered on Vought’s PR feeds. Everyone wanted to talk to him. Everyone but you.
You’d tried. You’d waved. You’d smiled. He never waved back.
So you stopped trying.
You didn’t get sent to Elmira, but you may as well have. You stopped showing up to labs, skipped training sessions, stopped answering messages.
Being near Sam hurt too much, the boy who’d once held your hand in the dark now standing beside Homelander, the monster who made your stomach twist with fear.
So when this new semester started, you promised yourself: no more Sam Riordan.
And for a while, you kept that promise.
You hung out with Marie and Jordan and Emma again when they came back from Elmira, it felt safe, familiar, even if everything still buzzed with unspoken tension. And then there was Greg.
Greg with the shy smile and the plant powers and the voice that always went soft when he said your name. Greg who showed up to lab with coffee for both of you. Greg who made you laugh when everything else felt heavy.
He made you laugh. He called you “princess” because of your bratty attitude when something doesn't go your way. He bought you cherry sodas from the vending machine after training. It was easy with him. Safe.
Until Sam came back.
Now he was everywhere. In the quad, at team meetings, on the stupid supe social feed. Godolkin’s golden boy, the reformed rebel. Everyone loved him he was popular.
Vought-polished, interview-ready, walking God U’s campus with Cate and the Homelander crowd like he’d been rewritten. Students stared when he passed; professors pretended not to.
Except he wasn’t looking at the cameras.
He was looking at you.
You could feel it, the burn of his stare from across the training hall, the way his jaw clenched when Greg’s hand brushed yours, the way he suddenly started hanging around the group again, pretending it was coincidence.
You tried to ignore it. Tried to smile when Greg leaned close, explaining how his kinetic field worked, tried not to flinch when you caught a flash of blonde hair and blue eyes in the mirror.
But Sam noticed everything.
The way you laughed too hard at Greg’s jokes. The way Greg touched your elbow when you passed through a crowd. It made something in Sam tighten.
Something ugly, new, and raw.
Every time Sam saw you two together, his jaw would tick. He’d tear open cans of energy drink like they’d offended him, shove his hands in his pockets, pretend he didn’t care.
You told yourself you understood.
He’d been through hell.
But understanding didn’t make the quiet sting any less.
When the group finally ended up in Stan Edgar’s bunker, half refuge, half prison, you hadn’t expected to talk to him at all.
The bunker smelled like metal and dust and too many people in one small space. Dust hung in the air like static. Dust hung in the air like static.
You sat cross-legged on an old couch, tapping your nails against your phone screen, trying not to think about the way Sam paced nearby in a white tank top, muscles catching the dim light.
Emma was talking to Jordan. Marie and her sister were arguing quietly. It should have felt crowded, but all you could feel was him.
The tall, restless boy on the other side of the room.
Sam looked different now, steadier, but still dangerous in a way that made your chest feel too tight. He ran a hand through his hair, then looked straight at you.
He didn’t say your name at first; he just looked at you.
That look you used to know, the one that saw straight through your glittery armour, except now it was sharper. You could feel it like static crawling up the back of your neck.
You focused on your phone screen, scrolling absolutely nothing, pretending not to notice. It didn’t help.
“Something funny?” Sam’s voice broke the low murmur in the room.
You startled. “Huh? Oh—no, I’m just—” You dropped your phone. It hit the floor, clattering against the concrete. Perfect.
When you bent to grab it, he was already there, crouched, picking it up in one easy movement. Up close, he was all warm skin and restless energy; that faint scent of metal and soap. He handed it back, eyes unreadable.
“You drop things a lot when I’m around,” he said. Not mean, not teasing. Just a statement.
You tried to laugh. “Gravity hates me.”
His mouth twitched, not quite a smile. “Greg doesn’t seem to mind it.”
You froze, clutching your phone. “Greg?”
“Yeah,” he said, leaning back against the wall, crossing his arms. The motion made the fabric of his tank stretch, his forearms tight, veins standing out. “He’s always around you lately.”
You forced a bright, brittle laugh. “We’re friends. Remember those?”
“I remember,” he said, and the way he looked at you made your pulse jump. “Just didn’t think you needed new ones.”
“Sam.” You sighed, voice soft, trying to sound calm. “You can’t be mad at me for moving on.”
“I’m not mad.” His jaw flexed. “Just weird watching someone else get what I—” He stopped himself, breathing hard through his nose.
You blinked, heart hammering. “What you what?”
He looked away, toward the far wall where Emma and Jordan were laughing about something, then back at you. “Forget it.”
You took a step closer before you could think better of it. “No. Finish that sentence.”
His eyes found yours again, darker now, something raw flickering behind them. “What I miss.”
The room was still buzzing with low conversation, but it felt like the two of you were sealed off, a tiny pocket of air humming with things neither of you wanted to name.
For a second, all the restless anger in his posture eased. His shoulders dropped. He looked almost shy again, the Sam you remembered from before everything went sideways.
Emma’s high-pitched giggle cut through the tension. "Okay, Jordan, enough!" she laughed, shoving Jordan lightly toward the heavy bunker door. "We need more snacks. Like, yesterday."
Jordan grinned, already heading out. "Marie? You coming? Vending machine run." Marie glanced back at you and Sam, hesitated for a fraction of a second, then nodded silently, following them out.
The reinforced steel door groaned shut behind them with a final, echoing clunk.
Silence slammed down. Thick. Suffocating.
Dust motes danced in the single overhead light’s harsh glare, suddenly the loudest thing in the room. You were alone. With Sam. The air crackled, heavy with everything unsaid.
Your phone felt slippery in your clammy hand. You stared at the scuffed concrete floor, tracing a hairline crack near your boot. Anything to avoid looking at him.
Anything to avoid acknowledging the raw vulnerability in his whispered confession: What I miss.
Your cheeks burned. Why did Marie have to leave? Why did Jordan pick now for snacks? The silence stretched, tight as a wire about to snap. You could hear the faint hum of the bunker’s ventilation system. Hear Sam’s slow, deliberate exhale.
"So," Sam finally rasped, the word rough, scraping the quiet. He hadn’t moved from leaning against the wall. His gaze was fixed on you, intense and unnervingly direct. "Greg."
It wasn't a question. It was a statement loaded with something dark and possessive. You flinched, instinctively stepping back, bumping against the worn armrest of the couch.
"Sam," you breathed, your voice barely audible above the hum of the ventilation. "He's just Greg. He's nice."
"Nice." Sam pushed himself off the wall, unfolding his lean frame with predatory grace. He took one step, then another, closing the distance until you could see the faint pulse in his temple, the way his blue eyes seemed to pierce through your feeble defences. "He buys you sodas. Calls you princess." He spat the last word, his lip curling. "He touches you. Like he owns you."
"He doesn't!" The protest sounded weak, even to you. You clutched your phone tighter, the plastic casing digging into your palm. "He's just… friendly."
"Is that what you call it?" Sam stopped inches away, the heat radiating off him palpable. His gaze dropped, lingering pointedly on your thighs where Greg's hand had brushed earlier.
A slow, unsettling smirk spread across his face, devoid of warmth. "Friendly." He let the word hang, heavy with implication. "You used to be friendly with me."
You swallowed hard. "Things change." You tried to inject steel into your voice, but it trembled.
"Do they?" His smirk widened, sharpening into something dangerous. He leaned in, his voice dropping to a low, intimate murmur that sent shivers down your spine despite the stifling heat. "Because I haven't changed. Not about you."
His breath ghosted warm against your ear. "I thought about you. Every damn day. Even when you stopped looking at me. Even when you pretended I didn't exist." He paused, letting the confession sink in, his eyes locked onto yours with unnerving intensity. "Especially then."
The manipulation was subtle, insidious.
Wrapping his longing in a barbed wire of accusation, making you feel guilty for moving on. He didn't say he missed you, he said he thought about you, twisting his own absence into your perceived betrayal.
Your breath caught, trapped somewhere between disbelief and a terrifying pull. His proximity was overwhelming, the scent of soap and clean sweat mingling with the metallic tang of the bunker.
His gaze slid deliberately down your body again, lingering longer this time on the curve of your hip, the line of your thigh pressed against the couch arm.
"Missed this," he murmured, the rough scrape of his voice unnervingly intimate against the bunker's stale air. His lips brushed the frantic pulse point beneath your jaw, a feather-light touch that ignited sparks beneath your skin. "Missed you."
It wasn't gentle; it was possessive, an assertion. "Ever since the woods." His breath was hot on your neck. "Ever since I saw you in that lab coat, hiding me."
Another kiss, lower this time, near the sensitive curve where neck met shoulder. His hand settled firmly on your waist, fingers pressing possessively into the fabric. "Always wanted to do this. Taste you here." His tongue traced a slow, deliberate path upwards.
You gasped, a sharp intake of air that sounded deafening in the silence. Your hands instinctively flew to his shoulders, not pushing away, but gripping the taut muscle beneath his thin tank top. "Sam…"
It was a protest choked by sensation.
He pulled back just enough to lock his stormy eyes with yours.
The raw need in them was terrifying, mixed with a dark certainty. "You miss it too," he stated, his thumb brushing the frantic flutter in your throat. "Missed me. Missed how I knew you. Really knew you."
His other hand slid lower, tracing the outside seam of your leggings, his palm heavy and warm against your thigh. The pressure was deliberate, suggestive. "Not like Greg." He spat the name, a venomous dismissal.
"Pretty boy with his plants and his sodas." His fingers tightened, pressing your thigh firmly against the couch armrest, a subtle shift that mimicked the friction of riding. "He'll never let you feel this."
His voice dropped to a rough whisper, lips brushing your ear again. "Never let you lose control. He'll keep you safe. Bored." His gaze was intense, manipulative, searching your face for confirmation. "Safe feels like hell now, doesn't it?"
You couldn't speak. His words were hooks, sinking deep into insecurities you hadn't voiced.
The comparison was cruel, designed to isolate. His proximity, the heat of him, the possessive weight of his hand anchoring your thigh, it short-circuited thought.
Your power flickered instinctively, tiny sparks of light dancing erratically around your clenched fists, betraying the chaos inside. He saw it, a predatory gleam flashing in his eyes. He leaned in again, capturing your lips this time.
It wasn't tender; it was claiming.
A desperate, bruising kiss fuelled by a year of silence and simmering jealousy, designed to obliterate Greg, obliterate safety, obliterate everything but the raw, dangerous connection crackling between you in the suffocating silence of Stan Edgar's forgotten bunker.
He broke the kiss abruptly, leaving you gasping, your lips tingling.
Before you could react, he moved with startling speed. His hands slid firmly beneath your thighs. A sharp lift, a controlled pivot, and he sank onto the worn couch cushions, pulling you down with him.
You landed straddling his lap, knees bracketing his hips, the sudden intimacy stealing your breath. His hands locked onto your waist, fingers digging possessively through the fabric of your shirt. His gaze, dark and intense, held yours captive.
"See?" he breathed, voice rough with triumph and something darker. "This." He shifted deliberately beneath you, the hard ridge of his arousal pressing unmistakably against the thin barrier of your leggings.
The friction was immediate, electric. "This is what you miss." His hands slid lower, gripping the curve of your hips, urging you forward with insistent pressure.
Manipulation wrapped in velvet touch. He pressed kisses against your jawline, your cheekbone, feather-light yet demanding, while his hands guided your hips in a slow, deliberate rhythm against him.
"Tell me he makes you feel like this," he murmured against your skin, punctuating the words with a sharp upward thrust of his own hips that forced a choked gasp from your throat.
His fingers tightened, digging into the flesh above your leggings' waistband. "Tell me he knows how wet you get just thinking about me."
The words were a weapon, twisting your body's undeniable response into proof of his ownership, erasing Greg with every calculated press and grind. His gaze burned into yours, daring you to deny it, searching for the flicker of surrender he knew was there.
He didn't ask if you wanted this; he forced the confession through your body's traitorous movement, his hand firmly guiding your waist, grinding you down onto him with relentless, possessive pressure. He knew you wanted this.
"Say it," he breathed, his lips brushing yours again, a promise and a threat tangled together. "Say you missed this."
You couldn't.
Words were ash in your mouth.
Only sounds escaped, low, involuntary whines that rose from your chest, turning into breathy mewls as the friction intensified. Your hands, trapped against his shoulders, clenched and unclenched, nails scraping the worn cotton of his tank.
Every nerve felt raw, exposed.
The bunker’s stale air thickened with the scent of exertion, soap, and the sharp tang of your own arousal blooming beneath the fabric separating you. He shifted subtly beneath you, angling himself to hit the perfect spot with each grinding circle he forced your hips to make.
With the pressure against your clit through the leggings was relentless, maddening. Your head fell back, eyes squeezing shut against the overhead light’s harsh glare, a desperate whimper escaping as sensation threatened to overwhelm you.
Your thighs trembled against his hips, muscles straining with the effort of maintaining the rhythm he dictated.
"Look at me." His command was low, guttural. You forced your eyes open, meeting the storm in his gaze, jealousy, possession, and a terrifying vulnerability he’d never shown anyone else. He saw the tears welling, the frantic pulse in your throat, the way your lips trembled.
A dark satisfaction flickered across his face, he thrust up sharply again, wrenching another sharp cry from you. "Only me." His hand slid from your waist, fingers tracing a deliberate path down your spine, pressing firmly against the small of your back to arch you harder against him.
As the increased pressure became electric, stealing your breath, your hips stuttered, losing the controlled rhythm, grinding down desperately now, seeking relief from the unbearable tension coiling tighter and tighter.
The rough fabric of his jeans, the hard ridge beneath, the damp heat building between your legs, it fused into a single, overwhelming sensation. Your whines climbed higher, sharper, dissolving into mewling gasps as you chased the peak he was ruthlessly orchestrating.
Your power flared uncontrollably, tiny, frantic sparks of light bursting around your clenched fists like dying stars, illuminating the dust motes dancing violently in the charged air. Your forehead pressed against his shoulder, muffling the helpless sounds escaping your throat as your body moved frantically against his, driven by instinct and his relentless manipulation.
The climax slammed into you with brutal suddenness.
Not a wave, but a detonation. Your entire body locked, back arching violently against his restraining hand as a ragged, high-pitched cry tore from your throat.
Sensation flooded you, white-hot and obliterating, radiating outwards from the core where you pressed desperately against him. Your thighs clamped around his hips, trembling uncontrollably as the aftershocks ripped through you.
The sparks flared brighter, momentarily bathing the grim bunker walls in chaotic, shimmering light before flickering out. You slumped forward, forehead pressed hard against his collarbone, breath coming in ragged, shuddering gasps.
Silence descended, thick and heavy, broken only by your uneven breathing and the frantic thud of your own heart against your ribs. You felt utterly spent, exposed, hollowed out.
His arms encircled you, holding you tightly against his chest as your tremors subsided. He didn't speak. He just held you, his own breathing rough against your hair. The silence stretched, filled only by the fading hum of the ventilation and the phantom echo of your own shattered cries.
Outside, the heavy bunker door remained stubbornly shut.
Sam shifted beneath you, his arms tightening possessively. His voice, when it finally came, was a low rasp against your temple, devoid of its earlier sharpness, replaced by a chilling certainty.
"That wasn't just friction" He smoothed a hand down your spine, the gesture almost soothing, yet laced with triumph. "That was us. That spark, that… chaos." His fingers traced the damp fabric clinging to your lower back.
His other hand slid up to cup your jaw, tilting your face up to meet his gaze. His eyes were intense, dark pools reflecting the harsh overhead light.
"He doesn't know you. Who screamed at Homelander's hologram on the news." His thumb brushed your bottom lip, still swollen from his kiss. "He'll never push you. Never touch the darkness because he's too afraid of it. Too afraid of you." He leaned closer, his breath warm on your cheek.
His gaze held yours, stripping away any pretense. "I'm not afraid. I want it. All of it. The light, the dark, the goddamn glitter explosion. Because I am it too." His voice dropped to a near whisper, intimate and manipulative.
You trembled against him, the aftershocks of your climax mingling with the cold dread his words instilled. He was twisting your vulnerability, your undeniable response to him, into proof of something deeper, darker.
Proof Greg was inadequate. "Sam…" you breathed, voice shaky. "It wasn't…"
"Wasn't what?" he interrupted smoothly, his hand tightening on your jaw. "Wasn't real?" He gave a low, humorless chuckle. "Your body doesn't lie. Not like your words do." He shifted subtly beneath you, the hard ridge of his arousal still pressing insistently against your core through the damp leggings.
A reminder.
You flinched at the truth in it. the terrifying allure of the chaos he embodied.
Safety had started to feel suffocating. Greg’s kindness felt… distant. Sam’s intensity was a drug you’d forgotten the potency of. "Sam," you whispered, voice thick with exhaustion and confusion. "It’s complicated."
"Is it?" He tilted his head, a predator assessing wounded prey. "Seems simple to me." He leaned forward, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to your forehead.
It was unexpectedly tender, jarring after the bruising intensity moments before. "You’re mine," he murmured against your skin, the possessiveness velvet-coated now.
"Always were. You just forgot." His hands slid down your back, settling possessively on your hips. "Greg’s a nice distraction. Like a pretty plant." His voice dropped, intimate and dangerous.
He pulled back to look at you, a faint, genuine smile touching his lips, the first glimpse of the boy you remembered. "Tell him you need space. Tell him it’s not working. Be kind." His thumb traced your jawline. "Do it today. Before he gets hurt."
The manipulation was breathtakingly cruel. He framed it as concern for Greg, twisting his own jealousy into a shield. He used the intimacy he'd forced, the vulnerability he'd exposed, as leverage.
He offered tenderness after the storm, making his claim feel like salvation instead of captivity. Your legs were still trembling around his hips, the phantom echoes of your climax mingling with the chilling certainty in his eyes.
He wasn't asking.
He was rebuilding your world, placing himself firmly at its centre, using the aftershocks of pleasure as his foundation stones. The bunker door remained shut, sealing you inside his carefully constructed reality.

LIKE OKAY THOUGH can I explain why this is exceedingly brilliant?? Because when anti-depressants work right, that’s what they DO. They don’t make you happy or emotionless or unhealthy in any way, they make you FUNCTIONAL. They make it so that a depressed person who can barely get out of bed can start to support themselves again and more importantly, start to THINK for themselves again without the permeating presence of depression.
Depression is a cyclical disease, that tells you to think a certain way, and, because you’re depressed, you generally believe it, and then things get worse and worse. The ONLY thing anti-depressants do is to STOP that cycle in its tracks!! Which is something to be ecstatic about and celebrated, even if you don’t realize it at the time, because when you’re depressed, getting out of bed is climbing Mount Everest. Antidepressants help stop that cycle so that one day soon, getting out of bed can JUST be getting out of bed. They don’t even expedite the recovery process in most cases, they just make recovery POSSIBLE IN THE FIRST PLACE. So this little guy is portrayed with a fuckton more accuracy than I ever expected from a commercial.
You just realised what you did after the warm feeling of Newt‘s lips against your cold ones. You let go of Newt’s robe and step back immediately.
You didn’t dare to look into Newt’s face. He for sure hates you now. How could you be so forward and just kiss him? What the hell came over you?
„I’m sorry, Newt. I… I don’t know what I thought“ you stutter.
„Erm… Y/N, I think I- I should let you know that I didn’t rea- really mind at all“ Newt‘s eyes are wandering back and forth; to your figure and back to the ground again. When you finally dared to look up again, your sight was filled with a hard blushing Newt and the small guy that was on Newt’s left hand before, is now sitting on his shoulder; still trying to hide his eyes behind his whirry hands.
***
Without either of you saying anything else, you two behaved like a couple. You tried to spend most of your time together. The pair of you cuddled in a small room in a tower where Newt seems to hide some of his creatures he wanted to examine.
Your head rested on his chest while he leaned slightly against the wall with his robe functioned as a cushion. The both of you surrounded by some creatures while the moonlight fell through the window. Neither of you dared to break the pleasing silence. Newt drove his fingers through your hair, messaged your scalp from time to time or tried to pull you closer as you were before. One of your legs is draped of his. After a while, you started to draw patterns on his chest until… you drew an ‘I’ paused shortly, then drew the letters ‘l,o,v,e’ and also paused shortly after it. And finally the letters ‘y,o,u’.
You wondered if he got that, but your question was answered when Newt placed a kiss on top of your head and murmured “I love you too, Y/N. So much.”
You both missed a few lessons of potions when the pair of you decided to go and meet the Bowtruckles again. Newt went into the kitchen before your small trip and grabbed a few snacks. So you sat down in the green grass and ate the snacks Newt brought along. At some point, Newt leaned against the tree while you sat between his legs, your back on his chest. He held your hands and rested them on your thighs. You both looked at the water in front of you or at the sky high above you.
Suddenly, Newt takes your still intertwined hands and wraps his arms, including your own, around your chest and pulls you closer to him. His nose is nuzzling in your neck while shortly after, you feel his lips on your neck. He takes in your scent while you close your eyes and just enjoy the moment. You always asked yourself how you deserved someone like Newt. Someone who showered you in love and affection. Someone that never let you down. Someone with such kindness and warmth.
“I love you, Newt” you take a deep breath “how on earth did I get so lucky to have you by my side?”
“No, Y/N, I’m the lucky one. No one ever a-accepted me as I am. I always get told I’m weird and-and have odd interests. And to be honest, I still hear phrases like these. But they don’t hurt me anymore like they-ey used to. Because I got you by my side. A-and you take me for who I am. You even support my research of these stunning creatures… and talk to me about how we could travel the world.” Newt’s voice breaks a little, so he places his chin on your shoulder and takes a deep breath only to continue “I… I never had someone like you. Not as a friend, and o-obviously not as a partner. I owe you so much, Y/N, love.”
You had a hard time not letting your tears slip onto your eyes. But once your lashes kissed your cheeks, the tears rolled down your face. You slightly move in Newt’s embrace, place your hands onto his cheeks and kiss him passionately. You parted from Newt to get some air but still leaned your forehead against his “I came here knowing no one. But you catched me when I started to lose hope of ever fitting in here. I came here knowing no one… and now I found my everything.”
You see how Newt’s corners of his lips raised a bit.
“God, that was awfully cheesy, wasn’t it?” You say and want to slap yourself.
Newt continues smiling and shrugs his shoulders “Just… caught me off guard, I guess. N-never thought you could be so ro-romantic.”
You knew that he was teasing you, but you really didn’t mind. You even liked it a bit.
You shared a lot of these moments. But suddenly Newt always seemed to be busy. Whenever you asked him to hang out, he never had time. In potions, he began to work with another girl. Of course you were hurt. But you also knew that Newt never wanted to let someone feel bad. So you figured that the usual working partner of this girl was sick and Newt got told to work with her.
It was one evening that you sat alone in the common room of the Slytherin House when you heard someone coming up the stairs to the tower. It was a female, she talked and giggled a lot to your unpleasantness.
Once the two people which were coming up stood in the doorway, your heart started beating faster. You started to get angry when he looked into his eyes which were smiling a few seconds before.
The girl which came up with Newt grew silent. Awkwardly looking back and forth between the pair of you.
“Y/N, listen… it’s not what y-you think it i-“
“I don’t want to hear it, Newton.” You raised yourself from the sofa. Newt taken aback when he heard you calling him ‘Newton’.
“Please, Y/N. Let me expla-“
“Cut it, Scamander! You really think I haven’t thought about you probably meeting up with her? That you got more important things to do that we can’t meet up anymore??” You grew frustrated, angry. Your blood felt like it was boiling in your veins and rising in your throat. Seeing Newt getting even more distanced as you just called him by his last name. He felt so out of reach. And he did nothing to change that.
“I- I… if you let me expl- no. I can assure you that it’s no-nothing what you think of, I swear!” Tears started to come up in his eyes. He wasn’t sure if he can step closer to you now or not.
You shake your head no “I don’t wanna hear it. I don’t need someone cheating on me and not telling the truth after it. Go back to the basement where you belong, Scamander.”
Newt stumbled back at your final words.
You turned on your heel and ran to your bedroom. Just a few seconds after, you hear how someone smashed the door to the tower.
I ate gummy bears as breakfast and now I feel sick lol
I love Newt so much.
Also I added wildlife in this story because I though it fit the 1920 scene not because I condone or want people to hold wildlife as pets. But, it seemed like something that would happen in the 1920 ish.

So I have been watching money heist and in the middle of this plot brewing in my head,I had an epiphany. So just humour me. All my life, ever since I saw power rangers SPD and was in awe of the pink ranger,I took on her name as my internet presence. So let's hear about this plot that came to my head and then the epiphany which helped me with my favourite line.
The proffesor has incriminated berlin by dropping his button.Angel has showed up in his warehouse already. Now there is another knock on the door . The proffesor is expecting Raquel to show up but not so soon. He seems slightly worried and opens the door. Meanwhile ,a stranger waits for the door to be opened. "hello professor!" She says . The proffesor is taken aback, his mind wheels turning, trying to figure out if someone on his team betrayed him. The stranger pushes in,starts walking inside to the place where professor keeps an eye on the heist. The professor is still perplexed as to who this person is and how does she know him when she turns and shows her identity card of a journalist. She says, "I think I can help!". The professor looks at the card and says,"this is fake! Who are you? ".the stranger smiles and says,"you can ask your friend inside, what was he called, umm yeah Berlin! ".
The professor calls up to talk to Berlin and asks about her. Berlin asks for her on the phone and easily recognises her voice. He seems mildly shocked and asks her how it took her so much time to find him. She laughed a little and said,"ofcourse ,I had to figure out who you would run to figure out the kinks!" Berlin told the professor that the girl could be trusted if he wanted her to help. The professor realised she was the person who laid the outline of this plan before Berlin came to him with it.
So the professor and the girl talk it out and she tells him how she could be useful. She told him,she could leak certain stories about the negotiator bringing her personal life to the foray! She could also plant the news of how inspector angel had failed his duties twice and seemed to be helping the thieves. The professor would be slightly hesitant but would agree a bit later.
There are moments between the two ,the professor slowly realising that the girl was helpful and intelligent. He also liked her presence and liked staring at her while she was doing something or the other. The girl had a history with Berlin but was also developing a thing for the professor slowly.
They both decide to go to the coffee house where salva usually meets Raquel. They were having coffee when Raquel shows up and looks a bit taken aback at the scene of her salva sitting with another girl. The professor looks mildly surprised at Raquel being there and greets her. The girl smiles at Raquel and says,"Nice meeting you salva,I guess I shall leave you two." She sneakily takes a picture of Raquel with salva but makes sure salva cannot be recognised in it.
The news doing the rounds is that Raquel doesn't give a shit about the heist, and is busy with her mystery man. Raquel seems caught off-guard and asks salva about their picture in the paper. Salva tells her that the girl she saw was a journalist and was asking other customers questions before he arrived and then asked him a few questions before Raquel showed up.
Meanwhile angel is out of the picture and Raquel is being scrutinized and there are no more complications to the heist. Berlin is talking to the professor for a regular check-in when he hears her voice and asks for her on the phone. Berlin asks her why she was still there,he had expected her to be long gone! To which the girl replied that she was just waiting for her farewell dinner and was going to leave. The professor seemed a little sad hearing this but quickly covered it up.
The girl looked at the proffesor and asked if she would get the farewell dinner before she leaves and the professor replied with a yes!. While cooking, the girl was sitting on the slab ,staring at the professor who was cutting some veggies. Suddenly the girl said," you don't want me to go ! "The professor looks up from the cutting board and looks a little confused. "you like my presence here, you seem sad that the dinner will get over and I will leave. You like me! But you won't ask me to stay. Are you ready to let go professor?" She asked the professor all the while staring in his eyes.
The professor smiled and said ,"so now you are a mind reader as well? " The girl replied that she learnt it from Berlin, and asked if anything she said was wrong.
The professor moved a little closer to her, staring at her lips ,said "just a minor thing! " And whispered "stay!" On her lips.
The lips turned into a soft smile as the girl wrapped her legs around the professor. "Have you thought of a name then? "She asked.
Title: Settle For Me Character: Jake Peralta A/n: I listened to the “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” soundtrack and for some reason this song just screamed Jake to me, I dunno why. Give it a listen and lemme know if you agree.

“You’re staring at him again.” Your chin fell from your hand and you looked up wide eyed at Rosa who was staring you down with her usual unamused expression.
You sat up in your desk chair, smoothing out your hair and presuming your case report as you cleared your throat. “Maybe I was.”
Rosa clicked her tongue, reclining in her chair as she folded her arms, the leather material of her jacket making small squelch noises. “Why don’t you just ask him out, it’s obvious you have a thing for him.”
“I can’t! Then he’ll know!” You told her with a distressed expression as you cast a small glance over at the cute detective across the room.
His name was Josh and you had been harboring a small crush over him ever since he started working at the precinct a couple months ago. On his first day, he accidentally spilled coffee all over your new white blouse, and after dozens of apologies he told you to take his NYPD jacket to cover the mess.
He was just so dishy, a kind smile, the most dazzling blue eyes you’d ever seen on a person, and one of those jawlines that looked like it could cut butter.
“He’s too good looking for me,” You reasoned, the speed of your typing increasing the more you thought on it. “I’ll just admire from afar.”
Rosa exhailed sharply and rested her elbows on the top of her desk she was intimidatingly close. “Look, I don’t care but you should know that anyone would be lucky to be with you,” Her eyes took one glance at how your eyes lit up and she went back to her work.
“And I don’t care, just man the hell up and ask him out.”
You smiled at her, knowing she was trying to be supportive the best she could.
Just a couple feet away from your desks was Jake Peralta, unhappily switching gaze between you and Josh, noticing the doey look you were giving him much to Jake’s annoyance.
Jake let out a sigh, starting to fill out some forms and not-so-subtlety looking up at Amy, waiting for a response.
When he got nothing he sighed again, louder this time and dramatically tossing aside his pencil. Amy gave him one glance before going back to her work.
Jake frowned. “Alright, you obviously can tell I’m in a distressed state and want to vent, the least you can do is pretend to care.”
Amy rolled her eyes. “Why don’t you go find Boyle or Gina?”
“Boyle’s on that family trip and Gina found a new place to practice her dance moves.” Amy followed his hand and saw Gina sparatically dancing in the evidence room with a huge pair of headphones on.
“Okay,” Amy said quietly, pushing away her keyboard. “I’m just gonna pretend I didn’t see that, what do you want?”
Jake pretended to toss back his hair. “Thank you, it’s nice to feel appreciated,” He said, taking a great deal of pleasure in her annoyed scowl. “I’ve been into (Y/n) for over a year now, why does she like that tool more than me?” He asked, throwing a quick gesture over to Josh.
Amy looked over at him and smiled. “Oh yeah, the cute one.”
Jake groaned, falling back into his chair. “What is wrong with you two! I’m a catch!”
Amy snorted, folding her hands neatly on her desk. “Well let’s start with the easiest things. For one, he is exceedingly more handsome than you, definitely more in shape, he’s sweet and charismatic, doesn’t have a weird attachment to the one nice jacket he owns and his credit is impeccable.”
Jake looked at her with his mouth agape. “Well glad to know you put a lot of thought into this, Santiago. And for the record! I have tons of jackets.” He said, grabbing his leather jacket and tossing it onto the floor behind him.
Amy stood up from her seat, grabbing her coffee mug and looking at him with an unimpressed expression. “I guess add that he’s less petty than you onto the list now too.”
Jake pouted. “Dammit, she got me.” He looked over at you again, noticing the small peices of hair falling out of the updo your hair was in and how your fingers tapped on your desk and he found himself smiling softly.
Jake stood up, quickly plucking his jacket off the ground. “I’m sorry, she made me do it, just ignore her.” He whispered to it before putting on and adjusting his hood over the collar.
“Hey, (Y/n)!” He said, casually strolling up to your desk and attempting a charming smile. “Wanna go grab a coffee with me?”
You looked up at him and smiled. “Yeah, sure. I could use a break.”
Jake smiled and offered his arm to you. “After you.”
•
The whole walk to the coffee shop, you and Jake talked about everything under the sun, cracking small jokes to one another and just having a lovely little moment together.
Jake just couldn’t stop thinking about how great a couple the two of you would make.
You and him just understood each other and for him, you were the most easiest person in the world to talk to.
Not to mention he felt his entire insides turn to jelly when you leaned into him after a particularly hearty chuckle, still having your arm linked with his. He wanted to be that close to you all the time.
Then he would remember you had a crush on someone else and it really killed the mood.
But what really bothered him was that Josh never really seemed to notice you the same way, he was polite to you but never went out of his way to talk to you.
And Jake couldn’t understand how someone lucky enough to hold your affection would just ignore you.
The two of you sat down at a little table near the window and continued to talk about small things while you waited for your coffee. Jake watched how your fingers would sometimes tug onto your lips when you were trying to think of something or the way you tapped your foot to the beat of the music playing in the background.
“Can I confess something?”
You were about to respond when a barista came over and set down two mugs of coffee on the table.
“A secret from Jake Peralta? I’m all ears.”
Jake laughed, twirling his mug by the handle. “I just wanted to tell you that I really think the world of you, I think you’re brilliant at your job.”
He looked up and saw you eyeing him curiously over the brim of your mug and he cleared his throat before continuing.
“And I know that you have a thing for Josh,” You choked a little on your coffee, placing the cup down before covering the lower half of your face with your hand.
“How did you know that?” Flushing when you heard him chuckle. Jake looked at you with such fondness it almost took you back a little.
“C'mon, I know you better than anyone in 99, plus you’re really not that subtle.” He shook his head. “Not the point though, what I mean is I’ve had a crush on you for forever and I wanted to know if you would give me a shot,” Jake said quickly, noticing the surprised look on your face. “I know I’m literally nothing like Josh, word around the office is that he’s a dreamboat but don’t take my word for it.”
Your brows furrowed. “You have a crush on me?”
Jake nodded and looked down at his coffee. “Yup, I mean I totally don’t mind being your second, I just can’t shake the feeling that we’d be really good together. So, I was uh, hoping you’d let me at least give me a try. I mean we’re great partners and I like being with you” He laughed. “Call it a sad version of fate.”
You smiled at him and shook your head. “I can’t believe I didn’t notice, I must have been pretty oblivious.”
Jake scoffed dramatically. “God, you were the worst! I was worried I’d have to go full Boyle or have Gina come up with an interpretive dance to tell you.”
You laughed, taking a moment to look at him. “You deserve a lot better than to be a second choice, Jake. Tell you what, why don’t we go out somewhere Friday night, maybe we could see a movie?”
Jake gave you smile that just beamed happiness and he held out his hand. “(Y/f/n), are you asking me out?”
You took his hand and kissed the back of it, causing him to let out a totally manly squeal. “Yes, I am.”
Jake was properly blushing, but he cleared his throat and wheezed. “Thought you’d never ask.”
